Abusers look for survivors/people with trauma as easy victims, because their relationship will be familiar for them, making them easier to manipulate. Not to mention, toxic people pretend to be someone else to lure you in. Rudy didn’t advertise that he was a serial killer, ya know? She pretty explicitly puts the blame of that on Debs, and this is unfortunately a dominant view point that still harms survivors all the time

dexter didn't see him, travis just said there's gellar and pointed to where he saw him and dexter just went to where he pointed to go after him but he never actually saw him.

That twist got me first time I watched too. I really liked it. Some people swear they knew all along lol Going back so much makes sense, the whole writing on the wall would have been absolutely ridiculous if that hadn't been explained this way. Even back when Travis ran over that girl but it looked like Gellar had pushed his leg, that to me could be seen the same way we saw Rudy kill that guy with the pitchfork but it was really Dexter. @@73aguilera a lot of people like to say they saw things coming even when they didn't. this was nowhere near as obvious as something like fight club, and i'd bet most people didn't see it coming their first time seeing it. for whatever reason people just like strangers on the internet to think they're more intelligent than they actually are. personally i never understood why people would care what some random people in a comment section think of them, but i guess that's the world we live in.

I think it sometimes depends on what you've watched before. If you've watched a movie with the same twist , it's likely to occur you when you see it here.
a character with DID is hard to do its a balance of keeping the surprise as well as making sure it adds up. I thought they did a good job while others will not agree there is a movie with that as the twist and i was able to guess it within the first like 20 min of the movie so i spent the whole time waiting for the twist so i can see how it would feel lackluster to those who saw it coming.

This is one of my favourite seasons, but the revelation that Gellar was dead, even though it felt like we saw him really alive was a bit odd to me.

Upon re-watch you can see that Geller never really interacts with anyone except Travis.

the reason this one was so obvious cause 2 of my favorite tv shows have characters with did and it makes spotting it way more obvious
