If the temples in Tamil Nadu can't afford to keep it open, then what we need is for Hindus to fight for the liberation of temples from the clutches of the States. I have not seen any movement, not even a protest against States looting Temple funds. When you have the Government out of the temples, then you will have plenty of money for temple activities.

I do still think we need to break away from caste, it is violent, oppressive and systematically causes harm. Why do people still want to hold on to their caste identities? Isn't spiritual progress about seeing beyond all that and seeing everyone as a part of the infinite one? We should all drop caste names, and focus on undoing our privileges to give to the greater good.
There are still plenty of practices in Hinduism that are antithetical to the core concept that we are all one. We should drop all identities, and not get swayed by fear mongering. There is nothing dharmic about a government that goes around spreading hate about any group of people.
Sanatan Dharma unfortunately is also tied into the caste system. It has also been used to propagate fundamentalism. And people who claim to be kalachaara kaavalar are basically using it to lynch muslims, dalits and oppress women. Anyone talking about Sanatana Dharma needs to vehemently oppose these practices, because it has all these tags tied to it.
If we are all from the same source, then people across castes and religions and genders -- are all divine, are they not?
Hinduism needs a revival that is humanity oriented. Not identity oriented. I hope you understand. Let's not focus on our "identity" as Hindus or that this is "our" culture. The more we tie in to the victimhood mindset of "oh Hindus are oppressed" - the more we foster the same nonsense of identity based politics. Truth be told, TN has the most temples. India also has plenty of temples. The entire world has temples springing up everywhere Hindus go. Hindus are there across the world in powerful positions, including the White House. Please. Let's stop the fearmongering.
We basically sat by and watched as an angry Hindu mob demolished a mosque and then now we allowed them to build a temple on top of it. This is exactly textbook divide and rule. Hindus are not oppressed. This was, in my opinion, a maha paap. God is everywhere, a mosque would have been just as valuable as an energy carrier. We just wanted the space to be "hindu" which is super stupid. Did you know the term "hindu" was an identity created by the British?
Anyway, this is my only humble request. I have seen your videos and I know your intent. But please be aware of how you are messaging things. By inducing fear, you are contributing to bringing down people's vibration, tightly binding them to their egoic identity as a "hindu". Which is not what Agathiyar would have wanted.

Thank you for reminding us about your upcoming documentary on the great sage agastya muni. I am really looking forward to it because in many ways, he was the ultimate sage. Others may not know much about him, but those who follow sadhguru certainly do because sadhguru gives a great significance to agastya muni.
It is because of this significance that I visited the agastya muni town on my char dham pilgrimage few years back because it came on the way.
And those who are demeaning your work will certainly be an people with agenda. They are not innocents. The neutral people have no business opposing your work.
I can only wish you all the best for your documentary on agastya muni. Just do your work and leave the rest to god, as Krishna says in Gita.
I do have one curiosity that there may be different sapta rishis for different manvantaras because many temples or scriptures have no mention of agastya muni as sapta rishis but he is clearly mentioned in Ramayana.

It was only yesterday evening, when i was at Uttara Swami Malai, the famous Sri Murugan temple in Delhi, that i was thinking about this Greatest of all Munis and today, i chance upon your announcement, about wanting to make a series on the Great Agastya Muni !!!! What a coincidence !!!!
While relaxing at the beautiful lower praharam, after the climb and parikrama, for i was not inclined to go away immediately, I was suddenly wondering why this Divine Child of Sri Parvati Parameswara is a forgotten entity for most northerners. They all recognise Sri Ganesha but not Sri Kartikeya.
And it led me to thinking about Agastya Muni. So the same thing can be said about this Great Muni - He too is a forgotten entity for most North Indians. And i thought of how this came about. Maybe it is the aftermath of ONLY Agastya being requested to go south during Sri Siva & Ma Parvati's marriage. There is this legend of how the Earth titled/dipped towards the north due to the concentrated weight at that place, of the excessive crowd of Devas, Rishis and other Divinities that had gathered to attend the divine marriage. To restore the balance, Sri Siva requested Agastya Muni, to move south, with an injunction that he should not return to the northern side anymore. For, as Siva Siva reasoned, it was his weight, on its own, which was equal to all the rest put together. Here, i feel, Sri Siva was not referring to any physical weight but to weight of the Muni's achievements. Such was the supremacy of this stalwart amongst the giants of rishis and munis. So, as the story goes, a reluctant Agastya Muni, sad at not being able to attend the marriage of his priya devatas, went off towards the south, not to return to the north anymore. The Earth's balance was restored and the marriage took place.
So, maybe, i thought, this indicates how Agastya Muni became a southern saint only. This Muni, who was there with Sri Rama at Ayodhya, during Sri Rama's Pattabhishekam, is now a forgotten entity in the North India.
And his influence is not restricted to just South India. I will say, South East Asia all over, shows many signs of his influence, where many small Agastya statues have been found scattered.
So thanks for this initiative and i look forward to this series 🙏
