'These are they who have come out of the great tribulation.' (To "come out of something a person must go into it or be in it. So, this great tribulation must be persons who actually experience the great tribulation and come out of it as survivors.) ----Revelation 7:14.
True, but not to be confused as "persons" who rejected the gospel, pre-tribulation. It would be best to separate the two so as not to cause any confusion. As he said, there is NO SCRIPTURE that supports those who heard and rejected the Gospel or experienced God's salvation (in other words got saved or walked with Christ but then returned to a life of sin) will be saved during the tribulation. To miss the rapture, an event describes as happening in a "twinkle of an eye". Is frightening. "And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?" -1 Pet. 4:18
If you truly believe the rapture will happen in August, you need to prepare.
What about your pets?
If you dont feed or water them they will be locked in your homes and DiE a horrible death!

And on the topic of the mark of of the beast…some will say it will be a spiritual mark, others say a physical one. It will be both.
We live in a world where we humans need some form of a physical item like an ID, birth certificate, passport to prove who we are. We need a debit card, credit card, smart phone or watch to make transactions. Which is where the physical aspect comes into play…because in those last day, people will need to prove their loyalty to the beast in order to eat, buy and sell, rent and so on. That’s where a physical mark comes in.
In the spiritual realm…Satan and God already knows who on their side, they don’t need anything physical to prove it. In this world, You either have the spiritual mark of God (meaning not the physical mark of the beast) or the physical mark of the Beast…where you can prove your part of the system.
O me! A good study and debate is on order. I say this with deep respect.

Whether you are Pre- Tribulation or Post-Tribulation it won’t matter so much what you personally believe. That’s if you are ready regardless of when the Tribulation or Rapture comes. Just be ready because rest assured JESUS is coming back.

If you missed the rapture as well as the First Resurrection at the Last/7th Trumpet, you will be part of the second resurrection which is the eternal damnation whether you take the mark or not.

If you miss the rapture you will have to deny the Mark of the Beast , deny worshipping the Anti Christ and claim Jesus as your Savior, you will then shed your blood being beheaded....

Why do so many people keep saying things like God won't let His bride be abused before He comes? Apparently the apostles and the early church aren't part of the bride. Beaten, martyred. Oh, and if I remember correctly Jesus was the Lamb for sinners slain, but I guess that's not a detail of importance.
So true: one may scoff at their other teachings, but endurance to the end of the time of the end, when Jesus shall come again on the clouds of heaven to take us straight back to heaven, is also a key teaching of 7th day Adventism.
On the up side, it is understood that at a certain time when witnessing for the kingdom shall be completing its task in God's eyes, martyrdom shall longer benefit anyone as a witnessing tool and God himself will restrain the hand of violence.
In the book Great Controversy it also says that while swords raised to kill will fall like straws when facing outheld hands declaring faith in Jesus, other moments will be holy angels appearing as 'human' men of war to repel the aggression of that final attempt at lethal persecution.
Rev 13:15b 'raises' the threat, but God has promised to protect those who take refuge in Jesus.

@kacywhite for a long time I've said "it doesn't really matter bc it's not a salvation issue" but honestly I don't believe that anymore.
People are going to be so deceived, and many already are! If you don't believe you'll be here when the mark is put into place, then you won't be on guard against taking anything that comes along. I have heard many people scoffing "I can't believe people actually have a problem with taking a chip, they carry one around all the time anyway (talking about phones)" that was an actual conversation I overheard.
Professing Christians are malleable to taking the mark because they have been taught that we won't be here for it.

Very interesting brother and esteemed Dr.Bernard avoids this text and Marks text in chapter 13 and Paul's text in 2 Thess. ❓ He's read these texts but is really scared of Jesus 's emphatic logical prophecy and timeline. My guess as to why? Just like the trinity, church traditions that don't square with scripture removes those troublesome texts from all discussions and must be avoided at ALL cost.

Answer is, we're all saved after the tribulation according to Jesus in Matt 24 and Mark 13 and Revelation 7:9-17, 11:15-19, 13:1-10, 14:9-13, 16:13-16, still with me❓ Same story told in different ways. Here's the rapture and marriage supper again Revelation 19:7-19.

