If I may make a suggestion:
Check out The Healing Room ASMR's videos. She adds rain sounds and music in post and has the video repeat three times: rain, music/ambiance, and voice only. Then watchers can do a timestamp jump to their preference.
It's a very user-friendly way of appealing to different tastes with regards to background sounds.
@@1994beigecamry idk I think it can decrease being recommended on youtube as your videos might be long but people watch only a small percentage. LEts say its 2 hours and people watch only 40 mins. While a shorter video they might watch half of it.
@@RapunzelASMR That's a fair concern. Maybe creators that do that could offer some insight into their analytics.
Speaking for myself, I believe that such timestamping increases the likelihood of replaying their favorite section. And several times have fallen asleep while the voice-only section plays which I presume "juices" the analytics a bit.
