Always love watching fathers teach their sons trades and skills that they will care with them for the rest of their lives, 🙏 hope you and yours are well
Impressive. Thank you for the video. My goal for 2020 is to have more blueberry plants and varieties. Your son’s reactions is hilarious, especially to the pepper tasting. Worth watching the video just for that. Happy gardening.
Haha...yes it is!! Your timing is perfect, the berries are just becoming ripe and more videos to follow. Its been a while since i looked at this video i wonder why all the "THUMBS DOWN"?? really a gardening video lol...oh well
awesome video, loved seeing your varieties of blueberries, i recently picked up a sharpblue, o neal, and bountiful blue, thinking about picking up a couple other ones, what would you recommend? also keep up the update videos on them if you can, would love to see how theyre doing
will do this in a few months.. just did not get enough berries on ALL varieties to be comfortable in accuracy. learned blueberries do produce until a couple years old...sorry it will be longer but we will do
Blueberries do AWESOME in pots...much easier to acidify the soil. These are synthetic half barrels (guessing about 15-20 gallons)... We did some taste tests on the grow, really nice flavor!!!
@@G.G.T. your blueberries are growing nicely. I’m a new gardener, just bought two varieties from a local small nursery. They are about a 5th of the size of yours but one is fruiting. How long did it take for yours to get that size?
Those look great. FYI Avocado trees get huge, at least all the ones in Long Beach CA all neighbors had then and mad production just picked them off the ground and enjoyed. In that small space I think I’d grow only dwarf. And a kid saying “shut up” at an adult.. sigh.. needs better manors
Most of these strains are dwarf or small in stature, the 3 that can get big are hass fuerte and mexicola. I plan to trim these guys no taller then 12" or so. easy to pick and easy to grow less water too. (I love avocados and they are getting crazy expensive and rarely grow in CA anymore) thanks for stopping by consider a sub, new videos have plums pluots and all kinds of stuff lol
Haha I just got done planting three types myself and read about how you help ADHD kids. Well I'm no kid but have very severe ADHD and maybe thats why I needed 3 different types 😀
Its been quite a while since i bought them at Costco, and I do not think they had a size stamped anywhere. On a guess i would bet about 25 gallon or so. I really like them and they are holding up great