Regardless of one's stand on the timing of the Rapture, if you refuse to, or say for whatever reason/excuse that you cannot get saved and serve Jesus in the here and now, when there is little to no persecution, what makes you believe that you can or would do so during the Great Tribulation?
If that were the case, then why does the book of Revelation provide a warning about the mark of the beast? and who are the 2 witnesses and 144k witnessing to?
People aren't serving Jesus because they *aren't* being persecuted. For the person who isn't a believer, his or her unbelief is the reason for not serving Jesus. So if that person suddenly has a 'road to Damascus' moment/a light bulb goes off *after* the Rapture, then, like Paul, they very well may be willing to die for Jesus' sake.
We have 144000 jews going out to witness plus the two in Israel ,and it tells you clearly people will get saved during the tribulation they are called the elect and are under the alter crying how long Lord plus they get beheaded for their faith and are called friends of the bridegroom and are invited to the wedding feast of the bridegroom ( jesus) and the bride( the church)

The only way to make sure you are raptured is to put your full faith and trust in His atoning blood for redemption - NOT by any of your own works. Our works are garbage - if they could save us, we would not have need for a saviour. The Gospel:1Cor.15:1-4.
Not only Jews will have that chance, Gentiles will also. But the best thing is to be saved and ready at any given moment, we have no guarantee of tomorrow or another breath for that matter. Jesus Christ loves us all and wants no one to go to hell.

To be raptured you must be washed in the precious blood of Christ, not by your own works. The Gospel of salvation for this dispensation is found in 1Cor.15:1-4.

I was listening for a comment towards if gentiles will be saved. The great multitude described in Revelation 7:9-17 is, "...of all nations, kindreds, and people, and tongues..." this suggests Jews as well as gentiles
Jews, not Israel. There is a difference. Jews are decendants of Abraham. Israel is The 12 Tribes.
God's people are Jews and Gentiles believers are Spiritual Israelites of God 💯🙏not literal Israel.

As a young saved Christian in the early 90s, I was taught of pre tribulation rapture but in early 2000, the Lord began to open my eyes more to the end time.
According to Matthew chapter 25,, the 5 virgins that do not have enough oil in their lamps who went to get more oil and when they came back, the Bridegroom had come and entered with the other 5 virgins whose lamps were still on light and the door shut. It was not said that the door was opened for the 5 virgins that went to get more oil. The coming of the Bridegroom is the Rapture and it showed by Jesus Himself through the parable that once Rapture has occurred, no more salvation again. This nullify the pre tribulation view that people will be saved after the rapture which occurs before the Great Tribulation.
I always ask people, if the view of pre tribulation is correct, will there now be second class people in heaven because we two sets of people getting to heaven through two batches.
By my understanding of the scripture, the 7 years contain two events: the Great Tribulation and the dreadful day of the LORD. It is the rapture that end the Great Tribulation and as soon as the rapture occurs, the dreadful day of the LORD will begin to complete the 7 years during which God will judge the people that have taken the mark of the beast upon the Earth. The sun will become darkened, the stars will fall from heaven. Therefore, the rapture will occur at the end of the Great Tribulation which is less than 7 years. Then the rapture saints will go to Heaven for the Marriage of the Lamb.
The great tribulation is simultaneous with the day of the Lord. Satan is pouring out his wrath and so is God in the tribulation. Be prepared to go THROUGH the tribulation. Not escape it. The pre trib rapture is false teaching. EDURE like a good solider. Be faithful unto death and you will receive the crown of life. You know those verses? The resurrection/rapture is in Rev 20:4 which is obviously post trib. Wake up church. 2Tim 2:15
@@willpower6720 I agree with most of your points but only that the great tribulation and the dreadful day of the LORD are same. They are different. Jesus said in Matthew 24 29 that:
"Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened and the moon shall not give her light and the stars shall fall from heaven and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken".
The event mentioned by Jesus above is the launch of the dreadful day of the LORD which Jesus said will occur after the Great Tribulation.
During the Great Tribulation, the devil will persecute the church greatly and at the end of the Great Tribulation of less than 7 years as reveals in Daniel 12:12, that blessed are they that wait till 1335 days from the time the daily sacrifice is taken away and daily sacrifice shall be taken away in the middle of the first year, then the rapture shall occur. The same word blessed are used in Revelation 19:9 as those that made it to the marriage of the Lamb are called blessed and the marriage of the Lamb occurs after the rapture saints are taken to heaven. Also Revelation 20:6 called those that shall have part in the first resurrection blessed and the first resurrection is the rapture. Since it is scripture that can be used to interpret scripture, then those saints referred to in Daniel 12:12 are the rapture saints.
According to Daniel 8:13-14, the timing between when the daily sacrifice shall be taken away till the sanctuary is cleansed shall be 2300 days. The sanctuary shall be cleansed at the second coming of Jesus. The bible uses lunar calendar which is 29 and half days per month. Dividing 2300 by 30 days shall give about 6 years and 5 month. The antichrist will end the daily sacrifice in the midst of the first year which Daniel 9:27 refers to in the midst of the one (first) week, mind you at the beginning in verse 2, 70 years was being referred to, so the weeks later used in the last part of the chapter is prophetically years. Middle of a year is 5 to 7 months when the daily sacrifice shall be taken away from the start of the Great Tribulation. Then adding 7 months to 6 years and 5 months makes it 7 years from the start of the Great Tribulation to the second coming of Jesus but the rapture will occur about 1335 days from the time the daily sacrifice is taken away. Then the remaining days to complete the 7 years shall be the dreadful day of the LORD when God shall release His judgement upon the Earth since the saints have been taken away from the Earth during the rapture, so those left ate evil people as it was with Sodom and Gomorrah after Lot with his family left the city and Noah with his families and chosen animals entered into the ark.

