  • I installed the 360 Siphon vent covers on our Cherokee 264DBH. It was an easy process. The only other thing you really need is a marine grade adhesive. These vent covers are supposed to assist in pulling the sewer gas out of your black and gray tanks.

Hi, did you consider removing the old vent assembly and put on all of the new vent parts?

I did consider it until I saw how easy it was to just replace the cap portion. It was also a newer camper so not having to remove sealing or anything made me feel a little better.

The aftermarket installation manual indicates that you are to also remove the old 8 support legs in addition to the lid support. Did you find it not necessary to remove these in your installation ? Thanks.

Bizmarker I did not it seemed like they helped hold the 360 siphon on so I left them.

Did it help with extracting the fumes out of the tank?

Luis NY yes it did seem to help, last year we had a little odor when the camper was just sitting there and we have not gotten that back after adding the new caps!
