This is a breathtaking game.. definitely not prefect, but 10x better then a lot of triple A games out there. congrats to that indie studio. Great review!
looks very similar to alienation, and i was really hooked on that game for a long time. was looking for something to replace it, and this looks like exactly like what i've been looking for. identical twin stick combat with more classes, skills, weapons, and locations. alienation only had 4 decent sized maps, with 4 different missions on each map to change things up a little. and people just played those 18 or however many missions over and over and over, it's highly addictive. seemed to have a decent size player base, so i never understood why they never added more maps, classes, skills, etc, everyone playing would have bought all that stuff up in a second.
I picked up Game Pass hoping to play The Ascent, but the build on there isn't wholly functional. FPS dips to straight-up slideshow levels, makes my computer run hotter than any other game I've got, and both on low visual settings despite not normally having to reduce settings in games. It's a shame.

As usual, another great review.. and that’s why we’re subs.. but yes, as a blade runner, cyber punk, dystopian future setting goes this game fucking is hitting on all cylinders.. the beautiful grittiness and sound scape alone set this game into cult classic status for me.. this maybe be a game many people miss or skip, but the people that sink their teeth in are going to fall head over heels in love with..

Thanks for the great review. I like the genre and the setting/era, so will definately look into this.
I was looking for a game to get me through until Diablo 4 and this looks to be the one. Thanks for the review you have never steered me wrong. Love it so far!
This is a breathtaking game.. definitely not prefect, but 10x better then a lot of triple A games out there. congrats to that indie studio. Great review!
Indie game? God damn...
It's astonishingly detailed. The city itself is a masterpiece.
looks very similar to alienation, and i was really hooked on that game for a long time. was looking for something to replace it, and this looks like exactly like what i've been looking for. identical twin stick combat with more classes, skills, weapons, and locations.
alienation only had 4 decent sized maps, with 4 different missions on each map to change things up a little. and people just played those 18 or however many missions over and over and over, it's highly addictive. seemed to have a decent size player base, so i never understood why they never added more maps, classes, skills, etc, everyone playing would have bought all that stuff up in a second.
I picked up Game Pass hoping to play The Ascent, but the build on there isn't wholly functional. FPS dips to straight-up slideshow levels, makes my computer run hotter than any other game I've got, and both on low visual settings despite not normally having to reduce settings in games. It's a shame.
Please let this fill the void that Cyberpunk 2077 left in my heart.
It looks like it could do that...
Oh it does! The soundtrack, graphics and gameplay. This is a more cohesive game.
Fills the void when waiting for Cyberpunksfirst big dlc.
I've been so excited for this one! The environment looks so awesome!
I'm always on Steam checking for Co-Op games I can play with my kids. picked this up, not one for them, but having sunk 10hrs in already, I absolutely love it. Stunning visuals, awesome sound/music, great GREAT gunplay. :)
Been looking for a new Co Op this may be fit that need.
"Ill buy THAT for a dollar!"
Dead or alive, you’re coming with me 😉
Acg , you are the best reviewer, i've ever watched, your reviews are genuine , your delivery is honest and real, the language you use is at times funny , and descriptions are original. Look forward to all your videos , based on what u say gives me the confidence to get the game.
I have never played a twin-stick shooter in my life, but this review has convinced me to give this title a try, looks fun.
I look forward to trying this on game pass. Then sending the love and buying a copy if I love it.
You're already paying for GamePass. Don't be dumb.
@@Mr_BluSky you get more great games by supporting great games. If you poured your passion into something would you not want to feel the love.
@@stevenroberson5990 you have a point
It's pretty broken on gamepass at the moment. At least for me. So many bugs. Also there is no raytracing or DLSS on the gamepass version but they are all in the steam version lol
@@Mr_BluSky it called not being a roach and thinking your entitled to evything somebody doesn't ever tip properly .....🤔
Looks beautiful, we need more cyberpunk games.
I've not been to this channel before and I was impressed by the interesting details provided in this review, unlike the other cookie-cutter reviews I watched previous to this. Thanks for the great content.
thats why i watch his stuff first 😁
Many thanks for the buy tip! I’m a sucker for twin-sticks. Great review! You had me at altered carbine :-))
Another nice in-depth review. I appreciate your time man
