@@HotRodHippie Good that it works but that would be an inconvenience for sure. Maybe your review will prompt them to make some sort of adjustment or change.
I have not observed any different distance on these (I have both) compared to other bluetooth headphones or earbuds. I also noticed that the Frees do not have the same volume of sound as the Pros...for me the Frees are useless if I am driving my tractor or using a weedeater...even at max volume they are barely audible. With the Pros- they always end up getting tugged out of my ears. Same here with the irritation in my ear canal. Tech support tried to help with fit suggestions. Ultimately they did offer to reimburse me the full cost.
In reference to what you said about the pro 2.0 being weighted to the side whenever you're taking them off and letting them hang on your neck.... what you're supposed to do is when you take them off to hang on your neck, hook them to each other! Use the ear hooks and just as you take them off and put them on your chest hook them together and then when you are ready to use it again unhook it and put it back in your ears and they stay put! This is actually why I went with the pro 2.0 instead of the wireless version... If you need to take the wireless ones off to talk or something then you have nowhere to put them except back in a case! With the 2.0 you just let them hang there for the minute or two you don't need them and then put them back in!
That is exactly what I have taken to doing and it works well. The lopsided nature bothers me more in general use while they are in my ears. However I've gotten used it and rarely think about it now. 👍👍 Coming from the Xtras which magnetized together and were well balanced this took some getting used to is all.
I really don't like the Free for a few reasons: -Ear bud foam is really hard, even after warming them in your hands or your pockets, so puts a lot of pressure on your ear canal and makes them hurt. -The white noise on the buds is very loud compared to most other wireless headphones. It also cuts in and out when scrolling through RUclips if you have the preview option enabled, and between videos in a playlist. I would have preferred if it just stayed on. -The blinking light on them reflects off of my welding hood when it's down, which is a deal breaker for me. They're all minor issues, but together they're enough to make my job more annoying, rather than less. I'll stick with regular ear plugs/muffs and just hum to myself lol.
Absolutely is. I should have said that. I think headphones of any kind is. I did it because I just didn't have enough hours in the day to get this review done, and only did so on the highway when it doesn't seem like as large of an issue imo. I should have put a disclaimer on that part though. ,👍👍

Essex Rotary How are you liking the pro 2.0’s? Does the over ear loop get in the way when wearing sunglasses? Also, any reason you didn’t go for the all wireless Free version?
It's likely that the louder pair is more sensitive (ie. less power needed to reach a given volume), or they may present an easier load to your phone. Maybe both. They look like nice products. Wish I could have music in my ears. Makes me feel paranoid. Here's the irony - I run a headphone forum.

The NRR means they reduce the noise by that value. So with sufficiently loud ambient sounds you could still be in danger of hearing damage. Thank you 👍👍

I have a few projects planned that should start soon. The biggest hurdle currently is to make the content people want is going to require more space than I have. Kind of a "Cart before the Horse" problem. I need a larger shop space to make more in depth metal videos, but I can't afford that until the channel grows more. I've been working for some months on making arrangements to get something lined up, but nothing happens quickly enough.
I made a 15 minute review full of the detailed explanation of both the Positives and Negatives of this product. I used them for weeks to form my opinions. This took two days of work to edit, was filmed with thousands of dollars in camera gear, and edited on a custom built computer to produce the best quality I could manage. All that said, why WOULDN’T I use an affiliate link? IF people are going to buy the product anyway after seeing this review, why shouldn’t I make a small percentage off of that? No one HAS to use the link. They choose to, with clearly disclosed knowledge of what it is. So maybe, just maybe, they actually WANT to support what I do and help me continue to do it? While also getting a product that they have decided is worth it for them. I list Affiliate Links for products I think are complete garbage and flat out tell people “NEVER BUY THIS PRODUCT” because, if they are going to anyway, why not? Producing a quality RUclips channel is expensive, time consuming, and RUclips Adsense does NOT pay the bills. And if I sound angry, I am. This is insulting my ethics on a deep level. I pride myself on producing quality and honest reviews, and I never pull punches. To the level that I know for a fact I piss off companies when I speak about their products. Some people value my opinion as a result, and some companies (like IsoTunes) see the value in that as well.
@@HotRodHippie Hi. Sorry about getting you all upset. You made a small disclaimer in the beginning of the video, where you say you are not getting payed in anyway... I don't find that 100% correct, considering the affiliate link. I would add "but, if you desided to purchase any of the products please consider using the affiliate link below, as it helps my channel".
@@mikkellund6355 I usually say exactly that in many videos. Sorry if I didn’t. I honestly cannot remember if I was a part of their affiliate program when this video went live, so it may have had different links then. It has been over a year. But the link clearly discloses it (you realized somehow obviously). A sponsored video and affiliate payments are vastly different things in my opinion. No one has to buy using the links. They can very easily just go buy via their own means or even go into a store and purchase physically. And legally affiliate programs are not considered sponsorship. I make a small amount of money when people choose to use the link. That isn’t nearly the same as being paid to make the video. I know for a fact that link is very rarely used, but why wouldn’t I put it there on the off chance someone does? This video has thousands of views and I think I my affiliate link has been used less than a dozen times, ever.
@@HotRodHippie I think we agree that it should have been declared. And that was the entire point. Thank you for the review it was most helpful. I'm outside of the US so purchasing via the link doesn't make sense for me at least.

Thanks for stopping by. Mekare rocks. 👍
When are you going to get back to metal working? I know it takes longer to make those videos but they are far more interesting.

But you are getting paid via the ISOTunes Affiliate Link !?! "This is cool product2 => more people buy it => you are getting payed more?

Hi.

I think we agree that it should have been declared. And that was the entire point.
Thank you for the review it was most helpful. I'm outside of the US so purchasing via the link doesn't make sense for me at least.
@@mikkellund6355 I will make a point to try and clearly disclose moving forward. I have been doing so already but you are the first person to raise this point. I understand it so I will make an effort.
