Betty Boop - Grampy's Indoor Outing (1936)
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 10 апр 2020
- Betty offers to take her nephew Junior to see the carnival. Before they can leave the house, it starts to thunder and rain, making it impossible to attend the carnival. Betty's upstair's neighbor Grampy saves the day by using his crazy inventions to turn the apartment (and eventually, even the whole house with a huge umbrella covering it) into a circus. -

Grampy is a genius and his generosity has no boundaries.
Kinda makes me wish I could try something like that at home when I can’t go outside.
@@mcteen5198 Yeah.
We all need a Grampy in our life.
Yep UvU
He is a genius!
Ryder from GTA San Andreas was a genius.
Yessssssssss UvU
Understatement right here.
My mouth dropped open at the end with the 3D effect(I’m guessing they built a diorama and spliced in the animation... the effect is flawless!!)
This is the kind of movie magic that really sparks a sense of wonder. Whereas everything is just explained by CGI now, old films really had that “How’d they do that??” effect!
Grampy invented indoor entertainment !!!.😀😀😗
@@johnbockelie3899 I think Grampy's rollercoaster is better than the amusement park rollercoaster.🤩🤩🤩
The later Popeye cartoons had that 3-D effects in some of them too.
@@davidwesley2525 Grampy's rides were free too!!!😀😀😀😀
You be right they built some of the props and use stop motion to move the prop around along with animating the characters onto a glass.
I love that junior gets soap, fills the sink with soapy water, then grabs a towel and rubs his face on that and didn’t touch the water 😂😂
I was just gonna say the same thing. Classic kid. Waste the soap and water, go to all the trouble of making the sounds like he's washing up, then just get the towel filthy. Lmao the little details in these cartoons is absolutely amazing
That’s literally me cuz I hate water⭐️
Disgusting!But me too deep down!
Grampy is a Legend!
He sure is! Grampy saves the day!
He really is isent he?👏
We need more folks like Grampy.
Actually his inventions were pretty clever!
Yeah they were
I agree. 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
I know right
Better that Five Minutes Craft
It’s so creative 😊 the Grampy cartoons were always my favorite
they need to pulled out these show back out on TV...
MeTV has already done it. It’s on Popeye and Pals on Saturdays
Grampy isn't just a genius inventor; he's a sorcerer.
Some of these old Popeye cartoons also had.3-D effects too.
Yes that man can do stuff we can’t even do today XD
Yes
Why does he sound like Mickey Mouse
@@teelatomchick1926 Ppp0ppaay
I remember watching this cartoon and I forgot about how impressed I was at the last part with the whole 3D umbrella building spinning around.
They put a surprising amount of 3D elements in cartoons back in the thirties! Popeye had a lot of 3D sets himself, it's incredible what they could manage back then
@@bovineintervention6001 Mechanical and optical systems, and some very good engineering.
The apartment building and some of the furniture looks quite modern for being 84 years ago
It really isn’t! These types of furniture were really common back then
Not really, they were common back then
....no...it's just that our furniture has stayed similar. You can find furniture like this if you go back centuries
No that was actually fairly common back then
Because our country is underdeveloped 💀
0:50 I love Betty Boop's singing, she's has a lovely voice!
I thought I had watched “all” of RUclips Betty Boop but 5/5/22 is first for this jewel. Betty’s lengthy song is a ear worm!
Fun fact: Junior isn't Betty's son! But her NEPHEW
Grampy saved the day! These cartoons are adorable!
That 3D animation at the end was insane for the time period
Anything is possible with a little brainstorming, imagination, and impossible physics! :D
i cannot begin to describe how nostalgic this is for me. my mom had a huge collection of classic cartoons she raised me on like betty boop, felix the cat, casper the ghost, tom & jerry, you name it. glad i can rediscover and re-watch all this stuff and feel the nostalgia to come with it.
Kids, don't try this at home, especially the part at 3:57 . These are professional cartoon characters with special training and years of experience.
Dude, it’s just a cartoon
@iiGachaBean it's a joke
AH! I knew I recognized that Grampy man ... he also played in this vintage Christmas cartoon that me and siblings watched as young kids called "Christmas Comes but Once a Year". I see he's always helping the little kids out!
2:31 is literally my little sister when she doesn't get her device back and also Betty Boop is acting so motherly to the kid, I think she would make an amazing babysitter.
Junior is her Nephew.
Didn’t you just hate it when Mother Nature rains on my parade?
Badumm chh
*applaud*
And then the humans start to make nature nearly extinct
@@4viberzx841 correct worst species
How appropriate for Covid-19 times.
Perfect 👍😃
Nah, en 1930 y algo no había miedo por eso.
Yess
Yep lmao
Ummmm no it was very old it was like 1930 so it didn't had Covid-19😒
Grampy's hat is a telegraph key. Some of them light up and make that beeping noise. That's probably what they used for the sound effect. I wonder if it spells anything in Morse code.
Wanna bet that it spells "I got it"?
His literal thinking cap
Betty's bonding with Junior is so cute!
These three are seriously just the cutest ever!!
What Grammy does for this kid is just awesome
I hate when rain ruins my plans, I would love to have a friend like Grampy
I love classic vintage videos.
Cartoons*
The homemade carnival is the embodiment of the most fun in 2020
Grampy is like a quarantine God!! He be like "We can have more fun at home and it's free!" and he was actually right! 😍
Jr is adorable and this episode reminds me that my biological clock is ticking. 😂
@April Gonzalez. I wish you the best of luck.
@@danacaro-herman3530 Thank you.
I guess Grampy really knows how to have fun.
Thanks. I love these vintage Betty Boop cartoons, as much as the movies you post!
