    i really needed someone to actually give me a follow through on how to juggle between uni and step 1 material .....and watching this makes me feel like both of the materials are pretty coherent and can be done via proper time management !!

    Do you prefer Kaplan over BNB?

    • @IshwariChandran
      @IshwariChandran  2 года назад

      I’m glad! I used Kaplan & loved it!
      I haven’t used BnB but I’ve heard it’s really good too! It’s shorter and more concise as compared to Kaplan. You can try it for free on their website and see which one you prefer :)

    Hi , I have a doubt ,how long is the ecfmg certificate valid for,can we extend its. Validity by renewing it yearly or is it not possible

    • @IshwariChandran
      @IshwariChandran  3 года назад

      If you end up starting residency in the the US, it won’t expire. But if you don’t, then it will expire the next year and you’ve to fulfil the criteria for ecfmg certification again

      @@IshwariChandran I found biochemistry insanely well done on Kaplan but it's 40+ hours as compared to 10-12 hours in others .I am planning to use physeo in place of BNB , along with sketchy pharm , sketchy micro , FA, USMLE rx and UWORLD qbank , pathoma and top it off with Zanki , Duke and lolcantop decks . With all due respect to DR Ryan, I am finding BNB to be too bland and lacking in terms of illustrations , feels like someone reading FA in front of me. Is it ok to go with these resources or should I consider something else ? I am an intern in India and will take step 1 after graduation by the end of 2022 or early 2023 .

    I have one question please answer me
    I’m also done my MBBS from china
    1. I have very average marks in my academic years only 73%
    2. I have failed in 3 subject but i cleared it in the very next attempt
    Will that be a red flag for usmle residency match?
    Please reply. This will really helpful for my journey.

      @IshwariChandran  2 года назад +1

      Thank you :)
      Med school scores don't matter as much as USMLE scores. Also, it isn't a strict red flag. You can always speak about it positively focusing on what you learnt from the experience and how you overcame it :)
