I have never seen blueberry trees about all we ever get up north is blueberry bushes. Our wild blueberries are even really close to the ground. I live in Minnesota. When we pick the wild ones we do it before 10 am mostly to avoid the deer flies which bite really hard. I could easily spend a lot of time picking those blueberries. Lovely big blueberries! :)

I got four blueberry plants for Mothera day. They’re small but already have a few berries in them. I can’t wait until they’re larger. Until then a man down the row has a whole orchard of them and we pick his for about 14$ for an ice cream bucket full. I think that’s a good price?

At least they fall off easy. I bet your customers are very happy. They are so big. I've never seen them so big. Y'all are blessed with those trees. I liked watching Wanda bag them. I'm still amazed everytime you show your blueberry trees. It must be a lot of work making sure you are a good steward of what YHWH has blessed you with. This week I was scouting out several areas that I harvest ginseng from for many years. In an average year I'll harvest several hundred 3 prong roots (out of about 4 times as many that I could harvest) and about 100 - 4 prong roots and half a dozen man-roots. On average for 4 hours a day (mornings) for 2 to 3 weeks I'll net about $5000.00 profit (selling 2 thirds) great work when I can get it. My point is, that I'm always doing things to insure future harvests as it takes 10 to 12 years of very slow growth to get the smallest of roots, 20 years for the 4 prong roots and more than 30 years to grow man-roots (where the big money and best medicine is gotten). Being a good steward of this resource is a job and a half. Seeds need are carefully replanted and from all the ginseng I find, even those I don't harvest I have to cut off all the leaves hiding their location until the following year. Leaves from 3 prong and up are used to make several much weaker forms of medicinal teas and powders. This year and hopefully next I'm training a son to take over for me when I'm no longer able to do it. The demand for ginseng is so much greater than the supply, but once greed enters the equation, the resource begins to diminish. I harvest many wild plants each year for a supplier that markets to extremely ill people, some for charity, but most are cancer patients, let's face facts, cancer care to most Americans stinks and some treatment should be considered a crime.
Danny, I pray you have many years of good health, but I will bring up hidden treasure in the Bible that we are to pass onto the next generation knowledge, skills and resources. A truly blessed man has many children and other family members to give these things to. Are you like minded and concerned about passing things on to someone???

Keith S we have blueberries, coming on strong. I suggest putting net over your bushes. That’s what we do and it works great. Research on RUclips. There’s so much good and helpful information these days. I just know that birds are the biggest problem with our blueberries and the netting is essential. Good luck and God bless your harvest 😀
