- This video we share with you our first experience with our new semi automatic air rifles my friend CJ has the stock version I have a modified version which is about 20% stronger like comment and subscribe if you’re new
Your buddy was smart to put tape on his like that. Instead of walking around with a air rifle that looks exactly like a real rifle.
It is smart but theres nothing stopping someone from putting orange tape on a real gun so its kinda useless
Open carry is a thing this is America
It doesn’t matter if there is orange tape. A grown man with a rifle walking around and shooting shit will garner the response of me and probably most of my neighbors Coming out and confronting them with very real rifles. Don’t be stupid don’t openly carry and act carelessly with replicas j guarantee you will get this response everywhere you go.
Edit lmfao bold of you to assume the cops will arrive within 15 minutes. No one in law enforcement cares enough to respond before shit goes down around here dude you ether deal with dangerous situations yourself or someone gets hurt.
@@TheAsianOfChaos why would you confront him with your “real” rifle? If someone pesting with an air rifle bothers you call the cops. The fact that you would even consider a confronting some kid with an air rifle using your “real” rifle is the reason our 2nd amendment is in jeopardy. Stupid comment… you probably shouldn’t own a gun.
@Greg thank you for saying that to the wise guy bubba 🤡🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
I use mine with Nikko Stirling 3-9X 40 MountMaster, 1/4 MOA optics, perfectly zeroed at 30 yards, it's spot on.
I've also added teflon tape and some o-rings IN and ON all the fittings inside the gun as it leaks some air here and there. It's perfect now. With H&N Excite PROMETHEUS pellets, it's really precise. You just can't miss. I've also added a 1/2-28 NAPA 4003 24003 "FUEL FILTER" on it...It cuts the higher frequencies of sound out and it's quieter. If you do so, be sure to place an o-ring on the barrel just before the "oil filter", so that you won't unscrew the barrel if it's too tight (yes, the barrel can be unscrewed).
Do you think it could make a good backyard squirrel shooter?
🔥
@@northtexansquid5678 check my latest videos. I've modified it. I've reached 1018fps with 9.1 grains pellets, but I could only record a 906fps shot because of camera problems. I'll make a new video soon.
But yes, you can. If your scope AND the gun are perfectly leveled and you separate your pellets by weight so that they're all equally distributed (example, a tin can of the pellets I use range from 0.56 to 0.59 grams), you can't miss a single shot once zeroed.
excellent job explaining what you were doing to that lady.
It’s always an advantage to have a semi auto air rifle when dealing with skidish animals like iguanas. As soon as sense danger, they’ll seek shelter real quick. So ya, good tool to work with, when it comes to follow up shots....Happy hunting guys 😎🙏🦎👍
yes any low power mill dot scope, 3x9 is good. mine shoot well out 50 yards. after 200 rounds my shots got wide, I found my barrel was loose. shimmed it and all the screws and Im back in business.
Imagine waking up at home and looking out your back door and seeing a bunch a dudes walking around with what looks like real Guns
What could possibly go wrong with a AR-15 look alike air gun? You've got more courage than I do.
The orange tape is a great idea
Yah
I think the orange is required. Walking around a neighborhood without it is a good way to get killed.
@@wjhjr1415 I would definitely put orange on mine if I was doing that job. I think AR copies are a terrible idea, the air guns that look like air guns should scare less people.
Your interaction with the citizen was very professional. Nice job.
No it wasn’t. Professionalism would have been completely pained or age weapons and not walking into back yards with replica firearms shooting into trees. What they did was legally worthy of a armed response they are lucky that’s not what they got
@@TheAsianOfChaos I was only referring to the “interaction “, not the surrounding circumstances that you are talking about.
The first one who started this all must be verry big by now ! annyway if you see a few of this guys movies you almost see them all ;-)
I think you should get some magnetic company signs to let people know and good for getting word out for new customers ,number two I like the neon tape on weapon just my thoughts doing excellent job on educating the people
You being able to get that close. A Diana Chaser would be awesome for this. Great shooting!
Yo guys I was waiting for this
First view my guy!!!
2nd here
You are da bomb Iguana man love the videos
ruclips.net/video/6YiHE39HTxk/видео.html
Way fun.
worked great!
