mate had me in tears also. .....Thank you for sharing and all your words have mirrored mine. i lost my father 8 years ago and had i gone to visit him a day earlier like i had planned i would have seen him but sadly I put it off until the next day but he passed. i understand you. what hurts me is that my father and I had a rocky relationship growing up amd I looked up to C Reeve and mimicked him trying to be the best Superboy...but in my adult years my father and I reconciled and became friends. and sadly he said im sorry i was never your Superman but i am grateful Christopher Reeve raised you well and now your my Superman...im crying as i type
I felt the same way watching. Also, I want to say thank you for all the hard work I have seen over the years on Superman IV that you have done. Excellent work, and know you are appreciated for all the hard work you have put in. I am hoping the new DC Studios will take notice and see the value of all the work you have done! Stay strong!
So touching. You mirrored how I felt when I watched this trailer for the first time and every time since. Chris was really a super man who really showed up that the real heroes are us humans. We have powers way beyond those of one who has them. The talents of yourself for example are super. The movie is shown here in the end of September. Stay Super my friend!!!!
Tengo 50 años y vi el estreno de Superman en Cine, y me prometí que si tenía un hijo varón se llamaría como mi gran héroe.....hoy mi hijo Christopher lleva con honor el nombre del eterno y por siempre Superman
Thank you for this. Earlier this year, I lost my father as well. He was experincing numerous health problems which I nor the rest of my family was aware of until it was too late. Among the many problems was an oral cancer which was discovered after a tooth extraction and would then suffer a lot of bleeding from the mouth. He was using an opioid called oxycodone for stopping the bleeding temporarily. His death was caused by overdosing on oxycodone. There was supposed to be some kind of plan for a medical procedure to replace his jaw using a piece of a leg bone which even if it did happen, he would have continued to live with even more pain and misery. He lived in a house in Rhode Island separate from where I currently live in New York. If I had known about what he was going through, I would’ve taken a train ride up there to take care of him every day. The last time I saw him was when he visited me sometime last year and we both went out to dinner. My evening spent with him and being there for him made him happy. But I would not have hesitated to do more for him during the months of his health crisis.
Great reaction to the documentary, Aaron! I'm still waiting patiently for Superman IV Extended Cut Edition on Blu-ray. I just wanna know when's it come out. 🙂
greetings and love from Germany.....great reaction,,, I just wanted to wish you my heartfelt condolences. I myself had some losses in the family and know how bad that is. My father often used to quote Bruce Lee: "Don't pray for an easy life. Pray for the strenght to endure a difficult one". I was grateful to have a dad who was my Superman. Maybe my post will help you a little bit. You´re not alone. I wish you and your love ones a peaceful weekend, buddy.. stay safe & take care
Aaron first off I would like to say that I'm sorry for the loss of your father, and thank you for all that you have done with all your edits of Superman 4, and this reaction included. Sending love from the US. ❤
I saw this in the local Cineworld, I needed tissues due to blubbing. I love the work you do and always hope that we get, what I call, the 'dude of steel' cut similar to the Donner cut in time for the 40th anniversary. Maybe we should get onto James Gunn about it
I lost my mother a few years back from cancer. She was like a mother/father everything rolled into one. So, I understand your pain mate. But stick to your passions and you will be be alright. Keep flying!
Hey buddy, what on earth is going on with your planned re-edit of Superman IV? I know you were waiting for Warner to release all the footage to you which is likely to never happen but can you not create your cut from the Superman IV 4k blu ray?
Corny as it may sound my mom was my SUPERMAN and JOR EL all in one ,1960’s my alcoholic and abusive father finally left us and my mom with 5 of us kids she over came harsh poverty struggling each day to make ends meet she never gave ,2008 she passed away and I always tried my to do my best to listen to what she had to say about our family heritage ,I took it upon myself to protect and preserve the family photos because my two older brothers and one sister fell in to drugs and wild life style my youngest brother is good person and in 2022 he became Sheriff. But the photos and documents I inherited I found out our family dates back to 1878 almost 150 yrs and our only child my son now 24 is the only one to pass this on to. I spent 10 1/2 yrs on dialysis it’s now my 2nd yr since transplant and yr half later heart surgery like my mom I’m not giving up ,So like JOR EL I’m transferring everything over to the newest technology available to preserve the family heritage. 1978 SUPERMAN film was and still the best ,George Reeves,Christopher Reeve and Henry Cavill will always be the best three to portray SUPERMAN
If Christopher Reeve was alive now, he would love to see your Superman 4 remastered.
He would give your edits his seal of approval.

I mirrored your reaction, Aaron. Still so heartbreaking all these years later. I’m so sorry to hear about your father 😢 Sending all my love, mate ❤
the part where he's flying over the water with the music really beautifully done. Awesome, I was a kid in the 70's he was a Superhero 😢😞
Love your channel, you do great work. Thanks for sharing your reaction.

I had the same reaction mate.
This was so hard to watch without getting emotional. When that music kicked in, Wow.
After ugly crying over this trailer myself, I actually thought about you and how you would react. So thank you for sharing this!
Beautiful reaction man!

You held it together better then I did 😂
September 25 is Chris' birthday - I believe that's why they set it up for that date.
I felt that at 3:32…
The one and only…
A genuine and very heartfelt reaction video. Thank you for all that you do.