✌️😷
Thanks so much for giving us more Betty. I am collecting her cartoons & especially enjoy the songs. They sure don't make them like that anymore. She is such a hoot!
💯% 🆒️*️⃣*️⃣*️⃣*️⃣💙💜😀🙃
I love how Grampy makes so many inventions and how he can do all these amazing things. I missed watching Betty Boop cartoons. Now watching them again, keeps me staying positive along with my new dog, Kia.
"Carnival: today only!-
Also all week" that's such a cute and funny thing ^^
❤️❤️❤️👋👋👋👋👋👋😂😂😂😂😂😂I remember watching this when I was a child!!!! Yes, Grampy is a genius ! 👋👋👋👋👋👋
2:59 LMAO THE WAY HE SWINGS THE ARMS 😂😂🤣🤣🤣🪑🪑🪑🪑💀💀💀💀💀
I'm just saying, if I lived in that apartment building and some old coot made it spin around like that, I'd be pissed
1:18
Well that is what we call talent
2:32 that was me when I was little. I was such a pill at that time.😂
Dang now I want a Betty Boop reboot…these are classics.
Always love how they make the models to give these that 3D effect~ =D
I love Grampy and his thinking hat! :D
I love how creative these Grampy cartoons were!
I love this episode just as much if not more than I did when I was kid. What a favorite!!!
I freaking love that man. He has to do something to help with his cleverness. :D
this show is too adorable i can’t
Always cheering everyone up Grampy is like the robin williams of cartoon characters.
Grampy can break the laws of physics
Thx - it was a bushel of fun
Colossal Carnival today but only also all week!
That's brilliant advertising and especially in case of Inclement weather.
Lmao when I saw that kid throwing a huge tantrum at 2:29 and I was like 😳 and (laughing my arse off😂😂😂) at the same time.
I remember this like it was yesterday, wow 🤩
You ain't that old, surely?
@@bigchris80 that's what I was thinking lmao
@@bigchris80 The cartoon is 80+ years old. I used to watch this in the 90s. I'm 32.
🤣😆🎼🎶Thanks for Bunches of Laughs 😄💓🎈
Betty boop os cute 😊
I remember watching Betty Boop
One of my favorites got to love gramps god I miss mine specially after watching this and being made in the 30s and 40s being a veteran to and this being from the WW2 era from the best generation ever makes it all much much more satisfying to and black and white definitely the best icing on the cake
Grampy is so smart
the building they live in is strikingly modern for its time
Art deco style was a big thing since 1920's and it's also represented modernism.
@@charlesmagpili Modernism before it lost its soul.
@@jdb101585 yeah, right now it became too focused on formal experimentation and abstraction, lacking a clear sense of purpose or meaning.
I want to feel the old days..
Imagination !!,not violent and angry faces .
Grammy makes me so happy💖
That little boy didn't even wash his hands!
i think betty boop is a legend herself
Betty boop would be a cool mo if she was real and wasn’t canceled
Such a well made animated short! True masters of their craft.
That poor kid!!! You can feel the intense disappointment when “Niagara Falls” rushed out of his eyes!
How'd they get off the "rollercoaster"...
Magic
The rollercoaster slowed down to a stop.
grampy thought of something
LOL, HE REALLY SAID"ANGRY MODE ACTIVATE"
Grampy could find the cure for covid.
Betty sang that nice song 0:50 we’ll have fun at the carnival 1:48
this is better than new cartoons (my opinion)
You just know when Grampy does the spastic leg dance SOMETHING amazing is gonna happen!
Grampy does anything for Miss Boop.
Thank you! I ❤️ The Boop.
Betty is a very good mother
Grampy is so wholesome
Who's still watching in 2021?
Love beety boop. Thank. You
I love Betty bop so much!
Never fails to surprise me when I see Betty and remember she was dog
me encanta Betty Boop
So they made a model of the house for the 3D animation? Looks amazing.
0:25,Carnival for today only-also for the week🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.
That thinking cap moment at 3:26. 🤔🎓💡
I love Betty boop
This is... AMAZING!
What an animation, now I know why US have such good cgi effects than other countries
It may've been 1936, but i swear the spinning building looks a lot like CGI :-)
okay this is a great gem of talented people worked very hard on this little movie i love the feeling
of the apartments very modern & yet a picture of different times as but it reads well on the screen
& i like how Betty didn't get angry with her child it's understandable that he started crying even if he
was being a handful & Making sense in the front doors of apartments were you go into the building
heck even she was understandable upset but not letting ruin her day But not sure what to do after
& helping making her son feel better but not being sure what to do is one of those hard part i'm not
mom but so my not use to this situation but it's understandable no matter what i mean come on
that rain storm came out of no where in matter of moments
good thing grampy was their to help them out of that sudden turn of events & I'm sure Betty would
have found that something to help out her little kiddo or calm him down after a moment or two or
both it's Betty like Grampy she's pretty good figuring things out in the moment to make it out for them
for the day and i think the kid isn't actually betty's own son but her very young nephew? but i guess
betty is taking care of him for some reasons that aren't well known? or he pretty lives with her
On & off because maybe his parents work full time? or they simply can't a nanny for him & listens
to Betty or it could be both situations maybe even? & i like how fast Grampy thinks in the moment
Grampy was a cool man. I like how he helps Betty Boop with some issues that she faces.
The creativity in those days!
2:21 is my brother when he doesnt get his way
I love tHiS
Merci des sous titres fr
Betty has a sibling
Betty has a nephew.🤩🤩🤩❤❤❤
Sorry but the popups at the end of the vid ruin the final shot, which is AMAZING.
That thunder looks horrifying 😱
As someone with astraphobia (fear of thunder and lightning), I can relate.
I like this show
