He made a good point at the beginning. Sure the legacy cars (32, 33, 34) can make north of 1k HP, but they aren't necessarily the most friendly to live with. lumpy idles, stiff clutches, and the like. The 35 has a smooth idle, a.c. blowing, and is really mild mannered until you get in it. A true "grandma drove it to church on sunday" type of car. Definitely love the older ones, but to me that quality of the 35 is its biggest appeal, exhaust sound comparison aside.
All that Alcantara reupholstered into the interior really looks great, along with the stock steering wheel re wrapped to match with a centerline just makes it thoroughly proper. Imo the stock interior is massively lacking in quality materials especially for the price tag at the dealer. The first gen R35's started at $70,000usd. I thought that was reasonable for aV6tt dual clutch transaxled chassis. In the U.S. an R35 built nowadays with 1,000whp is run of the mill and just a bolt on AMS Alpha kit, a Cobb Accessport, big Injector Dynamics injectors and E85 fuel away with a staged built Sheptrans GR6 trans with both clutch baskets upgraded to Dodson billet with Exedy plates or equivalents to hold the power and put it to the tarmac via a set of T1 Performance Belak beadlocks clamping Hoosier racing slicks all around if running the quarter. Your guys in country down at Willal are not only pushing the available tech parts for the R35 but also have finally solved the case flex, distortion, and oiling channels the have plagued the STi EJ257 to everyone trying to actually get some real high whp down to the ground. Their gold billet blocks are the key to a lot of doors. GREAT CAR GUYS!

good stuff the r35 isn't my favorite either but this changes my view on them a bit
also is this thing gonna be at the gtr festival?
The R32's will always be the driver's car. Sure the R35 is fast but the R32 will always give you more of an experience.
Andrew R34>R32
Sure I'd buy an R34 over and R32 but the R32 is the rawest of them all.
that white R32 is just pure violence
nah mate she's stock just some pod filters
Chris, how many people have driven your car by the way? "You are the first!" well lets just roll on in 2nd at 3 grand, watch this!!!

These videos are awesome but they would be awesomer if they has acceleration stats, that stuff is interesting af... :)
Amen, just Amen :)
I know the owner and the car personally, the car is actually pushing 1300hp at the motor
Man wish i knew a car personally
👍🏻 Some outside shots would make all your test drives even better than they are sir 😉
Tom Kaos (Official) agreed. Quick drives are usually quite spontaneous. Literally walked past Chris and he said take it for a drive
Owner looked very nervous in the passenger seat, didn't really look like he was enjoying himself
Cmon altcoins fucking moon already!!!!
Need more outside shots
Plenty coming in Motive DVD #30
The R32 still sounds better😉
Boosted & Built Garage love mine! :D
What would that run 1/4 mile
Omran Barakat depending on tyre but in the 9s at 155-160mph no sweat
With Sequential Gearbox is be best full torque.
huh?
damn
gtr r35
l2whitebalance
crd no1
Low boost and tc on = not fun enough
TC was off. And was on over 30psi
What? spinning all four wheels is now considered low boost? Go back to playing your video games.
JoeyandLindsay correction ,we play video games and race/time attack street driven r35's
meh 1000hp r35 8yrs ago was impressive now its 2500hp
that's american horsepower though ;)
Bahahaha
Liemciemdk89 do you even have a car
Beautiful car sounds shite though
yea the VR38's are not the best sounding aye. I love the RB26's from the R34 GTR's tho...
How did I know you'd comment on this!
R34 will always shit on the R35, manual gearbox vs BS slap shifter
