Noice thank you for the sub. I have been working on this one for almost a year but have been designing a lot of other 3D printed systems for 3 years before this. Eventually I should be able to incorporate this version into my original siphon sluice designs I was working on before.
It seems to help trap the finer gold in the bottom of the trap. I think some miners moss would be a lot better to use but all I had was that screen for testing. I am still working on the bottom of the trap so I will be trying different designs but I should have it ready to send out pretty soon hopefully.
@@dirtypawsgoldadventures I am currently fine tuning it to run 8 mesh and that will probably be the max. So far I am processing ~2 gallons ( about 22 pounds) of material in 10 minutes, the first runs should catch about 90% of the gold and the second run usually catches the other 8-10%.

I’ve got some 1/2” moss lying around I’ll try that. Anything to slow the gold down should help
