I'll never use this, but I downloaded the video then slowed it down and followed along with an image of my own. I tried it on a snowy scene and it produced very lifelike blown snow.
Or saved like literally $100 a month. Just some Photoshop and just use gimp and get a realistic ring. Texture work better yet use blender or unreal [both free applications that are quickly becoming industry standards (actually unreal is already an industry standard in a lot of industries)] have your images of playing and actually simulate the rain. In like a year you could buy yourself a computer with the amount of money that you would be saving on buying photoshop, why people still use photoshop and autodesk products when there is significantly better free alternatives confuses me to no end
What about the water bouncing off the ground and ripples on the water on the floor. Why is she holding the umbrella in the wrong direction and yet completely dry.
Photoshop is the most user unfriendly program. 9 thousand steps to create rain that looks horrible…. Is there ever gonna be a better option than adobes subscription based crap?
That’s called skill and not all programs make everything automatically to give the user control. if you want to make something but don’t want to work, just use ai
insane... so cool to me when you can actually produce pixels rather than using .pngs, such a great tip
What are PNG’s? Pixels 😂
@@WanderFeetChronicles yeah premade pixels, you know what i meant lol

Very good tip! You should make the rain come from the right, so the umbrella will protect the model. 😁
Oh yeaa I didn't realize
the question is - why was she wearing an umbrella if there was no rain? was it photoshopped in the first place?? *I NEED ANSWERS*
@@cheescak it rained I think. Like look at the floor
This is some real "trust the process" content.
It really came out well.
It won't look realistic until the girl holds umbrella in correct direction 😅
True
facts
Touche...
Love how you go one step beyond what others suggest, then do that again again till you get something awesome like this!
Muy bien hecho. La mejor y más fácil forma de crear lluvia. Cada día me sorprendes más con tus técnicas
Depth effect was incredible 👍👍👍

Very outside the box thinking. I really like this method of making rain.
Last tip was insane. You are genius ❤
This is absolutely amazing and wonderful skill to have.... Thanks
Damn, finally a proper photoshop tutorial on youtube
Wow amazing stuff
It's just that... If I saw this picture, I'll think that the lady don't know how to use an umbrella.
Finally someone using the threshold filter on PS.
i like watching these even though i dont even use photoshop
You are the best, mate. Thanks.
very cool! i’m never going to need this but i’m saving it anyway lmao
Wow that's a great tip
Wow
Fantastic sir
Really cool
Thank you, NET!
This is how you know someone understand Photoshop inside out
Cool
Noice editing
I just wait for real rain. No rain, no gain.
Love this
so cool
💛
This guys a big fan of the path blur
And when you use smart object conversion you can always change the effects afterward
Great tip
Oo Nice
The permutations you can make with all those dropdown menus are endless. What is the logic behind choosing the correct ones in the correct sequence?
UR the best, JR
Amazing
ASOMBROSO
Thank you chief
Looks more like snow than rain
Nice bro

💥👍👍
Nice, but I think the direction of the rain should be reverse. Good tutorial
Crazyyy
dog hair! the weather in the west is insane!
So cool even though I don’t have access to the software and l really just want to know how to put words on a video
Instead you can use rain png 🙃
Tears really neat, but I’ll stick to using actual rain lol
Use “this” step he says! That’s a lot of steps.
Nice, but maybe explain a bit slower.
👍
He had me at, do not use the first setting. I really don’t know photoshop at all. Loool
Most people would aim their umbrella at the rain

Saving this for later
¿How do you save Shorts? It seems to be impossible for me to save it inside the app.
@@Migdalis I normally just copy paste the link into a notepad because idk how to do it either
I usually go to my history. You can add shorts to playlists from there.
@@Fatemeh_ST This is gold! Thanks for sharing!
@@messiboy3358 thanks for the tip! 🤗
Looks cool but the rain this coming from the opposite direction the dude is holding the umbrella, they would of 100% gotten soaked
Looks more like snow and you should really take the umbrella for account because now it's just raining on the lady
The noise
add pumpin hot stuff from pizza tower
This is why I cannot learn photoshop. So many steps to remember.
You made one mistake, women holding her umbrella in the wrong way.
But given the way she's holding the umbrella shouldn't the rain come from the other direction?
What about the water bouncing off the ground and ripples on the water on the floor. Why is she holding the umbrella in the wrong direction and yet completely dry.
I didn't even know there's something called image effect..!!
Rain is falling the wrong direction for the way she is holding the umbrella
My method is the drench my screen in water, take a photo, and boom! Done!
is there a shorter quicker way to do this?
Yeah go out and photograph rain, you can capture this with a long tele lens at about 1/10th of a second. Is that fast enough for you?
take the picture in the rain
Dude did 50 different steps and I could of been done in 1
and it still looks fake
Step 1. Go out when it's raining. Step 2. Find a pleasing situation. Step. 3 Raise camera to the eye. Step 4. Press the shutter button. DONE.
So sad you can’t save shorts😅
How long until we find a video where he doesn’t say “create a new layer”
This is the Photoshop tutorial equivalent of the "Delete Default Cube" step of the Blender tutorials.
Rain in 183 clicks.
The "3 click" metric sucks. Using more clicks is better than having a massive unintuitive menu with every possible effect
Bro teaches us more than school💀💀💀
Direction of rain vs how the umbrella is held is all sorts of wrong no?
Depends if she wants to get wet
Rain is not coming down from the right direction.
Why each and every tutorial of photoshop and other applications all of the tutors use girls pictures to demonstrate the lectures?
sin la lluvia queda mejor

Shes holding the umbrella in the opposite direction. It is unrealistic.
spent 20 minutes for slightly better image.
💀
Isn't it quicker just to wait until it's raining?!
No?
@@your_-_mom it was a little joke. Why so serious?
Don't do the easy, good looking thing! Go through all this tedious crap to come up with something that looks like your kid crayoned it.
why seems exactly copy of my tut, 😂
Bruh
Or maybe just create a preset and give it away?
some people want to make customized rain depending on the picture
Damn this look complex
Or just wait until it rains and take the friggin Picture than... 😒
So simply every photoshop video start with create a fu*ckin new layer....
You make the tutorial more complex. Is it to make profit?
What?? This is the most realistic self-made rain effect tutorial in the straight and quickest explain possible
How to add realistic rain to your photos in only 2,493 easy steps !!!
Am I the only one that doesn't know how to use photoshop ?
Looks like so, because this video explained it quite well, simple steps, didn't missed anything
Still looks fake cause there holding the umbrella the wrong way
Would rather use some AI with one command: "Make rain"
I'd rather have skill to do something like this myself than rely on an AI and remain being a useless replaceable human like you
Bro it's just not looking realistic😂
Can u tell me what the name of this app ?
It looks terrible.
Nicht der Inhalt sondern das Viseo ist so ätzend schlecht. - schnell - schneller - Bullshit -
1000 steps for something so little. Photo shop.. do better🥴
Counting is quite hard for you, right?
