    Random Facts:
    Apollo Ghost (Unicool VDM-10) has a successor called the Unicool X1. It shares parts from VSETT and Mukata.
    Apollo Ultra was based on the Unicool X11-DDM. The Fastest scooter Apollo ever had.
    There's a scooter called the Daxys Bandicoot that looks like a earlier version of the City 2022.
    Another scooter called the Punk Rider Pro looks like a "new gen" replacement to the current Phantom.
    Apollo's scooters are manufactured by Shenzhen Z.S.F Technology Co. [Apollo Air Pro (ZSF9), Apollo City / City Pro (ZSF4141/ZSF4142), current Apollo Air (ZSF3151) and Apollo Pro (A1200).]

      @@justinmah1015We know it’s not remotely close as it costs only a third of the price of a Pro. You can do whatever you want with your money, but to say you’re getting a value at nearly $4k is laughable…

    *LOVE THIS REVIEW Paul!!!!!!!!!!!!!!* I love my Apollo 2024 Dual Motor. I love the Apollo channel as well as they saved me alot of money. So many STEP BY STEP tutorials I used one of the tutorials to repair my Dual Motor. I dropped my Apollo on to its handle and severed couple throttle wires in the handle assembly. Not under warranty. So I disassembled handled via there great tutorial. I took apart and soldered the 2 wires that were severed. Back on the road in an hour! I always use my regen rarely use my reg brakes :) ... *Cheers😊IcloneFun🤗*

    Apollo is probably the most passionate about scooters, the brand has a soul and a purpose.
    The latest Pro and Go models are the most beautiful scooter designs I've seen.
    I'd love to ride those refined models.
    I really appreciate their attention to detail, innovative spirit, the open sessions with the community, Beta programs, Upgrade paths, etc.

    Nothing beats hearing Paul talk about scooters. This couldn't have come at a better time. I was thinking of getting an Apollo scooter. I can't decide between the Go and City. Or am I better off with an ebike in NYC?🤔 So much to think about.

    • @chaxologist2024
      @chaxologist2024 6 месяцев назад +4

      Get the Go, the latest and most advanced model of Apollo perfectly designed for portability! You could easily and safely swerve through traffic and in between traffic-jammed cars with its narrower, 20-inch handlebars which still retains impressive stability!
      The Apollo City will be a huge pain in the @$$ to get through the subway turnstiles with those comically wide, 26-inch handlebars (My Segway F2 Pro at 22 inches already struggles to fit through the turnstiles that I have to lift the front and angle it to get through).
      Also, whether you have the Go or the City, Manhattan traffic still makes it extremely tricky to just run through red lights so the bigger, faster scooter wouldn't win with especially with the latter's wide handlebars making it significantly less safe to swerve or fit between cars in a traffic congested area!
      Even with my Segway F2 Pro, its 22-inch handlebars are sometimes a bit too wide for me to split through traffic congested cars that at any moment, I would've had an accident.
      The Apollo Go's narrower, 20-inch handlebars could easily prevent that dilemma and help inspire confidence! Getting the Apollo City would just increase unnecessary burden and far more likely increase the chances of accidents in that manner due to its much wider handlebars!
      As for ebike, its way too complicated with so many to choose from and its cumbersome to carry up and down stairs in an apartment and tricky to store.
      Trust me, I'm a daily commuter of NYC and speak from experiences!

      Yeah, I really like the Go a lot. The only thing missing (if you like that sort of thing) is adrenaline from straight-line acceleration. But it’s still tons of fun and nice to live with.

    Obviously a hell of a LOT of work went into this. Thanks Paul 👍 you are a legend!
    I've been so close to upgrading from my 2022 City Pro once the Pro was unveiled, but then Eloi revealed the 2024 Explore and I fell in love with the design like nothing else on the market (That removable hump / camel battery and turn / brake signals in the foot pedals was a piece of Eloi genuis & craftsmanship) Pity no V3 was unveiled with the project now on hold. I would hope it returns sometime in 2025 maybe slightly twraked as it didnt lokk to be a cheap model (maybe on par with the Pro in terms of pricetag)
    I cannot wait to see what Mac, Chris & Eloi have cooking for Q3/4 of this year, I am excited to see the Phantom replacement (perhaps that is the A11 project?)

    I like Apollo scooters and all but my Apollo Explore had the electronic throttle stop working after around 800 miles. They told me it wasn’t covered under warranty and I needed to buy a new one. I bought the new one and it was working normally. 100 miles later, the battery went out. Wasn’t worth replacing the battery so I gave it to a friend who is trying to come up with some way of salvaging it. Even after all of that, I still like Apollo products and will be looking to purchase a new model in the next year or so.

    • @ESG-ElectricScooterGuide
      @ESG-ElectricScooterGuide  6 месяцев назад +1

      The main thing that I’ve seen go wrong with batteries is that if you get some down time (like a dead throttle) and end up storing it for a long time with low charge, the battery can get damaged or even go to such a low voltage that the BMS locks you out because it can be dangerous to re-charge a battery once the voltage goes below a certain level. I hope your friend is able to do something with it. It’s a future classic scooter! -Paul

    Apollo, please give us an Apollo Go "max" something with 20-30% more battery capacity. I'll buy two of them immediately!! I love the model, I just need a little bit more range. It doesn't matter to me if it's 49lbs or 53lbs but with most tested ranges falling in at 18-20mi, it comes up about 5-7 miles short for me, when I'm not able to charge at work for some reason.

    I thought they discontinued the city single motor in 2024 as the GO would be too similar in function. I have what I believe to be a city single motor 2023- it has the turn signals and the awesome stem latch, and it’s definitely a single rear motor. I bought it in February of 2024 to replace my turboant X7 pro (what a piece of junk) and I got one of the last city single’s before they discontinued selling em

    The scooter is a good idea. I recently acquired one. It's fun. For short distances, it's great. I've watched several videos on your channel. It's very instructive. It's not related to you, but nevertheless, in a normal economy, where people prosper, the main means of transport should be the gasoline-powered car. I know that in developing countries, where poverty is a social scourge, this form of transport is very common, as in Vietnam. For me, it's a step in the same direction as the "own nothing and be happy" policies and the "container" or "log cabin" real estate market. The public popularization of alternative means of travel resembles a NATO counter-mobility operation preceding a war. It's great fun, but it's a serious loss of autonomy.
