Green lantern defenders rise up bc I love that ride so much, I love the intensity and forces it has. The inclined loop is awesome. I’ve never gotten a painful ride on it and I really enjoy it.

Green lantern bangs my head without mercy and digs into my shoulders, you have to literally mess with the horrible restraints to get them not to hurt which messes with the ride experience.
It's got a good layout I just haven't found a way to prevent my ears from pinballing on the restraints. it's so painful lol
I’ve only had one ride on it and I found it to be smoother and more enjoyable than Bizarro before it was rethemed.
Had a REALLY lucky day a couple weeks ago. Both Toro and Kingda Ka were closed, but opened as we walked up to their respective gates. Worried that I used up 10 years worth of luck on a single day, but it was awesome.
I'm so glad Dan is back in the vlogs. It's been since 2019. Just make sure Airtime Thrills doesn't pay him more lol.

I am very happy with the appointment of Brian Bacica as park president. It seems very promising given his extensive experience in the top tier Disney & Universal brands. Already I am noticing the influence his theme park background is having on Great Adventure. Hopefully he will eventually transform that park into the elite destination it has the potential to become and earn him the title of the best Six Flags park president, because I think Great Adventure deserves that. 👍👍👍❤🧡💛
El Toro is the best wooden coaster in the world IMO. It’s like it’s trying it’s best to throw you off the ride. And BTW, that was a terrible segue into your sponsor commercial 😂

Dueling drop rides are great. Last year at SFMM I was on the edge seat of Luthor as Superman flew up the spike right next to me
I went to the park a few days before you came and El Toro was open, though it was rough when I rode it

Green Lantern is my least favorite coaster that I have been on in the current Great Adventure. I nearly dislocated my hip with the bad ergonomics of that seat and the rail you have to keep your feet inside of. I rode that coaster twice and will never go on it again.
And I personally Love that Superman ride. It's one of my favorites.
BIZARRO is the unsung HERO of Great Adventure.. I've been going to Great Adventure since I was a kid. Once a year my parents would take us out of school to go to Great Adventure and we used to do the drive-through Animal Safari.. Watching a troupe of baboons hanging off the ladder of a van, or ripping apart the vinyl roof on a car is DEFINITELY a bucket list event. Sooperdooperlooper with my first upside down coaster.. I went into that haunted house that burned down. It may be because I was only 6, but it was absolutely terrifying and my dad carried me through it.
i went to great adventure for the first time at the beginning of september and i somehow didnt realise until i was already in the station that green lantern was a stand-up... i had to lay down on the floor for a while after the ride ended. that shit hurt
but then again i wasnt wearing vessis
they need to let u load money into your season pass then scan your season pass at the locker, the locker still has a code, your pass would be safe inside until done :)

I legit went two days ago and the park has no lines fully empty I rode KDK more than once. Ran thru the whole park in like 4 hours n kept seeing the same people. Avoiding weekends and going after the official school year started was the move

I just went yesterday, first weekend of Freight Fest and El Toro was closed! I believe it was opened earlier in the day, but then closed for some reason. One of the coasters was just sitting at the bottom of the track empty. Absolutely sucked. I think Green Lantern is ok. It would be a lot better for me if not for the headbanging. It is actually a bit more intense then Medusa, but I prefer Medusa because of how smooth and comfortable it is. Of the 9 big coasters there, I put Lantern at number 8 ahead of Joker.

I'm pretty sure I was there the same day as you were. I hadn't been to Great Adventure in over a decade and was so excited to ride El Toro again, but alas, Six Flags maintenance strikes again... The park was busy and the general experience wasn't great and I would never visit this park again if it wasn't for El Toro.

I visited Great Adventure in late July and Kingda Ka broke down three times while I was strapped in on the front row, ready to go. Still got 7 rides in two days, but I sure wanted more. El Toro was open. Medusa was not.

As of right now El Toro is open but Kingda Ka shows to be closed. Hopefully by tomorrow it reopens. Trust me, you're going to love it there. Make sure you don't skip Zumanjaro and Nitro.
i was there last saturday and the only thing that was closed was kingda ka from like 4 til 6
Least they play that sweet Kingda Ka music while you get your locker! So it's the brake fin sensors that cause most of the issues?

Happened to be there on August 28th, Toro was running smooth in the morning at opening but when we did a ride mid afternoon it was running pretty fast and rough.

The people in front of us board the train and we are next up. The train dispatches.
The train that we would be on, coming into the station was moving very slowly and around 2 minutes later, the train that had just dispatched rolled backwards into the station, it hadn’t even launched.
They announce that kingdaka was experiencing technical difficulties and all of the people who were on the train before us get back in the front of the line
My friend and I decide to wait because we were at the front of the line and had a locker
10 minutes later everything is fixed and we get on the ride

I didn’t know those sneakers protected your nuts on green lantern. I don’t think green lantern is a bad ride. The layout is good but if you try to block out it being uncomfortable then it’s decent.

Rookie Racer is open. Nothing special but I like the restraints. Batman and American Thunder were running 2 trains but the Batman ops were horrid like 4 minute dispatches because of the random bag policy requiring lockers on that ride but no others. Seriously, a B&M invert is the easiest ride for loose article storage because it's quick to walk through and drop stuff off in bins but they got rid of them to...make money I guess? Most people seemed to elect to just make someone not ride and hold stuff, rather than pay for a locker.
Surprisingly I rode green lantern front row on a slow day not even full train and that thing was running good, no trims and the end was amazing.
Maybe I don't like green lantern because I haven't been wearing vessi's? I mean, I like stand up coasters, so idk about that SuperVinlin
Maybe I am too serious. El Toro was not ridable two weeks ago and you'd be very sad; it literally went from my top ten list to never ride again. Green Lantern should be renamed Muhammed Ali the ride. Best experience surprisingly was Jersey Devil, maybe it's because I wear New Balance high tops.

Six flags looks like the ryanair of the theme park industry, but somehow they build some of the best rides, it's just a shame you have to deal with such a shitty company and shitty parks to get to the rides
