I can confirm 100% that this works! I am over the moon at how well this worked. After cleaning off the scratched layer, I made sure the screen was cleaned using isopropyl alcohol and then fitted an anti glare (matte) screen cover typically used for an iPad (tablet) that I cut to size to fit the screen. Thanks so much for the video and idea!

Felix, how much sun glare did you get straight after removing the film? (Before putting on the new matte cover) ? Cheers

@@treadstonemd there was not much glare before putting on the matte screen. I could have left it but was worried about future cleaning, hence the anti glare screen

Thank you very much. Worked very well. I used the compound left over from a headlight restoration kit.

I used Colgate toothpaste fibre cloth and display cleaner. Just like new. The antiglare film was useless and just got scratches. Much better without. Thx for the guide

Rubbish!....Don't take it out. Don't use expensive plastic cleaner. Rub the screen gently for a couple of minutes with a BABY WIPE....Sorted!
