Hi mate, just watched your review. How are you finding it down the road a little bit more. I have a Tassimo and have had for ten plus years, but I'm getting a little bored with the selection of coffee. The dolce machine is basically the same and the Nespresso is probs the best with a hell of a lot more to select from coffee wise. But one that can do the lot in one go seems very appealing and it's 99 quid at Amazon right now. But I'd like to hear from someone who's used it a bit, rather than the usual Amazon 'amazing'🙄 comments. Any advice would be much appreciated 👍🏻. A new sub to your channel mate..
@@antonytheolddog8626 Hi, for me the negatives are the amount of water it holds isn't great so you do have to fill it up quite often. It has 4oz and 2oz, and sometimes you won't get a full 4oz. I am not sure if this is an issue with the nespresso pods I have been using, and just pressing 2oz it will top up. The ground coffee works well but is a bit awkward to clean out after. Overall I am pleased with it, and use it several times a day.
Already ordered it, my friend. I think it could be prigoid for me, a quick brew in the morning to go to work with, save me buying a expensive branded shop one. Thanks for the reply pal.👍🏻
I got one of these from Amazon in June this year and it keeps dislodging the seal when using fresh ground coffee. I have descaled twice but it makes a squealing noise, leaks and as I say the seal comes out.
It is Black Friday week and I saw another review from a "Dax79" not a great review, you've made this machine look far more of a purchase and good to see you put it on an unstable surface of a cooker lid then on a worktop surface which of course is far more stable and solid. I don't like with the fresh coffee pod it leaves hot Water behind in it, can be messy and be easily spilt if the sink isn't that close by. Looks great but on the fence with this one? Do I or Don't I? I'll have a few days to think about this one...... good review!
Hi, thank you for the kind comments. I am going to do a follow up review on this machine in the near future. For a quick breakdown after 5 months use the pro's are: It is quick and fairly quiet. You can easily switch between pods and ground coffee. It is small so won't take up much counter space. Everything is easy enough to clean. The con's are: It does not hold much water so you have to top it up frequently. The amount of water it dispenses is either 2oz or 4oz and the amount can sometimes be inconsistent to a small degree. When using ground coffee it is a pain to clean out the filter. Hope this helps.
Hi Chris, May you help me, please With ground coffee beans: How much ground coffee in grams can we put in, at most ? Thank you very much, Regards 🙏 ✨️✨️
Hi, I have just put it on my scales, and the weight is 15.5g. This would of course vary depending on how firmly you pack the container. Hope this helps.
@@Kalbo64 Oh 15,5g, that's really fantastic That means it is not an individual but for 2 persons or 2 expresso ? Guess, individual = 7 or 7,5g, right ? Thank you so much for answering 🙏 🙏 🙏 Caus'i really needed this information Greetings from France 🙏
Good afternoon, Excellent guide, thanks. Just a quick question about the Dolce Gusto adapter; any good and could you show how to use it, please? Regards, Stu
Hi, I have not used the Dolce Gusto adapter so don't know with that part. I use fresh coffee and Nespresso pods, but If I do get some Dolce Gusto capsules I will post up the results.
I have been online for hours trying to find this. I bought this machine from Amazon because it shows it works with dolce gusto pods. Well after an hour of research, turns out it does but they do not include the adapter. Which is ridiculous they don't tell you. Please please does anyone know where I can buy this? Not the adapter that allows me to use my own coffee but the actual one that holds the pods for this machine. The dolce gusto pods @@Kalbo64
Can you give us the different make of the capsules, the pods or other compatible contents that can be used on this machine. Thank for the demonstration. What does the little type of post used for that was sent with the spoon?😊
Hi, it's compatible with Dolce Gusto, Nespresso capsules, grounds and ese pod coffee. The post thing is used to prime the water/remove any air blocks on first use or if the water runs out.
I have had mine for a week, which is odd cause I hate week coffee. I had troublegettingNespresso togiveme coffee, I got hot water. But possibly you need to use the small size?? But Keurig works great, and makes hot delicious coffee. It does spill agua all over. And a full size coffee cup never fits under the brewing spout. I have not tried preground coffee.
I just purchased the same machine. My stainless steel cup for loose coffee grinds does not have holes that penetrate completely through the cup. Is this the same on yours? I'm wondering if the part is defective?
Hi, the holes are very fine so even though they don't appear to go all the way through they do. It is possible yours is defective but I would test it first to check. Hope this helps.
@@Kalbo64 there are very fine holes on one side only, there is no penetration to the other side and it retains water after use. Your video seems to show retained water as well?
Hi, I just had a close look at mine. It has fine holes on the internal and just one small hole on the bottom in the middle. You do get some water left in with the coffee grinds after use. I would say if you don't have the small hole in the bottom middle then the part is defective.
I just got mine yesterday, and already having issues with opening the locking lever on top, damn thing keeps getting stuck, even with a little force it won't open, I really can't see what I'm doing wrong, anyone else having problems with this?
Hi, I have seen a few people saying they have this issue, but have not seen any solution. Personally I have not experienced this, and mainly use nespresso pods. The lever does take a fair bit of pressure to close and release, I presume by design in having to puncher the pods. I can only really suggest contacting the supplier.
Purchased Nov. 2023. Machine is not working, just continues to make a clicking noise. Cannot find warranty information, customer service information or trouble shooting guide.
Your filter was not filled enough and your grind size may have been off. Ive watched many videos of this machine and not a single one of them were loud like yours. Maybe faulty machine If i dont get the proper pressure when brewing, my espresso machine makes the same noise as yours. If my basket is filled and tamped properly with the correct ground size, the machine purrs like a kitten
@@Kalbo64 thanks I knew this however was questioning the soft compostable pods it is not illustrated. All pods are not made the same. I will reach out the company to be sure.
