REEF ANNOUNCE NEW LIVE ALBUM ‘IN MOTION (LIVE FROM HAMMERSMITH)’ TO BE RELEASED FEBRUARY 22ND ON earMUSIC. FIRST SONG “PLACE YOUR HANDS” OUT NOW!
2018 saw Reef release the acclaimed album “Revelation”, their first in 18 years. Now the renaissance continues with the live album “In Motion (Live From Hammersmith)”. The show was recorded on May 6th at the legendary Hammersmith Apollo in London as part of the “Britrock Must Be Destroyed Tour” (alongside other 90’s Britrock legends, Terrorvision, The Wildhearts and Dodgy). Reef closed the show that evening. The set included their best loved song 'Place Your Hands', and examples of the joyous soulful sounds from the latest album “Revelation” including a magnificent performance of the duet “My Sweet Love” by lead vocalist Gary with Lynne Jackaman.
The album also includes performances of favourites including “Naked” and “Summer’s In Bloom” and from “Revelation” the title track, “Precious Metal”, and “How I Got Over”. The album is a must for anyone who ever loved Reef, both then and now!
Reef “In Motion (Live From Hammersmith)” will be released on 2LP+Blu-Ray and CD+Blu-Ray and Digital.

RICK GRIMES
Best not to sing this song on kare-oke in a rough pub wit Welshies! 😅 🎉
How did his voice get higher after 25 years? 😂
Ouch
Not many hands ‘up’ :-(
It's 'put your hands on' ....as in healing
@@soniahensler Yes as I believe it was written about Gary dealing with his grief over the death of his grandfather
Not the best direction/editing ever. Way too many lingering shots just makes the performance come across as lacklustre, which it isn't, if you listen to the audio alone, it's fine. Naked @ Metropolis is much closer to how it should be (and sounds absolutely fantastic too). This sounds pretty good but the ambients could be a bit louder in places
Stringer looks homeless.
I don't recognise him. Not at all. I barely recognise his voice. He sings it SO DIFFERENT here. And not in a good way. He's taken all the rhythm out of the phrasing.
@@freddybeer Wow you are so wrong
Lead singer, Mr Jason Stringer, a Scotsman ?? Wiki has no info ....
andrew dods Sounds more like the West Country
Malcolm Baker reminds me of jimmy barnes .. glasgow / aussie :-)
His name is Gary, not Jason. And he's English, I believe from the Glastonbury area
I always thought they was from Cornwall
