I am listening to this as a non Church of England Christian. I am a former member of the Methodist church who left years ago because of all the compromise. I've been an Anglican for the past 27yrs, after having grown up in the Baptist church. But for the past two months or so I've been worshiping back at Edenvale Baptist church in Edenvale where I live. It's a small town east of Johannesburg in South African due the heresy & in my opinion blasphemy that's taking place in the Anglican church. Such a shame to see how the woke movement has influenced a once truely blessed Christian church into becoming a tool of the evil one. I'm happy to be back in a church that preaches the (TRUE) word of God. It's a sad day indeed for Christianity. God bless you in the work you are doing
The Anglican faith is Word and Sacrament. Even if a bad priest gives you communion or Absolution his issues don't affect the sacrament. Baptist don't have sacraments.
Actually the Bible at the Coronation is typically presented by the Moderator of the Church of Scotland, not that that's a whole lot better at this point.
Even if the Bishop's in England don't repent now, they will one day have to do so, I urge you all who were @ the Gafcon conference not to dwell too long on that matter of repentance by the Bishop's in England, they will come to their census, God will speak to them. That's not good enough. These Bishops are doing immense harm to the flock they are suppposed to be caring for. Jesus spoke about "the hirelings" Whether or not the Bishops ( and many clergy) themselves repent and maybe some never will and come to their senses is one thing. The very real potential and actual harm they are doing to people, both believers and those at present unbelievers, is another. They are denying the authority of scripture and once you have done that you have opened the way for further incursions against its authority. Jesus spoke in no uncertain terms about the religious leaders of his day who seriously mishandled the scripture such that they didn't even recognise Jesus their Messiah when He was in their midst, saying of them that their father was the devil. Our English culture has been and in church circles still is so concentrated on being "nice" that we are often unable to discern the level of gravity of such a matter as this. Jesus said of some of the religious leader of his day "You are of your father the Devil" . Yes Gafcon continue concentrating on this terrible mishandling of scripture. I wonder how many evangelicals are aware that the coronation occurred on the feast day of St Dominic Savio and his prophecy on that the royal family will revert to its ancient religion. I am an Anglican of the Prayer book who holds to the 39 Articles. Sadly the Church of England today does not and is on the road to disaster and collapse. I am not a homophobe either as I am same sex attracted but a lifelong celibate. The Holy Spirit has kept me strong. This is why I sadly now attend an independent Evangelical Church. I did not watch the coronation or have any interest. Sadly I don’t believe Charles is a true Christian. Conversely I believe that Queen Elizabeth was and genuinely sought to follow and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. I bought a Platinum Jubilee Bible from the Trinitarian Bible Society. I am not sure they were wise to bring out a Coronation one celebrating an apostate King.

A lot of the African churches support this split because of how it sees gay relationships, a lot of these church leaders and churches also support their governments enforcing lengthy prison sentences for those arrested for being gay (we’re talking of 14 years and life in some instances) These churches and governments say that these are God honouring punishments but yet adulterers don’t have this threat, I’m struggling to see how this is anything other but demonising and hypocrisy but yet nobody in the church seems to bat an eyelid and challenge them.

I believe it’s more the governments rather than the Christians in Africa. Adulterers no longer are persecuted, nor should homosexuals etc be persecuted…but that doesn’t mean we should move past tolerance. Certainly we should not have to change God's laws to make them happy!

Ironically the King was actually given the Bible by the Moderator of the Church of Scotland, which agreed last year that its ministers can conduct same-sex marriages (as well as blessings) in their churches. At least the CofE isn't even looking at conducting same-sex marriages yet - and, pray God, may yet not approve the Prayers of Love and Faith for blessings of same-sex marriages.

It is the Moderator of the Church of Scotland who always presents the Bible to the monarch at the coronation ceremony. The Church of Scotland is Presbyterian, not Anglican. However, this is just as grievous as the Church of Scotland is every bit as compromised as the Church of England. While I wholeheartedly agree that the Lord Jesus can and does remove the Holy Spirit from local churches, as a lamp stand can be removed from a building; I am not sure that the Lord would remove his presence from a local Anglican Church which remains within the Church of England in a state of impaired relationship with its bishop.
I wouldn't worry about Charlie being given the bible by a non-believer (Welby). If they're stuck, he'll be just as happy to accept a quran, or even a document from the WEF, it makes not a jot of a difference to him. It is NOT a multi faith ceremony. It’s basically an Anglican ceremony (although there’s nothing ‘basic’ about it) although other faith reps will attend but not take part. The only other non Anglican actually participating will be the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland which is Presbyterian and the established church in Scotland. The Moderator will present the king with a Bible stating the laws of God come before and above the laws of mankind. So it is a Christian ceremony (a bit too ‘high’ for me but it will be very ceremonial). Calm down all you Christians, don’t panic.

