What about the Farr North. Sometimes it feels like we don't exist! But when there's only 2 trains a day and the journey takes 4.5 hours to go 120 miles I guess we are just too far away for even Scottish people to want to come 😔 It's beautiful up here on the far north west coast. Incredibly peaceful and amazing for your mental health ❤

Yip, couldn't agree more Rachel... I'm a Glasgow boy, and have been lucky enough to live all over Scotland (and been all over this planet...) But recently moved to the Borders... I had no idea there was so much history on my doorstep down here... literally in my case! Absolutely incredible part of the world, and seriously under-rated...👍🏴
Me & my Mom want to visit someday I hope soon. We will be looking you up for this tour. The land of our ancestors and really her's because she was born there.

People are going to destroy morars beauty it used to be lovely it still is but with the amount of people visiting cleanliness is going to be an issue I’ve been going there since I was a child and the amount of people there now is ridiculous the council don’t leave enough bins and rubbish has been starting to build up so hopefully the council do something about limiting the amount of people going there or even introduce a fee for better upkeep I get very protective over that whole coastline it’s a big part of my family and heritage from arisaig all the way to skye

I a certain part of Aberdeenshire this is still happening, has been for many years.
The locals can't afford to buy property, so their children are forced to move away for accommodation and work.
One elderly lady sold her £2m house in London, came up here, got onto and received a beautiful new build council house, 2 bedrooms. When the list is full with locals waiting years for a decent home.
This was because of the buddy, buddy culture that went on.
She then bought a house and rented it out all year round at such a high rent the locals awaiting a council home couldn't afford to rent the house from her.
It was corrupt, through and through.
Skye was badly affected by that kind of thing too.

Nobody in Scotland likes the places she mentioned.
If you want a proper look at Scotland then do not pay for a guide. Just get a bus to the Highlands or North East coast, avoid places like Edinburgh. Even Scottish people don't go to Edinburgh cause it's just a rip off.
Places like Inverness, Skye, Aberdeen, Elgin, then get buses into the Grampian area and visit Ballater & Breamar, and the Grampian mountains.

Why sail to Skye when you can just take the bridge? Otherwise, good choices.
Because you miss some of the best that Scotland has to offer. Arisaig. Morar. West coast in general if you take the old road from Fort william to Mallaig.
So you missed out Stirling Castle, The Wallace Monument, and The Battle of Bannockburn. Did you claim to be an expert guide , yet you show the Kelpies ahead of the above.
