By the end it was a bit of a race against time but I somehow managed to get the final video out on release day haha. Thanks for watching and enjoy the game!
Final mission....almost seems sad huh? But at least it was a wonderful time we had. The EDF won't fall to any damn invaders! We stand talls in the face of danger! We are strong! We are the EDF!!!
Spoiler for those who haven't watch to the end So the ending we got after fighting a god who travel in future back to the past, become a time paradox being due to sudden changes of timeline because we wipe out the primals whole civilizations on mars We got these 1 girl giving us a thanks and the harder the difficulties we got the more she fall in love with us These is the most weirdest ending i ever known Still gonna play it tho
Inferno was challenging, yea. One tip I can give you in case you're playing Ranger: The Free Bike Type-Z was very useful. You can easily outrun the meteor showers and also get some distance between you and the enemy mobs quickly, then take pot shots at them from the edges of the map. Takes a while but it works nicely.
@@cenorexia While I understand the distance for mobs, why the meteors? Do they have an increased health pool to where I can't just blast them down with a rocket launcher as usual?

@@cenorexia I wondered about that the entire time 😆 and yeah best to not limit yourself when it feels like the game is choosing to take you out in real life. I can't wait to see how that goes down. Well. Time for me to finally play it! EDF!
Just woke up, it’s 6a where I am when I type this, gonna watch the final mission and then start downloading EDF6 on my pc, oh man I can’t wait to play the game with Serious Sam/Sonic Frontiers music playing in the background
Turns out you can deploy ground vehicles in the apocalypse level but it’s only free bikes and depth crawlers for rangers and air raiders also 6:00-6:10 haha only storm one knows that the final fight was just getting started and victory for the EDF
So, I know this game already has a crapton of time travel shenanigans happening and isn't exactly hard science as it is, but any signal from Earth to Mars would take at least four minutes to arrive and four minutes for any response, even if it's the light from the explosion. From the point of view of Earth, nothing would happen for at LEAST eight minutes, and that's when Earth and Mars are as close together as possible. It would have been kind of cool (though probably not that much fun) to have to hold out for a little bit to account for light lag. You could change the timer depending on the difficulty level too, if you wanted. You can also just handwave that away by saying that any amount of time less than that would require a time machine. Like the one you just blew up. Or the other one right in front of you. It's not a big deal, is what I'm saying.
I had exactly the same thought when I first played the game and it also irked me ever since. I tried to explain it this way: When the operator says a rocket was sent to Mars, it might've been there already before the battle started, just waiting (I think she also says something to the effect that the Rocket is already there). They had to send it several months in advance anyway. Then the countdown to the explosion is the countdown to them pressing the button on Earth. Like you said it would take a while for the signal to go there and also to get any kind of feedback. Her saying "Kaboom!" is just metaphoric. But in the end, the mere act of pressing the button, which will result in detonating the bombs on Mars is enough to expect some kind of effect on the Primers from the Future. As in: In the large scale of things it doesn't matter if the bombs exploded instantly or 5 minutes later. They pressed the button, it is done. The future Primers should not exist.
The intelligence division commander sounds like Philomena from BBC 😅 Also, would you like to create a video about how many the ground forces commander said 'what' in this game. He said it too much.
Can't believe this, instead of playing the game, I am watching your final mission lol...can't even run the game without telling my anti-virus to whitelist😂

If you're really going to, here's a tip: As Ranger, take a bike. The bestest you got. That's how I beat it solo on inferno. You can easily outrun the boss's meteor shower or get some distance between you and the enemies, then pick them off with a high power sniper rifle. Also don't attack the boss while an enemy wave (for example the Colonists) is called in. Finish them first before you continue damaging the boss or the boss will call in the next wave and things can get overwhelming. It'll take quite some time but if you take it nice and slow and always run some laps on your bike you can do it 💪
The only thing i can't figure out: Is this the same Nameless from EDF 5? They said the Nameless was the Primer Equipment if Storm 1 so that would imply he's also removed from time and no matter what happened before now, he'd just come back like Storm 1. Or is this the Nameless' very angry Dad? Did Storm 1 fight the Nameless each loop off screen? If not, what happened to him then? My head hurts. Everything smells like Copper.
It's not entirely clear how many times the EDF fought "The Nameless". I would think the EDF fought it at least once, at the end of the EDF5 "loop" which goes on until the end of EDF6 Mission 9, when the Ring activates and the timeline changes. We then follow the enemy back into the past at the end of Mission 13, starting the sixth loop (hence the message the Earth Defense Force *6* would start now). And from then on, in all the following "loops" it doesn't seem like we fought "The Nameless" anymore. The Primer learned from their failure and tried different approaches, without jeopardizing their most valued entity. Until the very end of EDF6 when they send an upgraded version from the future.
