I used to wear leather trousers, nothing better once worn in. Great in summer btw as they breath as a natural product, but in recent years textiles have become much more practical. That and the fact that I no longer circulate in the S&M community anymore......

Just wondered why the reviews are no longer hands-on? The product being modelled isn’t touched or opened to give us a better view. Talk of a lining, it’s not shown, none of the pockets or zips are opened or shown. The last few videos have been the same, it’s about as good as looking at a photo.

Does the knee have any concertina effect, to add comfort when bent? The reason my biker jeans were uncomfortable was because there was no give in the knee, so knee pressing hard against armour was painful after a longer ride.

Hi! Yes it has, a lot of manufacturer started to use a new generation of armour which is much more flexible and comfortable. - Iza

@@UrbanRiderlondon Thanks. I have tried the modern flexible armour, but I still find that the jeans themselves (kevlar lined denim in my case) need the stretch too or they still press the armour into the knee. Not a problem for short rides, but painful after a while.

In the first close up of the knee you can see the stitching starting to stretch. That will spit real quickly.

These look horrible. Nothing against leather, but these are as bad as I've seen.

Eye of the beholder and all that. I like the look of them.
