Michel Beauchamp Thank You Michel! I'm not so good at piano play, as so many people here on RUclips, but it doesn't matter, I like the creative process so much... :-) So, let's make something Michel! :-)
4:00 - That's Mr. Metheny's GR-300, including the pitch fades, one of my favourite sounds! Nice noodling. I'm even keener on getting this keyboard now. Thanks
Very nice!! I'm considering the purchase of the FA-07. I have a question (I'm not very good with sequencers): The first steps (drums+piano and bass) were somehow "saved" as a loop. Then you played various instruments, but they seem not to be recorded (added to the basic piano+drums+bass loop). So, am I right to assume that after you recorded the first three instruments, you simply PLAYED the loop and played the other instruments on it without recording anymore?
+RiffSus4 Hi, thanks, it's long time I did this song, but I remember, that you can switch the option (in "record menu window" when you start recording), that you want to record also the drum pattern track together with recording track. Before you can choose from different type of patterns and rhythm kits. So, same way I made the drum track in other videos too, for ex. here: ruclips.net/video/wdbaf9t7ock/видео.html Is it clear? Good luck! Cheers! :-)
+Filip Grüner Another question....Can I assign every PAD button to specific track number into Sequencer? So, in other words: "PAD button 1"->"Track1" , "PAD button10"-->"Track 10"..... I want play my song only whit PAD button and I want activate or deactivate a specific track during my loop performance. Thanks
+RiffSus4 :-) You should look into manual sometimes, as me ;-) I have also prepared one song as all track pattern, when I just mute or unmute different track. There is only this "track muting" possibility. So, if the track is unmuted, the pad is green, when is muted, the pad is green blinking. Would be nice (as Fantom so has), to activate or deactivate track so, that pad orange is simply lit or not. The pad lighting of muted tracks is sometimes quite hard for orientation during play... I hope soon I will demonstrate this function in song too...
Thank you for such nice words... :-) But I don't think really I play well... Noone never said me, I play well, until you... :-) Maybe I can play a some basics only with right hand, but with the left hand I can play more or less just octaves... And I can't play quickly... :-) When I was child, 2 years I went into the piano school - once a week, that's all. It was very unpleasant for me to play the classic etudes etc. I hate it... But we had at home always classic piano, so I sometimes play just for me, some simple improvisations. In 1991 I got my first synth - Kawai K1, and the Atari 1040 for sequencing, and that was motivating me to play more. From that time i play occasionally but always only at home. I love the synths, so there are periods of creativity, but now I have small doughter, so I have completely without time... :-) Thanks again and cheers! :-)
Hi Lucas, It's about 2 years ago, I didn't write anything about this song, every my play here are just simple momentary inspiration. I don't remember what I played there, some C7maj, F7maj then some transitions like some F7min, E down to C7maj back... I really don't remember, but it's possible to recontruct it by watching this video I think... Cheers and enjoy your recordings too! :-)
Adrian Ford Thanks! Yes, I like FA-06 very much. I have had many other brands. Korg, Yamaha, Kurzweil, EMU etc... Everyone has own taste. I remember on many fantastic sounds from every instruments I had. But I was always a most impressed from Roland sounds. For me sounds like "hi-end", maybe not so "hard" not so "aggresive" sounds, but "fine" and detailed. I like for example Roland e.bass sounds. When I was searching many and many of them form another synths, I was buying many "only E-bass collections" for Motif XS with large samples... But nothing works for me like one FA supernatural e-bass sound. I can play it for an hour and can't stop. It's like real for me! Accurate round, strong, thick, nice, warm and with all the behaviours sounds simply perfect and tasty. And I like also the programing in FA-06. It's like a toy. Someone prefer more "profi look" type of machine, I like this shiny FA-06 "toy"... :-) But what is most important, I think is, I have now only this one instrument. Maybe If I have another, as I had some years ago, I simply couldn't be so happy from all of them. I have enough time to play with this "one". I have passion to dive into deep of synth possibilities of this only "one" not just play the presets. And that's the way to be happy. Maybe don't care, if it is Korg, Yamaha, etc. Just play in showroom and realy search, what you like most, but overall, not only sounds, everything... Buy it and then forget on other you have seen... :-) Don't hear the tests on net, don't read what people say, take the instrument what you realy like! I mean, if it is any Casio, but if You like it for ANY reason, go for it, go there, where the heart wants to go. I believe it will make you happy... I like the Roland stuff, but I was buying many years what I got recomended... Until now... :-)
wow man thanks for such a detailed response. I'm super excited now. one more question. can it be used as midi too for native instrument sounds for instance?

Could you write down the chords you used? I want to try this arrangement myself.

Yes, it's possible. But, just one thing for this case - it has no aftertouch...
+Filip Grüner Can you use that toggle for the aftertouch nuance ?
+Bret Hedenkamp The "toggle" you mean the joystick? I'm not using aftertouch, but I think, everything can be mapped on nearly each of controllers...
Could you tell me whats the song name?
HI, I have no name for this song. I created it in 27.1.2015, so the name of this song for me is "SONG 20150127"... That's it... Cheers! :-)
Why ? Only one tune , " rather bour' ing " over& over ,still ' credit for trying ,( cheers to you .
