Absolutely incredible. Not just because of the explosion and the feeling of immense power it has, but also the aftermath. I think my favorite part of this is how the affected area truly feels like a small wasteland, completely incinerated by something catastrophic. If you ever decided to make a survival-friendly plugin, something tells me it'll be a hit with modded players (e.g. myself). @@Cheese--Lover Technically, though, plugins ARE mods, it still is impressive, but not as impressive as if it were made with a datapack (im all of it btw... Datapacker, Pluginer, Modder, Resourcepacker...)
from an art standpoint i thought of a few cool things to add to amp up the OOMF of the blast.~ 1.) have the laser line be thin and broken up, and flicker for like 0.25 seconds before firing the full laser, maybe with a high pitches ring/zap sound. 2.) Have a black cube spawn in front of the players vision, blacking out their vision for a fraction of second, followed immediately by a white glowing block. this black to white flicker is added in animation to make a sudden contrast shift, making it way WAY more impactful. Try to emulate massive explosions from anime for example. and maybe have the games contrast/brightness on full blast and quickly fade down to very dark, then back up to normal again. emulating the players eyes adjusting to the bright flash? 3.) another cool idea but I don't know if possible, is to add a cloud burst in the sky as it passes through the atmosphere, just another few (3?) shockwave rings up in the sky, maybe even removing clouds in the area if that is possible? 4.) have the initial sonic shockwave strip the leaves off trees and maybe knock back entities, with a powerful whoosh noise? maybe follow that with a light ear ringing noise? 5.) have it scatter common player building blocks away from the direction of the explosion, so wood planks and cobble and stairs, etc. have them burst away. maybe use ray traces to detect only the outer walls and roof so they get blown off and scattered from the shockwave? EDIT* Extra.) HAVE IT TURN SAND TO GLASS IN DESERTS!!! this is unbelievably amazing, I am addicted to your channel, please keep up the amazing work!

Very cool, I'd love to see what would happen if you used it in a cave, or somewhere with a large roof (since the laser burning through blocks looked really cool)
super cool as usual! only thing id change would be some kind of indicator as to where it is about to land to build anticipation (ignoring realism there ofc)
what would be even cooler is if you add a slight delay to the explosion if you're far away, like if you're around 75-100 blocks away you see the explosion but hear it after 0.5 to 1 seconds later. either way its really sick
4:15 the movement you added to the laser in the sky and on the ground are genius and so well done. You made the satellite path through the sky exactly how it would look in real life but IN MINECRAFT. What a legend, hats off to you
Love that the blast zone away from the initial explosion is also burnt and destroyed from the heatwave, makes it look and feel so much more realistic. Not like the other mods with big explosions (Mahou Tsukai comes to mind) where there are pretty effects and it destroys a lot of blocks but leaves no other cool aftereffects other than a big hole in the ground.
Love the consistency of your world. It feels like you're a mad genius who lives in the Minecraft universe, it feels real within it if that makes sense.
