Hi David! Thanks for your videos! I don’t sell, j just freeze dry fit my family. I want to try these candies. After I put them in the Mylar bags of paper bags with the windows do you heat seal the bag and that’s it? How long would u say candy will last like that?
I enjoyed this video and my kids will do this for their upcoming "Children's Entrepreneur Market". I would love to see a quick display of the finished product in their bags at the end of your videos. That would also be helpful and instructional. Thanks for the video.
Hey David ! I have a couple questions regarding what other options I can find to sell my product through the slower market times - where else can I reach out to how can I get out there and hustle my bustle to keep my business going through the slow times.
I love your videos man! Always so much info. I couldn’t help but notice that you put on gloves to cut candies, but then touch with bare hands afterwards?
I use the gloves so that I can work more efficiently and not have to continually wash the sticky sugar residue off while preparing candy. As long as you wash your hands, you can touch the food. In addition, this was a test run in my garage so I don't use any of that product for retail.
I'm trying to decide which freeze dryer to buy, stay fresh or harvest right? I plan on mainly using it to preserve the food that I grow. But also I want to start a small business and go to the local markets to sell candies and fruits. I know you had mentioned you might do a video on How you like? Stay fresh and I was just wondering if you would have a suggestion for my use
Do you prefer one machine over the other? I recently bought the large Harvest Right and it is already having issues after 4 batches. It no longer freezes. Makes me wonder if I am going to regret this purchase.
It’s not freezing? You are still under warranty so make sure to download the files with a usb from the side of your freeze dryer and get a support ticket into HR. They will see what’s wrong and get you squared away.
three peeps usually fit in my bags so I charge $8 for those. I've also cut the peeps prior to freeze drying into little pieces and then freeze dry. That way I can fit more into my bags.
i have actually put them in my fd in those little packets, I punched a pin hole in each bag. the work pretty good just to have around and throw in a lunch box or hand out to friends.
Something like this would be great, maybe a little longer based on the length of the XL: amzn.to/3ETWS2s This is stainless steel so it's good for a future commercial kitchen and easy to maintain.
Thank you so much for this on the harvest Wright would you do this Halloween candy warm tray at all? Or skip that

I bought a Blue Alpine and love it! They have recipes already programed into it.
Do you have a video or any advice on freeze drying mini Oreo cookies?
Not sure that Oreos would do much in the Freeze dryer

What stand or table do you recommend for a Harvest Right XL?

Thank you so much! I LOVE your RUclips!
Can you freeze dry jelly beans?
No, haven't seen them work
i just noticed that your shirt says Boise.
Boy-See!
I live in Boise Idaho. It’s great to see a fellow Boisein. I would love to see your set up someday.
Do you warm trays?
Not on these candies, I just did a video on starbursts and that is one that you would need to warm the trays
Do you skip the freezing cycle of it since you’re just using the heat and vacuum?
The machine does that for you if you select candy mode.
pero porfavor tiempo, cuantos grados, si le das skip o no, video paso a paso
