However, in this case, it’s an example where this live version is by far the best version of this song they’ve done yet! • It’s so good, that ever since I found this clip, I’ve been coming back to it again n again to hear it, it’s that good! • I grew up in the 80s, was in prep school when this song was played every 2 mins ! It was awesome then and it’s better here!
This is amazing!! Neil Tennant's voice sounds exactly like in 1984, as if he didn't age a bit. And while i love the album version, this performance has got such an incredible smoothness, oh my god! Guitar and percussion are doing a wonderful job here... This is definitely my new favourite version of this song.
I hate to disappoint you but I’m fairly certain they do, not that that’s a criticism. Nothing wrong with backing tracks as long as it sounds good and this sounds GREAT