@@stehaniemul9288 whenever God delivers His people, judgement always follow. When the children of Israel were liberated from Egypt, the pharaoh and his hosts were as well judged. Fire goes before the glory of God.
The old testament is a shadow of the new testament. The rapture is symbolically represented in the old testament. Let me illustrate it with two examples only:
1. When Lot and his family were taken out of Sodom and Gomorrah, instantly the judgment of God was released upon Sodom and Gomorrah because the people left there are evil. The judgment could not come upon Sodom and Gomorrah because of Lot with his family still there but when they were taken out, the judgment instantly came upon Sodom and Gomorrah. The judgment of God could not come upon the people on the Earth now because of the children of God still upon the Earth but when the saints are rapture, then the judgment of God will immediately begin upon the Earth which is called the dreadful day of the LORD. The coming out of Lot with his family is symbolism of the rapture of the saints.
2. As soon as Noah, his family and the chosen animals entered into the ark, the judgment of God began upon the people on the Earth. The going in of Noah with his family into the ark is symbolism of the rapture and the judgment through the flood that destroyed the wicked is the symbolism of the dreadful day of the LORD.
The rapture of the saints is God glorifying Himself upon the Earth and whenever He glorify Himself, judgement also follows. As the rapture of saints occurs, the people left upon the Earth are evil people who has taken the mark of the beast, so the judgment of God shall be released upon them which is the dreadful day of the LORD when the star and the moon shall fall and the sun withhold its shinning. The dreadful day of the LORD was revealed in Revelation chapters 8,9, 16, 17, 18.
"Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD" Malachi 4:5 KJV
The first coming of Jesus was preceded by John the Baptist who came in the spirit of Elijah to prepare the way for the Lord. So, also, the second coming of Jesus shall be prepared by a great revival to prepare the way of the Lord. This is reveled in Revelation chapter 11, the two witnesses who shall come in the spirit of Elijah and Moses or maybe a servant of God under the anointing on Moses and Elijah, the double portion of anointing. The whole world is waiting for a great revival, called the last revival, the outpouring of the latter rain upon the church. The whole world is waiting for the Ernest manifestations of the sons of God. This last revival will perfect and unite the church because Jesus is coming for a perfect church (Ephesians 4:11-13), a united Church (John 17:20-21), a church without blemish (Ephesians 5:27). It is not the rapture that the church awaits now but the release of the latter rain.
Joel 2:23 mentioned two rains: the former rain and the latter rain. The former rain came on the day of Pentecost. The latter rain shall come upon the Church this end time to perfect the church. Let us wait in the spiritual upper room for the release of the latter rain upon us, the end time church.
@@stehaniemul9288 As soon as the rapture occurs, the rapture saints will move to heaven for the marriage of the Lamb while the remaining people left on the Earth who missed the rapture because they have taken the mark of the beast shall face the dreadful day of the LORD. Both the Marriage of the Lamb and the dreadful day of the LORD shall occur simultaneously but at different locations. The Marriage of the Lamb occurs in heaven while the dreadful day of the Lord occurs on Earth. At the end of both events, is the second coming of Jesus when Jesus shall return to the Earth with the rapture saints who went through the Marriage of the Lamb. According to the book of Zechariah and Acts chapter 1, Jesus shall return back on Mount Olive and as His feet touches the mount, it will split into two forming a great valley, a city, called the Millennium city. The saints that returned with Jesus shall live in this Millennium city while the wicked people on the Earth when Jesus returns shall live outside the Millennium city. Then after 1000 years, the devil who was held in a bottomless pit during the Millennium reign shall be released and he will gather the wicked people who live outside the Millennium city for war against Jesus and the saints, in the war of Armageddon. The devil shall be caught and thrown into the lake of fire. Then the judgment day shall be when the evil dead shall rise up and those evil people that fought in the war of Armageddon shall be cast into the lake of fire. Then the New Heaven and the New Earth shall be formed and the saints shall live there forever. The New Heaven and the New Earth is the restored garden of Eden which is on the Earth and we shall live there forever as God had purposed for Adam and Eve at the beginning.
The famous rapture teaching is based on misinterpreting 1 Thessalonian 15to 17 if you look at its context it says the coming of Jesus as a result we will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. The coming of Jesus Christ is a single event not like the rapture teaching that it is a separate event.

