one thing i forgot. for an extra 15-20 fps boost go to saved games > respawn > Apex > local > videoconfig, open the video config file and make sure "csm.enabled" and "csm.coverage" are set to 0. also once youve put the file to read only, dont change settings in game cos it auto turns on the shadows again and u have to restart the game, even fov or brightness change will turn it on again so leave it be and enjoy the extra 20 fps. ty @sayarasaka for letting me know

The file must be read only which means any changes you make in game will not save and reset every time you boot the game up. You can change the file from read only to edit it then set it back to read only

there are a bunch of causes for freezes, if ur mouse polling rate is 2khz or over that can cause issues. other than that try these settings and lmk how it goes :)

I just like the way it looks tbh. there are some minor benefits like slight fps increase and lowered input delay. some good resolutions are: 1728 x 1080 1680x1050 1600x1080 1440x1080

They are both 16:10 resolutions so yeah they have the same amount of stretch, people prefer 1728x1080 because it has better quality (1080>1050)