I put a utg scope on mine and it’s worked out great. I didn’t even remove the iron sites. Just folded them down.
i like holigraphic heads up displays. just paint the target with the dot, pull the trigger and the target just goes away. fast target accuazition and accurate.
Iguana Man as others have stated you can for sure mount a scope on your rifle just make sure you get scope rings to match your scopes tube size and are made for picatinny rails. Second it would be real nice to have a chronograph to know what speed your pellets are leaving the muzzle and then use a ballistics/trajectory program to set-up the zero using your rifles pellets speed and b.c. Hawke's Chairgun Pro for pc would give you the ability to know what distance to zero your scope. However knowing the approximate speed of your pellets if you place a scope on your rifle and zero it to hit at between 28 and 30 yards it will be more than likely hit a half inch kill zone from about 14 to 32 yards. The best way to zero your rifle without the above is to set-up a steady table and chair and sand bag or front rest and zero your rifle to hit at 28 to 30 yards. Then place a cardboard box up with a target and move it at five yard increments from the muzzle out to say 40 to 45 yard. Then note how high or low it hits. Then if you have a scope with say mil dots you can use them for reference points for holdover. Here is one of the UTG bug buster scope some have mentioned. And a review of the rifle you bought. www.airgundepot.com/airgunscopes.html?sort=salepriceasc&manufacturer=UTG ruclips.net/video/ibjvkR2b16Y/видео.html&ab_channel=ExpertAirgunReviews%2FAirgunWeb%2FAirgunWebTV
Get a red dot like a Sig Romeo 5. Also get a strap to carry your gun so you can your hands free to pick up iguanas when you’re not shooting. That way you don’t have to put your gun on the ground.
I’d go variable power 1-4x24 or 1-6x24. Can use like a red dot for close or zoom when they are hiding in cover.
Yes, you can put any rifle scope on this as it has a pic rail, red dot as well. I suggest an LPVO
ANY rifle / air rifle is made to fit a scope on , what kind will depend what is available for the price you can afford .
Put a trijicon reflex red dot sight on those air rifles. No need for a full scope on them their for close range. The red dot will work way better and you will have a faster aim withe a better sight picture for close up shots.
I'd try a knock off acog on the rifle. Not over powering zoom and clear sight picture. They're like $60-80 on ebay.
Mount your scope give it adjusted for your eye relief do not put your eye on the scope set it on a bean bag shoot your paper Target and use the adjustments on the scope to move the crosshairs over the hole that you made once done your scope is sighted in
Mike , thats professionel? Oh man , now i know why this is illegal here were i live . Because off people like you .
Looks good of ores a scope always improves your shots.
You have a new rifle and you have to get use to it and the rifle has to be broke in and you also have to find out what brand and size pellet your rifle likes.
Oh hell ya!!!
My favorite sight on my real AR at the moment is the swampfox tomahawk lpvo.
Get a cooler with ice for storage.they are falling out of the van and sitting in heat. Sloppy just sloppy. Badass though i would love this for a job.
What does the air rifle cost?
How do you increase the power on the hpa
Yes
I have seen so many of these videos and I'm amazed that I haven't seen a cop show up. 911 caller "there is a black man walking around the neighborhood with an assault rifle". I just cant believe that call hasn't been made. I guess it just goes to show as long as your wearing a yellow vest no one questions anything you do.
Yes u can put a scope on it
I am looking at this rifle for animal control with our chickens. We have some ferrel dogs or coyotes will this rifle dispatch them? I've read folks have used air guns on hogs but not this specific one. I WAS VERY impressed with how your crew did with them and how your manager did with the lady who wondered who was murdering God's creatures.
Scope it for sure all you need is a 6 power
I bought one of those as a bundle kit with a hand pump and a sig red dot. I also have a mcx co2 177 that I bought the hpa bottle conversion kit for, great air guns. What modification did you do to get 20% more power?
Did you ever find out what mod?
@@deemann5308 no, he never answered me.
It was clearly stated in the video, geez
Definitely add a “red dot “ for quick shooting! I would recommend looking into a Edgun Leshey since they are semi auto also.
Like the name norman hi im norman also lol
its only $2000 +
There really expensive
Sig has one that's supposed to mount that comes with the kit
The leshiys are very expensive. The Sig they're using I just looked at today and there are about three hundred bucks. Considerably cheaper.
