- I was skeptical when these first released as to how they would feel and sound but decided to give them a go anyway. Probably wouldn't have gotten them if I had known that they have the same stem issues as MX Clear stems too. But I have to say that I am very pleasantly surprised with how they feel and sound with CRP. They are really a mid-way between MX Browns and Clears in terms of their tactility.

Got mine today and only typed on them a bit but seem to be not as crisp as an Creme Blue Pro but not as long as a Akko Purple. I haven't used Cherry Browns in a while so. I do like the feel thus far and the sound is louder than expected on bottom out. I'm using a Neo65 (FR4, all foams) and it's almost poppy on bottom out with PBTfan keycaps. From what I can tell no damage to my caps but definitely difficult to get on. I too would have probably passed if I had known about the stem, I understood it had been changed and that was one of the upgrades. No bent pins or any damage in my 2 packets... perhaps I got some that weren't in the bathtub!
Noticed a mid way between browns and clears too. But man those stems will run your pockets 😂 nice bro
thanks bro! thinking of picking up those geon stem trimmers just so i can try gmk out with these switches but damn its a bit too much effort for now😂

Nice video, very great sound, Do you have anything to say about the smoothness and weighting of these springs? Im considering picking some up for myself. Also since they have the stem issue like clears have you experienced any damage to keycaps? Thanks
springs are better than hyperglides for sure. i think they could use a spring swap and a relube job but i am content enough with the way they sound/feel out of the box.

Wondering how the tactility is different. Do you think it is because of factory lubing or usage of a different leaf?
might be the factory lube job but definitely feels less tactile than the clears
I also have the mx purples and yes, they are indeed less tactile than my mx clears. I even have a much heavier spring in my clears but the mx purples are nowhere near as tactile. I believe it's due to the factory lubrication because the stems of clears and mx purples are pretty much identical from what I can see.
