- Hi I'm Calzee! After checking out The Division a couple months ago, i wanted to see how the second game compares. The Division 2 actually released with a fairly positive reaction even though i didn't hear much about it. So i'm intrigued to see if it still holds up now?

I produce gaming content on my channel, consisting of many story games, from old to new releases. I focus on videos where I give an in depth review and my thoughts on a certain game/series.
There's created playlists for each game series I've put out videos on, including every assassins creed, far cry, resident evil, etc. Some of my all time favorites being Red Dead Redemption 2, The Last Of Us Part 1/2, many Assassin's Creed games and Ghost Of Tsushima.
If you'd like to recommend any story games I've yet to check out, let me know in the comments of a video!

there is so much to do in division 2 if you are first starting
For sure 👌
Freshie here. Remember my buddys putting in HOURS on the first. Wish luck 🙏
I hate when people say this no disrespect but any game once you beat all the stuff there’s nothing to do just play if you still enjoy
Obviously a lot to do any AAA-game when you're first starting. The question is, is the gameplay loop well made? Or is the end-game just repetitive nonsense...
I recently started playing this about a week ago. My god is there a stupid amount of content for newbies. Picked it up dirt cheap too
So true, that was different from the first game
lol as a division 2 "vet" at shd 2.5k or so with all raids done flawless (isnt much to brag with but still) i dont have to watch the video to answer this with a resounding yes. with how much game there is its criminally cheap too.
Definitely
Found it for $10 on a keyshop and Im downloading it rn lol
yet you still chose to brag you egotistical jackass
I didn't know that Stephen Merchant reviewed games as well. 😊
Makes sense, I mean we’re both from the same county
Returning player just downloading now on ps5 looking forward to experiencing the journey again.
nice!
One thing that makes this game interesting: it's on steam and xbox(on disc) €9 to €10 for the base game(10 on steam and 9 for the xbox on phisical though the digital version is basicly release price for some reason)
An addition: the warlords ultimate edition(has also the base game and other things) is actually here in Holland on sale for €15 so peeps reading this and if you want to play it on xbox: NOW IS YOUR CHANCE TO PLAY IT CHEAP✌️😉
day one player, love this game still
Picked it a few years back, but didn't play much. I want to restart it, should be fun.
hope you enjoy!
I reach level 40 yesterday 😅😅
i guess they saying it's free now to reach level 40, you reach it without buying the Expansion right?
I bought this game 3 days ago, I agree the game iz great. But sadly people say that there is the upcoming seasonal character gonna ruin the game. There is no point playing?
I haven’t heard that but I highly doubt it will, I still recommend it
@@Calzeeit’s going to kill the game. Can only use your main agent on new gear for two weeks out of every 14. Absolute trash.
@@dannjp75basically there forcing everyone to restart too play the content again so no one gets bored
@@dannjp75 They went back on that, due to feedback received!
TLDR... yes you should play in 2024.
True but people want to know what to expect
@@Calzee I understand.
Yoo Calzeeee! 🤙
Do u need ps plus to play this game? If so I might get it
Yeah you do
@@Calzee damn that sucks
I believe it's only free games that don't require ps plus. That's how it works on xbox; presumably it's the same for PS
I'm new in this game, i'm at level 22 and so far this game is good, are this game can do PvP?
Yeah there are pvp modes
@@Calzee woahh, i should try this with my friend xD
Is it still super hard? I played at launch and I didn't like putting 2 machine gun mags into a guys head while he slow walks at me with a shotgun
I wouldn’t say it’s that hard anyway compared to the first game. But it’s basically the same difficulty as launch
The games default “Story” difficulty isn’t that hard and once you reach lvl 40 everything levels off.
The true end game of course gets harder but this is an RPG shooter so of course enemies have a lot of health.
It’s definitely not a realistic shooter in that sense but it creates epic crazy battles.
To answer yur question. One word.....NO.......broken game everytime they "fix" it.. Nerfing pve, to "balance" it, no communication from the devs.. Or if they do communicate little info, leaving major room for speculation. Jumping on "bugs" that benefit players immediately and leaving bugs in game that ruin the experience..constant disconnects...dont waste yur time..
I don’t know, i had a decent experience enough to recommend it and it seems like many others are coming back to it
@@CalzeeI’m enjoying it a lot, started playing 2 days ago and there is so much too do! And I’m on ps5 no performance issues at all
Never forget to let people know what platform you play on. Most problems ar PC problems. Not saying console doesnt have its frustrations they are nowhere near the same experience 🤷🏽♂️. The game is fun, its hefty in content, and it has a dedicated community that will always be there regardless of the fact they dont have a perfect game to play 😉
* If you are ready to invest hundreds of hours in some pve fun for months and like to tinker with min/maxing RPG builds: Yes.
(Heavy grind, atrocious loot mathematics, need to watch hours of youtube guides and half of the youtubers got no clue, game is 30% quartermaster simulation. Nevertheless tons of PVE content over time and interesting build options).
* If you want a cohesive dystopian story: Go play Division 1.
(Div1 is the OG content in a world metropolis with failed systems after a bio-terrorism attack, it has thick atmosphere.
Div2 takes all the things like body bags, bloody streets and mayhem and still achieves to feel like a sunny afternoon stroll.)
* If you want a grown up spy/tactical-team story: No.
(Div2 story content is like a corny spy paramilitary soap opera for teenagers.)
* If you love pvpve or pvp as the endgame: No.
(Because of the RPG roots, this is for 99% of the players more a matter of numbers than a matter of skill. It ends players chicken dancing in circles around each other shooting at short distance till one drops. Or teamshotting single players as a 4-stack. Oh, and cheaters are rampant.)
Division 1 is superior in atmosphere and gun sounds, Division 2 is good only on customization and builds.
Still broken after 6 years and the devs are screwing everyone over with seasonal characters. The game WILL be dead in October
Heard about this, yeah that is a shame. We’ll see how it goes
short answer: No.
Long answer: Ubisoft. NO.
How come? Just because it’s Ubisoft?
@@Calzee They botched the game. So much more potential.
Erm. NOin short terms Division 2 is not worth playing in 2024 or ever. Wait for Division 3
I would say it is to be honest
Is div 3 confirmed?
@@EmpireZzzz the team that is behind Star Wars Outlaws will work on The Division 3 once they release the SW game. So I don't think TD3 is nowhere near to be a thing XD
What, another 3 years? No. Get into the game and learn the mechanics
@@EmpireZzzzyes. 2028
Shortly - YES!