I've been an Anglican for the past 27yrs, after having grown up in the Baptist church. But for the past two months or so I've been worshiping back at Edenvale Baptist church in Edenvale where I live. It's a small town east of Johannesburg in South African due the heresy & in my opinion blasphemy that's taking place in the Anglican church. Such a shame to see how the woke movement has influenced a once truely blessed Christian church into becoming a tool of the evil one. The Anglican faith is Word and Sacrament. Even if a bad priest gives you communion or Absolution his issues don't affect the sacrament. Baptist don't have sacraments.
Actually the Bible at the Coronation is typically presented by the Moderator of the Church of Scotland, not that that's a whole lot better at this point.
Even if the Bishop's in England don't repent now, they will one day have to do so, I urge you all who were @ the Gafcon conference not to dwell too long on that matter of repentance by the Bishop's in England, they will come to their census, God will speak to them. That's not good enough. These Bishops are doing immense harm to the flock they are suppposed to be caring for. Jesus spoke about "the hirelings" Whether or not the Bishops ( and many clergy) themselves repent and maybe some never will and come to their senses is one thing. The very real potential and actual harm they are doing to people, both believers and those at present unbelievers, is another. They are denying the authority of scripture and once you have done that you have opened the way for further incursions against its authority. Jesus spoke in no uncertain terms about the religious leaders of his day who seriously mishandled the scripture such that they didn't even recognise Jesus their Messiah when He was in their midst, saying of them that their father was the devil. Our English culture has been and in church circles still is so concentrated on being "nice" that we are often unable to discern the level of gravity of such a matter as this. Jesus said of some of the religious leader of his day "You are of your father the Devil" . Yes Gafcon continue concentrating on this terrible mishandling of scripture. Continue to loudly sound the trumpet so that more may wake up to those who are, as scripture puts it, being "led away to death"

I am an Anglican of the Prayer book who holds to the 39 Articles. Sadly the Church of England today does not and is on the road to disaster and collapse. I am not a homophobe either as I am same sex attracted but a lifelong celibate. The Holy Spirit has kept me strong. This is why I sadly now attend an independent Evangelical Church. I did not watch the coronation or have any interest. Sadly I don’t believe Charles is a true Christian. Conversely I believe that Queen Elizabeth was and genuinely sought to follow and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. I bought a Platinum Jubilee Bible from the Trinitarian Bible Society. I am not sure they were wise to bring out a Coronation one celebrating an apostate King.

Ironically the King was actually given the Bible by the Moderator of the Church of Scotland, which agreed last year that its ministers can conduct same-sex marriages (as well as blessings) in their churches. At least the CofE isn't even looking at conducting same-sex marriages yet - and, pray God, may yet not approve the Prayers of Love and Faith for blessings of same-sex marriages.

While I wholeheartedly agree that the Lord Jesus can and does remove the Holy Spirit from local churches, as a lamp stand can be removed from a building; I am not sure that the Lord would remove his presence from a local Anglican Church which remains within the Church of England in a state of impaired relationship with its bishop.

It's utter hypocrisy for someone who is a devout atheist and hates God to take such oaths. I felt physically sick and had to change the channel. The whole thing reminded me of why I left organised religion. Jesus died to set us free from all this religious garbage.

It is NOT a multi faith ceremony. It’s basically an Anglican ceremony (although there’s nothing ‘basic’ about it) although other faith reps will attend but not take part. The only other non Anglican actually participating will be the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland which is Presbyterian and the established church in Scotland. The Moderator will present the king with a Bible stating the laws of God come before and above the laws of mankind. So it is a Christian ceremony (a bit too ‘high’ for me but it will be very ceremonial). Calm down all you Christians, don’t panic.
Well you’re wrong. The Epistle is being read by Mr Sunak, who is a Hindu. In 1953 it was read by a bishop. So to say the only non--Anglican participating is the Moderator (who is at least a Christian) is simply wrong.

The problem is the 'mother church' as in the anglican church/church of england is that this in itself was actually founded on the vanity and arrogance of the king henry 8th to allow him to discard wife after wife whilst he followed his own path of sexual immorality in the name of prodcuing an heir to the throne, from then on God was not the head of the church the king was and the monarch is said to be the head of the church of england/anglican church to this day - this was the first major church schism and look where it has led - disbelief or reverence for the virgin birth, the bible - word of God - leading to all the so called tolerances which once you get on that path it is an extremely slippery slope to hell.
