- After a great start to the year in BFL's, it's time to kick off the BASS Nation season! This year, I'm on a mission with my partner Josh Dees to qualify for the State team and things start out nicely.
Nice video. I do like to hear the conversation between you and the boater. Good luck on Guntersville.
Thanks Mike!
Great video y’all caught a lot of fish great job
Thanks for watching man!
Do you get to fish with the same boater every tournament in bass nation?
You can link with someone or you can do random draw!
My fishin buddy and i are traveling out to Lake martin in May. Any tips would be appreciated. Wanna catch all the species we can. Bass, striper, crappie, even some old bream. We normally travel to Lake Talquin, in Tallahassee but we are looking for a new lake this year. Good luck guys!
In May they’ll probably be out a little deeper. Find some brush piles, fish docks, and points with a topwater early in the day would be my recommendation.
Congratulations! Your shakey head and jig looks like what I throw!
They are a great combo!
Lake Martin is FULL of dink spots. The trick to winning on lake Martin is the 2.5 to 3 lb larggies if you can get a 5 fish in that weight line you will be hard to beat I have best luck dragging a jig or Texas rig on the bottom . Weekend b4 last the was holding on rocky points between 10 and 20 ft deep hope this helps anybody
Thank you for the juice! Yes getting that bigger than average bite is the key 🤙🏻
There a reason the livewell only has a few inches of water in it?
Because I didn’t catch fish big enough to need more than that 😂
The more fish in the box the faster the oxygen will get used up. It doesn't matter about the size. Put more water on those fish.