You should put some more orange tape on your rifle so that you keep peace with the locals. I really like the idea of your safety vests!
One thing I like about your videos is that you explain why and how iguanas are impacting the environment. I am also happy that you guys are finally wearing a vest with your logo on it. Having the proper identification makes for less headaches from the public who sometimes don't understand what you are doing and it also helps when being approached by law enforcement agencies. I do like the fact that the ninja guy put that tape on his rifle which makes it easier to identify it as a non firearm.
Maybe adding red tips and not shooting out of a car and driving around with your rifle sticking out might help you avoid problems in the future
are you color blind
@@beanosmeanos8650 no iam not
@@beanosmeanos8650 are you in favor of idiots brandishing replica firearms like idiots on other peoples property?
@@TheAsianOfChaos nothing they did was illegal though. I don’t see the problem.
@@trevor6433 they went on private property. That is illegal.
I'm dieing. Shooting out the window with what looks like an AR while driving lol that's how you get in trouble 🤣
True
I'm Dying at how you spelled DYING 😭😹
Seems like a poor choice because of the looks of it
Also something I did to help accuracy was take a drill bit and by hand spin it through each port of the mag belt. Just enough to knock down the height of the pellet retaining dimples but not completely cut them off. This helped reduce the skirt damage on the pellets and allows them to fly more accurately
Looks like nice set up for close range- I’d put a red dot sight on it- for fast targeting 🎯-
I agree
That what I use for big rat's.
That what I use for big rat's.
You can put any standard rifle scope on it and you don’t have to remove the flip ups! I have a green dot Lazer on mine that works great in the day time.
USE HEAVY PELLETS they will give you better accuracy
Amateur
@@jand8303 hey that’s like your opinion man sorry I melted your snowflake world
@@danielcraig3181 literally the worst possible gun for pesting! I don’t own a PCP and I know that. Sig Sauer made that as more of a “niche” semi automatic tactical style PCP for target shooting. Any review on RUclips would show that as well as the manufacture website states it’s not a hunting/pesting rifle due to the low FPE.
Not with this rifle. It lacks the power for heavy pellets.
@@Bmr4life I own the rifle I’ve never had a problem with heavy pellets
You are totally professional and respectful when explaining your mission to those who may be skeptical. Nice job!
Yes, the iron sights will come off and get rail mounts for a scope. You’re accuracy will improve 10 fold.
It is not accurate far enough for a scope. Green dot for what they are doing.
Oh yes they are comparing to open sights.
@@user-ld2zq1vf4i completely untrue comment any scope the shooter desires to add to the rifle will work fine Ive hunted small game with mine. There’s some mods to make the gun super accurate as well.
@MrDeerhtr the entire top of the gun is a picatiny rail. Cheers
@@caseG80
Correct you still need the scope ring mounts
What amazes me is that you can cruz around with the rifles in view. You have notified the police in the area your elimating the invasive critters! Thanks for sharing stay safe
It's not illegal to. Have you not heard of our 2nd Amendment??
I would love to see y'all use them on those pythons y'all have in Florida
Probably have to go to the Everglades and trudge through tall grass. Have a panther pounce on you...
I doubt this rifle would have any effect on pythons.
I had a red dot on mine for a while but then change to a UTG Bugbuster 3-12x34 scope. Absolutely amazing scopes. I’ve now fitted one to my custom Crosman 2250. Highly recommend and has a great reputation
What's the comparison?
Red dots and scopes are used for two different purposes.
@@dangerous8333 uhhh no not really, they're both used to aim and shoot shit
An ACOG mid range scope will totally sight in and work even a good reflex style rect would work but accuracy would still the same as iron sights I think
As you are not doing really long range shooting, I think a red dot sight is what you need. Also better for follow up shots.
They literally said that in the video …
Put a red dot on homie.. and look at getting a suppressor(moderator) for the virtus.. it should quit down that modded version.. happy hunting, thanks for the vids brother..
Put a scope on it it has picadilly rail made for it always go scope when trying to target such a small and very important target!!!!!!!!
Piccadilly rail 😅😂🤣
Is there any iguanas in Hollywood Florida ? And where to go if there is comment on here thanks
They like tropical weather, hollywood is sub tropical so you won't get the crazy numbers like down south.