Any idea of time continuing afterwards is in Dan 9:27. That 7 years or last week of the 70 given to the Jews applies better to Jesus' ministry, from his baptism till the stoning of Stephen 7 years later. Thus the gospel formally went to the gentiles. No prophetic time from those 70 weeks available today, let alone for time to continue after the bridegroom has come and gone in to the wedding with those who were ready for him.
No one ought to miss the day of salvation, today. That book The Great Controversy illustrates Jesus' Return and why he thus ends earth's sinful history. Enduring to the end for the sake of Jesus is the theme of that book.
In the 70 weeks of Daniel the 69 week is already fullfilled. Daniel 9 : 27 the last week is yet to be fulfilled to make it 70 weeks

I am also in agreement with Bro. Bernard on this but I have had the Lord point out something out in scripture to me about this. If you read where all the vials, trumpets, and seal were opened or poured out at the end of the discourse about them it says that "they repented not". This indicates to me that if mankind as a whole would repent and turn to God that there would be some kind of mercy God would extend. But again it says They Repented Not.

Many times I've heard preachers contradicting each other, while "amen-ing" at the same time.I know, because I once was in that organization, for many years. I didn't agree with the pastor about the pre-trib so-called rapture, and a few other things and I eventually left. I didn't however leave God, just that organization. I do not see that the Bible is referring to a rapture anywhere. But it does speak repeatedly about resurrection. Also, please tell me this. How can someone "back-slide" from their birth? Being born of God, and then somehow unborn. Does that make sense? Its just arrogant to assume that the people who left UPC "rejected God" because they left UPC.

There is a rapture of the church - it is for a specific purpose. God's program with the church is coming to a close, and He is about to go back to dealing with the Jews. There can't be two competing gospels on earth at the same time. The Gospel of salvation today is found in 1Cor.15:1-4, and we are sealed with the HS the moment we believe, Eph1:13. The tribulation is the time of Jacob's trouble (Jer.30:7), not the time of the church's trouble. The tribulation gospel is not the same as today. Dispensations. We need to rightly divide the word, 2Tim.2:15.

