Much of this is wrong. Both guys had some good and bad points, but the biggest flaw for Scotty was that he isn't sure if he's a southpaw or not. His footwork was generally not good.
Malik was also switching stances recklessly, especially at first, but notice toward the middle he calms down and gets a little more consistent, gets his feet moving right, and that helps his defense and counter-punching. Watch starting about 4:15 how he stays in the southpaw for a while, and his defense improves. He switches again and gets tagged about 5:11.
Both guys could really benefit from learning some footwork and working on developing one real jab. I think both guys are right handed, so the lack of a left jab is the real thing causing them to keep switching. They're trying to get their dominant hand forward to get an effective jab, thinking that same hand can also be their defense. See how at about 5:20 Scotty throws a sort of hook-jab with his front (right) hand from a southpaw stance and leaves himself completely vulnerable with his left hand hanging low. Right before that, Malik steps outside the front foot to the left (as you would do against a southpaw), and completely takes Scotty's left hand out of the fight for the final 3-5 seconds.

Blow to the back of the head was an illegal shot, you guys need better referees

Absolutely. Not only was the shot illegal. It is also deadly. The man could've died. Just look at what happened to Prichard Colon. How this fight was called tells you these guys are clueless and should not be holding these fights.

👍🏾 # 777 here and just want to say that wasn’t a low blow @ 2:12, that shit hit his left hip bone/flexor but he went full World Cup acting 😂. However, that KO wasn’t acting 😮