@@okimitchell1043 like what spot should I try ? If you know any
You don't need a scope. You need to sight in your rifle on a benchrest position with target and move the site forward or back to get your optimal range at different yardages, then you can have an idea of how much compensation you have the further out from a target you are and raise your sight slightly above the target accordingly to compensate for the drop in trajectory the further away you are.
13:28 Karen Intervention!
That wasn't a Karen, she wasn't loud, abrasive, or rude.
Scope is really better because of the magnification wc brings u closer to your target.i would buy a 1-6x scope.
Remember he said the effective range is 30 ft so a magnified scope wouldn’t be the best choice
Really? A scope magnifies and brings you closer to your target? Crazy!
Now explain to us what a seatbelt does.
Dude be careful with that air rifle in FL especially while driving around, looks a little too much like a real rifle! 😬. Karen is likely cause you problems.
It is a real rifle but it's not a firearm
Damn Karen's always bitching about something
You handled that Karen interaction really well.
They should let some in the roof of this woman so maybe she change his mind.....stupid. Karens man
I dont think shes a karen she just wants to know whats going on in her neighborhood that makes her a karen?..
Some women's reaction are to hard to understand.
She wasn't a Karen man... she was just curious.

● ● He's already been approached by police because people have called in about a person with a "firearm".
I've seen people carrying pool stick cases being approached by police. There are people out there that think the pool stick cases are actually rifle cases, so that's what they tell the 911 dispatch ("I'd like to report a man walking around with a rifle...")
Loved when he lifted the limp iguana and was like "sorry" 😆 😂
Cool video like always love those south florida adventures. There's no way I'd eat 1 of those things tho
No sir the scope would not be what you want to do you want a red dot for the close contact shots it will be fast and very accurate. You could even use a red dot for airsoft since there’s no recoil
You call always count on the Iguana Man! 🏴🇺🇸🏴🇺🇸🏴
Thank you!!❤️
Pablo's the best! Always full of knowledge and truly cares about his customers. Good shooting Raj!

It will help see them better and that alone will improve your shooting . I would put a scope rated for 22mags . As far as the sights on your rifles , they are accurate as you can get .
Good job handling that lady . But start off with the damage they do . Explain like you did about the damage to the roofs and add foundations . Explain that it will cost a lot of money to make repairs to property and that you are saving them money . Then bring up the plants . When you word your explanation you want to make it clear . And say the same exact thing each time .

you guys are hilarious. good content 😂
Nice Vid - You guys can afford a telescoping net to grab those monsters from the water!

You should throw a little Burris Red Dot on their
Dude scope, scope, scope LTG makes a 3x9x40 for under 100$ that is absolutely awesome , your weapon or tool whatever, needs optics to humanely dispatch iguanas. Your new gun is little more powerful than you're giving credit for! Put a LTG tactical scope on it and it would be perfect!!!!
You can put a compact scope or red dot scope. To make it more tactical look.
I'd probably take the iron sights off and use a red dot for quicker aiming
Dude, go to your local indoor range/gun shop. Take your sig air with you (in a gun case/bag). Tell them you would like to demo a scope or optic. Tell them what you are doing and they will probably give you several ideas. I would imagine that they will steer you to either a LPVO or a basic scope.
You should seriously, seriously, seriously consider hitting the front half of the Sig Air with orange spray paint. There is absolutely no way to identify it as an air rifle visually at a distance.
I’ve look up that pcp before when I was looking into getting a pcp , even with scope, it’s range is like 30 yards and down . Maybe it the barrel but it just don’t group well be on 30 yards
4:56 , never put it on fire either until you’re ready to shoot .
This air rifle is a toy.
And that looks super fun btw. I'm jealous of you guys.
Wow you're a super tough guys shooting defenseless iguanas with air rifles right? 😂😂
ACOG
Some people get upset at seeing this... but it has to be done. Can't have evasive species populating without control. Same with the pythons there. Folks also get upset at the prairie dog hunters in the mid-west, but if you don't control them, they take over and cause serious property damage. These guys are doing a good community service. My only call out would be to ensure you have permission from the property owners.
