Anybody that gets upset over turning as opposed to creating is splitting hairs. Weather you turn a bowl or create a knife handle, you have used your woodworking gifts and abilities. Beautiful job on the knife handles. I really enjoy how you mix colors. Wonderful work. Take care.
@Elainetreadwell, That makes no sense. How is turning different from creating? Either way the wood has to be manipulated and you are creating something....
Outstanding job Doug they look great and it’s nice to change it up every once in a while you don’t have to turn all the time why I love seeing you work you make such beautiful things
Absolutely gorgeous work. I follow a RUclipsr named Shurap who makes incredible Damascus blades but never puts handles on them. Thanks for giving me an idea of how great his work would look if someone with talent was putting handles on his work.
If anyone leaves your channel just because you didn't "turn" something, they definitely aren't "the sharpest knife in the block". As always, your color mixing is impeccable. Beautiful work.
Wonderful to see other opportunities for resin and wood projects and 2 artists creating beautiful pieces in collaboration. Definitely would not make me unsubscribe. More please
For scaling not being your 'forte', you sure nailed it with this project. That is some fantastic work and beautiful handles. Thanks for yet another great video, sir. Semper Fi, brother!
You are so fun to watch, Doug! Never lose that charm! This knife handle is outstanding! Blue Ribbon worthy! The viewer you made it for, is one lucky person! Stay warm if it’s starting to get cold there. ☮️🏁 ✨Roma
Doug, you are correct, if you lose subscribers for this video, you didn't need them. Beautiful work as always, looking at some knife blanks for myself now :).
Turned out beautifully! I know you can't make everyone happy and some folks are just outright trolls, but if they unsub for this they are crazy! I hope that he likes his knives, his work is very nice! Made a great collab! Thanks for sharing your talents!
Nice job Doug. I started doing knifes a year ago and all the family now have chef and paring knifes. It sure is a nice change and knifes can be used everyday.
Wow! Those are absolutely amazing! That was looking really good, then you put the finish on and BAM! Then the polishing took it up another huge step. I love the turning, but it's also great to see your other projects. This was very interesting. Beautiful!
They both look really nice. The knife handles I’ve made I soak them in orange and mineral oil over night then use the oil to sand from 600-12,000. But they were both knives for daily use. 👍🇺🇸
Doug ya did it again, taking something you dont necessarily know what your doing with and making a VERY good product. Those are beautifully made blades and great work on the handles. As for those who might complain or leave cause you didnt turn something this time, well.....sucks to be them then, really. Its always nice to have a bit of variety in things.
omg how did I miss this Knife handle! this is beautiful. love your odd projects like the painting and this knife. would live to see more knife handles.
I loved how those "turned" out at the end. I worked in production boning for years and the grip does look pretty comfortable. And beautiful. Wouldn't mind watching another one of those. Keep'em coming!
👏🥰👏🥰👏🥰👏🥰👏🥰 Well, Dang Dang Double Dang Doug! How Talented you are Buddy!!! Those look Beyond Amazing!!! Very Very Nice Work! I wouldn't mind one or 10 of those! Just Gorgeous! I know this is one Oh So Happy Knife Guy! BRAVO Doug BRAVO! Stay Safe and Continue Healing! XOXO's G.

I want to know more about doing both... happy to see both skills demonstrated in one place.
@Elainetreadwell, That makes no sense. How is turning different from creating? Either way the wood has to be manipulated and you are creating something....
Beautiful work, Doug! Perfect scales on those knives. Enjoyed this video very much.
