If I were in charge of this series, it wouldn't be Godzilla meets Sesame Street. I'd write it as an edutainment series teaching life lessons in a subtle manner, while also having monster-on-monster action. The story: Godzilla and his friends Anguirus, Rodan, Baragon, Gojirin, and Varan are mentored by Mothra, King Caesar, and Gorosaurus as the Defenders of Godzilland, fighting evil monsters such as King Ghidorah, Gigan, Megalon, Mechagodzilla, Battra (depicted as Mothra's estranged brother), Ebirah, Kumonga, Kamacurus, Maguma, Dogora, Gaira, Frankensten (who has it out for Baragon), Biollante, Orga, Zilla, Destoroyah, Megaguirus (Rodan's mortal enemy), Monster X/Keizer Ghidorah, Gabara (Godzilla's childhood bully), and their leader, Spacegodzilla. Assisting them along the way are Sanda, Titanosaurus (who has the unfortunate tendancy of getting brainwashed to fight his friends), Mechagodzilla II, MOGUERA, Mecha-King Ghidorah, Kiryu (who is actually Godzilla's long-lost father, rebuilt as a cyborg by the Japanese government), and Jet Jaguar.