I own the Sig Virtus it's meant to be fired like a Sig because it is a Sig . I'd say double up on your shots . Watching and loving your vids from Santa Cruz CA ..
Great job, but lost my appetite over that frog lol! Were the maggots changing color because of what they were injesting. Thanks for sharing
Any optic that will mount on a picatinny rail will work, I'd recommend a centerpoint spectrum 4-12x44 ... it's first focal plane inexpensive and will get the job done. I think DonnyFL makes a moderator you can mount directly to that air rifle to quiet it, I'd recommend the TANTO but I do not know which end cap you need though ... call him. Accuracy will come with time and practice, you really need to put different pellets at different weights through those rifles to see what shoots best. I always assume everyone knows this, but apparently many don't ... always do your zeroing at maximum magnification. Many think that more FPS is better ... this is not true when you are trying to be accurate. The Diabolo pellet design becomes unstable as it approaches the speed of sound (1100FPS) I like to keep my velocity between 930-950 with a 18grain hollowpoint for hunting ... You are going to have to practice and experiment with those rifles to find out what works best. One other thing to be mindful of, do not clean an air rifle using metal rods and standard gun oil ... the steel used in the barrels isn't as tough as what is used in a firearm and metal rods can damage the crown, many types of gun oil with destroy the seals used in air rifles ... use Ballistol for cleaning.
I've had bad luck center point. Maybe I'll give them another try it's been 5yrs.since I bought one. I've been using LTG and for the same for the money they've been unbeatable, I use Hawke on my .357 cal. Bulldog I use for deer. Maybe I'll put a center point on my squirrel gun and try it!! peace bro.
@@billpackard4197 UTG Bug Busters a safe bet. I have a few PCP air guns ... I have airguns with UTG and Centerpoint glass on them, wouldn't trust them on a powder burner though. If you are using a scope on a piston driven air gun just know that that particular powerplant has a tendency to destroy scopes. My new squirrel gun is a Benjamin Akela with a Vortex Diamondback 4-16x44 FFP on it ... love that scope for what it is. Hawke makes good glass too, but personally if I'm going to spend more than 200 I'm going to look at Vortex first ... maybe Primary Arms, because I have good experiences with them. If you've never tried a fist focal plane scope you do owe it to yourself to try one. Actually, in a sort of money is no object world, a Vortex strike eagle 1-8 would probably be about perfect for what they are doing.
He won't have to worry about going too fast as their two rifles only produce 11 to 14 fpe in the 600 to 700 fps range. I was surprised to see DonnyFl might indeed have an adaptor for their rifles but it is a shame to be putting more money into a marginal quality rifle. donnyfl.com/collections/adapters/products/sig-mpx-1-2-x-20-adapter-a52
You don't have to take the open sights off just get taller scope rings and a cheap 3×9×40 bushnell banner scope about 70 bucks and then about 50 feet your money of course with the higher pressure gun it will work better plus .22 is more wind resistant.
Driving with the rifle out the window is PROBABLY A BAD IDEA. Espescially since patterned on an “EVIL” Plastic Assault Weapon some Karen sees that , flips her wig and dials 911 and it can REALLY ruin your day as well as the day of the local Police Department
& to think people pay about $100 in the uk to have as a pet! Not me, if I lived where you do I’d be out there with the air rifle
I know this was 3 years ago but CVLife has a 4 x 32 short scope with 3 colored optic blue, red and green and for a bonus has open fiber optic sights in the top of the scope so you also have that option if it’s really close. It’s made to work perfectly on all those style rifles and air rifles. If you’ve not seen them check them out priced at $64 can’t beat it you’ll be happy that you both have the same rifles same scopes gives you more of a professional look to keep everything uniform as you are doing now. Hopefully this helps
Leave the sights. They're folding BUIS (backup iron sights) a SIG Sauer ROMEO5 2moa red dot optic. Is excellent, and what I've got on my SIG Sauer Airguns MCX RATTLER CANEBREAK, and a Trijicon ACOG 4X32 fiber optic green chevron reticle optic on my SIGair MPX
@Iguana Man ONE GUN FOR ALL YOUR NEEDS! READ ON. The Virtus is a good training rifle at close range for people who like AR 15s. That is why it's purposed built! They are not accurate for hunting.