Honest question. So any advice to someone who missed the rapture? Would you still encourage him to seek God and try and live a Godly life. Reading the Bible and praying? And do everything they can do. I’m sure there are many people who think they are rapture ready but they are not. This is scary situation and of course the best thing is to live right, have a wonderful relationship with God and be raptured when the time comes. But if you miss it. What is your advice? These are the ones who come to believe during the tribulation and also some left behind Christians. Revelation 3 explains that the Laodicean (Lukewarm Christians) will have to go through the tribulation while the Philadelphia will be kept from it.
Saints after the Rapture? First off, how does one become a Saint? The answer, one has to be Born Again of the water and of the Spirit, correct? Then how can one be Born Again if the Church and the Spirit are taken in a Rapture in order for Satan to have his way during the Great Tribulation? Is there another way to be saved? You’re mixing a couple of verses that are quite far apart.

This happens before any mention of a mark and they seem to have already been there prior to what John saw in the previous verses. This seems to fit with the promise to Philadelphia in Revelation 3 that they would be kept from the hour of temptation which would come upon all the world (raptured).
“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”

It is the Great White Throne of Judgement after which there is a new heaven and new earth. And please clarify, why are you asking about multiple raptures? I’ve heard some argue for it but I’ve never been convinced that there are multiple raptures. You know it’s wonderful talking with someone who really studies the scripture 🙂

The resurrection happens after the last seven years. But only after 3 1/2 years of tribulation. The first 3 1/2 years is not tribulation. In the midst of the last 7 years ( after the first 3 1/2 years) the Antichrist will be revealed and the abomination of desolation take place. Then tribulation starts and last until the resurrection and battle of Armageddon, which happens 3 1/2 years later.

The elect it is referring to in the book of Matthew is Israel and the Jews. Not the Church. The book of Matthew we know for a number of reasons is for Israel and the Jews. It talks about fleeing to Judea. It talks about following the Sabbath day. Israel and the Jews follow the Sabbath. It talks about things that happens during Daniels 70th week. Anything Daniels 70th week related is not for the church and has nothing to do with the church.

And no, the Catholic Church does not teach that we receive initial justification by good works. You do not have to do good works in order to come to God and be justified.

If there was a pre-tribulation rapture we would all be gone by now. Look what's happening in every nation and what's happenning here.

I need clarification on why brother Bernard stated that those saved during the tribulation will be "primarily or exclusively Jews"? *Revelation 7:9-17* tells a DIFFERENT story! It is quite clear and plain from these verses that these are tribulation saints from practically every ethnicity on earth. Also, apparent is the fact that these saints are NOT a part of the church, but rather they come from a different dispensation, which is the dispensation of Tribulation.

Im a pre tribers believer before but when i read the book of paul it seems to me clear that apostle says in 2 thessalonians 2 that the coming of Christ and rapture will not happen except there is an apostacy and the revelation of the anti christ. Also the Holy Spirit will be taken away just to reveal the anti-christ. Apostle paul says that when the coming of Christ He will kill the anti christ by the spirit of His mouth.. It clear to me that after the tribulation his coming and it support also in the book of matthew 24:29-30 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Matthew 24:30
Considering the " rapture " is the 2nd Coming, no there will not be an opportunity to be saved. There is no pre-tribulation rapture. A scholar like Bernard should know this.

In both cases there was not great tribulation and judgment prior to deliverance.
Luke 17:26-29 (KJV) 26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed [them] all.
This does not sound like people going through great tribulation, eating, drinking, marrying, etc.
Do you have a world war, famine and plagues, massive depopulation, wormwood, 1/3 of the trees and plants destroyed, Waters turned bitter, They beg the rocks to fall on them. This seems to bear no resemblance to how it was in the days of Noah or in the days of Sodom, where in judgment took them by surprise and there was no tribulation.

So the Rapture is the gathering of the Virgins in Armageddon which leaves half of them to become "the Dead in Christ" of Rev 20:4, so I don't believe more will be saved after the Rapture but the half of Virgins who didn't have oil enough to enter Armageddon will be killed after half of the Virgins are snatched into the Bridechamber. They become Rev 6:9-11s souls who replaces Rev 20:4s "dead in Christ" who replace "the dead in Christ" to assist reseeding earth per Rev 20:5.
