For sheer entertainment, this is my favorite Lovebites video ("Raise Some Hell" for sheer fun; "Swan Song" for breadth of technical mastery and composition; "Mastermind 01" for cleaning-out sinus infections).
OK, Band Maid and Lovebites. Amongst current bands they are my #1 and #2, and the size of the "admiration factor difference" is fairly small. Ignore the segment of the press -- and other assorted idiots -- that are trying to create a schism between the two fan bases (e.g. "you have to choose" -- like hell you do). Listen to both, go to their shows, buy their merchandise, support them both fervently! We are blessed to have two bands this stupendous playing and maturing before us. Let no one discourage you from giving them all of the time and attention that you can. (Certain press miscreants/village idiots are trying to create a defile between the fan bases of Band Maid and Babymetal as well -- same stupid situation, same response). In all likelihood, Band Maid will always be my favorite, and Lovebites will be the women in the car that are right on their tail.
nice variety of axes behind you but i especially love the violin bass you are playing in your intro as for the vid you cannot go wrong with LOVEBITES 🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🤘
It's so much fun to watch your reaction videos! Especially when you really like the music - you are so much in it emotionally - and btw Lovebites never - n e v e r !! - disappoints. And for me Miyako is the most outstanding musician I know - for sure. Nobody else is able to be versatile at that world class level both on classical piano (concert level) AND metal guitar. And with Midori probably the best and tightest metal guitar duo in the world right now. In these days Japan is an amazing place for metal music ....😀😀😀🤘🤘🤘👍👍👍
the anime is VLADLOVE - the blonde girl vampire is the main character whose name is mai vlad transylvania - a descendant of the translyvania family. still can't find any entire episodes on youtube. just a trailer and bits and pieces. too bad cuz i'd watch it
"Vlad Love" was the only anime I watched specially because of LOVEBITES' "Winds of Transylvania". 😂 Nice anime if you ask me and if you like anime in general and slapstick comedy in particular. In case you haven't watched Vladlove (the anime in this music video) yet, just beware that the clips aren't very representative of the series as a whole. It may seem like an action-packed adventure at first, but it's actually a *very* experimental series that's basically the director's pet project. The humor is very strange and some of the episodes are straight-up retellings of old European movies that have nothing to do with the plot. 7:04 -- Oh, and these wonderful ladies play a mix of heavy metal and power metal. This particular song leans more towards the speedy kind of power metal.
