Thank you! It's incredible how often people don't want to help others by sharing the information that they've acquired. This is basically the entire platform of what Obsessed Garage is. Someone takes the time to (arguably) perfect something, and then sharing that with the world to decide if that's what they want or if they want something else. This is much appreciated!
Gatekeeping is the absolute worst! There was a guy who had a set of 3 piece wheels I’ve been interested in for months, the faces are a tight fit with big brakes, so I asked him (very politely) if he would mind sharing the specs so I would know what I was dealing with, so I could consider offset, spacers etc. Completely ignored lol. Some people take the “I’m the only person with these” way too seriously, when there’s hundreds or thousands of us with the same stuff. If I can help, I’m an open book.. it’s what the community should be.
So clean! I just got some SSR Professor MS3's 19x10 +16 Front 265/35/19 19x10.5 +18 Rear 275/35/19 -2.2 front camber -3.0 rear camber. Front is flush rear pokes about 10mm :/
Love the satin black, specifically with the decal you chose. I also like a meaty set up I went 265/40 and 295/35 but my ride height is a little higher then yours to make it work and to save my Laptorr lip from getting destroyed hah
I would try to get them ceramic coated asap if you haven't already. I bought the same wheels for my Supra. Getting them CC to help with keeping some brake bust stains off. I also don't drive it everyday so I hope I'm good for a while.
I got the Supra spec SLs in magnesium blue on my black sapphire M340i 2023 LCI. Rears are 19 x 10.5 +23 Michelin PS4S 255/30/19, rears 19 x 10.5 +35 on Michelin PS4S 285/35/19 Also did the titanium Raceseng stud conversions and their titanium long open lug nuts in black. Dropped on Eibach. I ceramic coated them and left the decals off. What are your camber specs? Mine is negative 2.4 degrees in the rear.
Te’s don’t have caps that fit directly. They are meant to be ran without caps. They do have adapters, but not a fan of how they look. I prefer them without.
Not related to the m3 but I’m gonna be getting tires for my STI. It’s the stock bbs rims that come on the 15-17, and I have spacers. I really liked how your old STI had meaty tires, I’ve been wanting to get the continental DWS06, I’ve been looking at 255/40/r18, for the tire to look a little bigger, but I just don’t know if it’ll look good with an all season. What do you think? Or should I just get the stock sizing 245/40/r18?
How do you know what adjustments to have the alignment shop make? Do you tell them to just get the car back to spec or let them make the adjustments. I'm worried I tell them the wrong thing
I was planning on going 245 but needed some help on having a good flush fitment all around the car. With your suggestion it really help me pick tire size. I plan on going 245 . Thanks 🙏🏾
Not gonna lie, I am not the biggest fan of these wheels on this car, they seem to work great on anything Japanese but not so much on a german 4-door sports sedan like the M3. But great to see different things and get ideas, and preference aside your content is always TOP quality!

Exactly! The car world is for helping others out so we all can enjoy it.

It's crazy how some people will gatekeep wheel specs like it's a cure for cancer. I try to help out as much as possible. Thanks for being who you are.

Bold statement, but greatly appreciate it!
Another great video! Ready to see you purchase a Type R Honda! 🙃

I coated them before I put them on the car. ruclips.net/video/NhA_7j6JFF8/видео.htmlsi=gals-XO1ERJCrB82
i think these would look so good in formula silver
I agree! Would love a set in that color as well.

Are you ever installing center caps on these wheels before swapping to a new wheel setup? If so, what color center caps?

Go with the Michelin as 4’s. Better all season tire. And yes bump up to 255’s.
I mean.. not gonna lie. It's not that I don't enjoy listening to the discussion bits BUTTT... I coulda just watched 20 minutes of that B roll. Ooof. 😮
🔥🔥🔥🔥😩💯💪🏾💪🏾

Usually a competent shop has a few different options. Street, aggressive street, track, etc.
@@Autofreakgarage what route do you take? My car most likely won't see a track but more for spirited driving
@andrewg7678 I wanted around -2 all around for aggressive street. You’ll want a tad less if you want better tire wear.
@@Autofreakgarage dude thanks for the help. You always reply and I appreciate that 🤙🏻
Would the fitment be the same for f82?
For the front yes, but the rears may be a tad different due to the different size and shape hips.
@@Autofreakgarage yeah I was thinking the same thing I feel like the rear for f82 is a lil wider
@drefinesse2 f80 is actually wider by 7mm.
@@Autofreakgarage hmm interesting I just got one can’t wait to mod it thanks for the info tho
Hey there What tire size of rt660 would you recommend to have that flush fitment paired with RF2 Graphite esr rims
18x8.5 5x114.3 +30 offset
On an 8.5 I would go larger than a 245.
If 8.5 all round I would stay with the 245. No need to stagger tire size on same size wheel.
I was planning on going 245 but needed some help on having a good flush fitment all around the car. With your suggestion it really help me pick tire size. I plan on going 245 . Thanks 🙏🏾
Thanks really appreciate it. U really helped me out 👍🙏🏾
