I am a clean freak, so it doesn't normally look that way. We just had moved prior to this and I hadn't gotten down to unpack and organize it. So yes it was incredibly difficult for me to be creative in that space. I'm very grateful it is organized now.

You done a lovely job, looks great. You mentioned a dreambox, though they are cool, you've invested money into some really nice long term capable items. Just a suggestion, maybe pic a wall to mount one bracket systems so shelving can be adjusted to fit bins you've purchased or future storage choices for efficiency . To avoid getting overwhelmed by mix of colors or styles of bins, hang a rod in front of it all, make a curtain out of a fabric that you like at the moment, as time goes by and the urge to switch up the look, change out the fabric. Form and function that might could work for you.

Just a suggestion you can put your table on riser’s to make it higher to put drawers stacked higher and then you still have table space under Tv. Us wood 2x4 cut and hole in the center not cut all the way for legs to be stable ( paint wood black so it doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb..lol just a thought.
Great job. I’m almost finished with my craft room office room also. I started before Thanksgiving thinking it would take a couple of weeks. Right. I took everything out from the closet and started there. I bought more of the same drawers cabinets I had and added a pegboard to wall. Outside I got ride of tables. Yes tables. There is no space to store supplies. I bought a used maple desk, move the maple furniture from around the house and now everything is starting to look so much better. The thing that really makes my room look great is that I stuck to the same wood and colors throughout I didn’t have to spend thousands of dollars but reuse furniture I had.,and got rid of all little plastic drawers and bins. I have a few more days to be able to use the craft room. I look forward to using a more organized room.
I actually agree with you on that. I was debating stacking them all in the closet and not having anything under the TV. Try to not have the room feel so packed with stuff, but I need to try to move stuff around and see what I like best. Thanks for the advice!
Thank you 😊 for the tour. You should put shelves in the closets. I have lots of 12x12 paper that I need to make another system for. I also have to come up with another another system, to make them more assessable, and less on my back ways to assess them. Any suggestions?
Oh my, I think we are twins! I have the same bow flex and excise equipment in my craft room, same baskets, wire flower basket, same rolling plastic drawers, label maker, loads of yarn that was given to me. Looks like you micro organize also. Gonna get back to work on mine now and will definitely use some of your suggestions! I’m a new subscriber. Thanks for the inspiration

You did soooo much organizing! Life will be so much easier for you now!!! I recently did the same to my art studio. One thing I did that I see you could also do: I made shelves top to bottom in my closet. Actually I have large bins like yours lined up on the bottom of the closet and shelves above it all the way to the top the shelf at counter height is a bit deeper than the others so that I have a surface to pull stuff out and gather materials onto for each project - eventually that “counter” will serve as a shipping area as well. My doors on the closet are bifold so I can open the whole thing up or keep it hidden. I have labeled every small bin and drawer in there (like you have), I absolutely cannot believe how much the closet can hold and how great it works for me. I never used the hanging rod in that closet anyway and I had all of that unused vertical space. I love your little organizers with the doors on them- they are fantastic!

Holy Moly! How many hours did this take?! I hope you listened to audiobooks or a music playlist!! I suspect you found things you'd forgotten about, some that no longer hold appeal and items that restored excitement to craft asap. You should feel pride with every tote dealt with and every trash bag you pitched. Both you and your house can take a huge breath of relief at the lightness you feel for a job well done!

So it was very freeing to let so much go and get excited for all I get to create! I was thinking I need to not buy any more supplies for the next while and just use what I have. I'm excited.
I'm in the midst of moving and packing 😅 my hubby is going how much stuff do you have down there? Lol I do have a dream box. One condition I made with him, I must take my Craftroom with us, we can start over with the rest of the house but not my Craftroom.

I am a new viewer of your channel. I like the containers from Joanne's and the vertical storage bins that open up also. You are so blessed to have such a large closet next to your craft room and have another storage closet in the room. Can I make a few suggestions? If you can, I would put shelves in the large closet, and if you can not put shelves in there, I would suggest you utilize the space differently. Your 3 high storage bins look like you could stack 2 high in the closet, and the neat bins that open and clasp in the front could go 5 high in the closet. Then remove the table, and it would be clear next to your desk and under the tv. This gives you a space for more creativity, and you might not feel so overwhelming. You will no longer be surrounded with supplies. I forgot the black containers with backstock these could go under the table with the machines on top. I hope you don't mind my suggestions. I am a subscriber to Clutterbug; she is an organizer who has pointed out that not all people organize the same as pinterest, she does crafts and has a show on HGTV. She has 4 styles and I kinda think you are a "Bee" like me. She has a test you can take if you'd like to check out her channel.

I was thinking about the closet and maybe doing more drawers in there that way I don't have all the tables and stuff so I appreciate that advice. Looks great, I would move that folding table out from under the TV, and stack your three high back up. It looked better than the table.

Mine is flooded right now! Ahh! You do have a bit is space. All my crafts are in bins from flood but lost all my caninets
