Chance did an excellent job writing this song for the Ubisoft game called Skull & Bones. Home Free was contacted by Ubisoft to write them a song and Chance rose to the occasion. This was just a shortened version by them. Awesome job. 🎼🔥🎵🔥🎶🦋
Chance plays guitar in his solo songs and with Hound + Fox.
With Home Free, Chance played guitar in the “Born in the USA cover”
Austin played piano in his song “If I Met You Now”.
Tim plays piano for the Sweet and Low concerts.
Adam studied trumpet performance at University, but I think he’s only played it on one Home Free song. And I haven’t found it yet.
They have a Lyric video that is the full version. Chance actually wrote this.
Ubisoft heard their Sea Shanty Medley approached Home Free with the amazing opportunity to write a shanty for their upcoming game Skull And Bones. Chance is the sea shanty guy so he took that opportunity and did an amazing job 😊
First off, so flipping cool that Ubisoft asked Home Free to write a sea shanty for their game "Skull & Bones". Now onto the performance.... You can see how happy Chance is - taking lead and killing it! The octave lower rumblies by Tim... Austin playing the mandolin and kicking butt with the high harmonies... Opera Rob showing his stuff... and Adam's AMAZING beatboxing.

I loved the jaw drop at Tim's deep bass notes rumbling in there. They got the chance to do this because their "Sea Shanty Medley" video went viral and caught the eyes of the gaming community. They came to Home Free and asked if they would like to write a song for a "pirate themed" game. Chance jumped at the opportunity and as you heard, hit it out of the park with the outcome. Home Free was more than happy to record it, and the gamers loved it so much, they invited Home Free to come and introduce the song and the video game live at the gaming expo. YAY for Home Free!!!!!

Yes all of them can play instruments, Tim plays Piano, Chance plays any kind of guitar, Austin can play some piano and guitar and apparently now the mandolin like he was playing in this video, Rob plays saxophone, and Adam Rupp's primary instrument is trumpet, but he also plays drums, keyboard, and bass guitar.
Chance & Tim bass together is amazing, Chance did an outstanding writing song for the video. Chance actually play guitar in several of his solo videos. Adam plays trumpet & bass guitar, Tim & Austin play piano. Multi talented singers. Great reaction.
I hope Ubisoft releases that game and Home Free reap big benefits.

As other have commented, there is the full length recording lyric video. There’s also a live concert video or two from their recent European tour where they performed it live for their fans! That one is awesome!! Home Free was approached by Ubisoft to write a sea shanty for their upcoming game release for Skull & Bones after discovering their sea shanty medley went viral on TikTok during the pandemic. Chance, being a sea shanty enthusiast, wrote it and did he come through with a great one!
Have u checked out the lyric video? Its longer. An extra verse and chorus and another part of the brige. For the ubasoft opening they did a short version
I really like seeing this live version as it shows who is doing what parts. Tim & Chance are doing the really low notes in the beginning. Chance has his guitar & Austin is playing a mandolin. Adam is holding down the percussion sounds. And Austin & Rob are adding a fuller sound with their harmonies. Wish it was the longer version of the song.
Had to watch it twice... once zoomed in to your itty bitty frame... the jaw drop immediately from you was right on cue! The second time watched their video.

Im s happy to see you doing this. Tim's low at the beginning is absolutely crazy. Chance did amazing with writing this and it's so cool it will be in a video game. There is a Lyric version that is longer and it sounds awesome also, you would love it.

There is a live version they did on stage in Europe for the first time, Norway I believe and it is worth a look.
In an intro at one of their recent European concerts, Tim said that Chance had always had a fondness for sea shanties so that when Ubisoft contacted them for one they knew just who to write it.
By the way, I love your screen format! Too many reactors put the video on a 1" square with the rest of the screen being themselves. It's not that I don't want to see them but they could at least make it 50/50 (and most of 'em aren't as good looking as you or have your great grin!)
They all play at least one instrument - most of them play piano (Austin plays piano on his original "If I Met You Now" on his channel) and Adam Rupp plays several.

It is. Personally, I’m looking forward to Home Free’s official video. Tim said it’s been filmed and will be out closer to game launch.
As mentioned by others, definitely check out the Lyrics video, and check for a Live version from their recent European tour. Fans are still waiting on the guys to release their own 'Official' video which was rumored to be perhaps end of this year. The guys dressed up all pirate-y for their thumbnail so hoping they recorded in that attire. Couldn't be more thrilled for Chance. While Home Free might refer to him as their 'secret weapon' he, too often, is relegated to the background. Nice to see him proudly front and center receiving well-deserved accolades.

They are always out in the open is they use instruments. The song is for a video game and I guess it needed the instruments to be in the game. Chance did a top notch job writing the Sea Shanty. I wonder if Adam the D and D master player will try the skull and bones game.

There are more verses to this song. I believe they will give us a fuller version once the game is out. It is hooked up with UBISOFT as best I understand it.
