High could be 250 eggs ( for this conservative example). When you talk to the public, it needs to be explained that EVERY female iguana can be dumping at least 30 babies every year. There are native iguanas on every island near Florida. It's likely they were native in the not too distant past. Probably wiped out by humans like most of the other large animals about 10,000 years ago.
Why? The call probably just said someone's shooting iguanas by the canal. No falsehoods stated. It's the police's job to come find out what the situation is, not a civilians job to approach someone with weapons.

I killed a 123 pound iguana back in 2017 in a bayou in southern Louisiana. I had the animal skinned out by a local resident, he then cooked the tail of the iguana on his grill, to me it had a taste like nothing I’ve ever eaten, it was delicious. ❤. The two men I was with later met a man and women at a local store just down the road from the bayou we were fishing and hunting from, with my boat that is. The women reported us to the game and fish officer for the area, the cops and game wardens locked us up, took my boat and my truck. We bonded out 2 days later . The 3 of us took a plea and come 2025 I’ll be finished up with my probation period and the officer that collects 250.00 each month. It’s different in Lafoosh and grand isle Louisiana than in Florida. Iguanas are a protected species in southern Louisiana. Had we not skinned out the animal and not cooked it on the grill our sentence would have been less. 😊

Many of the islands around Florida have native iguanas. It's likely there were native ones in Florida in the past. They were probably wiped out by humans like so many other animals about 10,000 years ago. Also, they're less harmful to the environment than rabbits.
Being a retired 30 year veteran LEO , 11 years years as a command officer, I give the responding officer and the other officers a 10 for their professionalism and their interaction. However, being that the group disposing of the lizards were operating under a legal contract and were legally present, asking for a time limitation for their presence was not required nor enforceable. To inform the complainants that the group would be leaving at a certain time would present an expectation, and if the group were still present past the time they were told would/could invite further unfounded complaints. As a command officer I would instruct officers to advise complainants that the group were legally present and were not in violation of any state or city laws....period.
Asking how long someone will be in the area is not a "time limitation." He was simply trying to get an idea as to how long they'd be around. As an alleged "command officer" you should understand his desire to get a time frame for their presence. He never said they were restricted to being there based on what they told him.

They're not really a problem other that eating some plants. They're just easy targets for guys to feel like they're mighty hunters. Rabbits do a lot more damage.
Nice transition from standing to prone. Good fire discipline and background control. Not trying to be funny, but why don't you guys call the local police jurisdiction and let them know when and where you will be shooting, that way if someone calls in on you they will already know. That would help cut down on the friction when shooting.
@Ed Snowden True that Ed, but then once they shoot you, you know the saying, "I felt my life was in danger or threaten"
Loud bros out having a hoot shooting guns and upsetting neighbors.
"Everybody is notified what's going on." Yet the cops show up because they haven't been notified. Neighbors are calling the cops because they haven't been notified. Could have printed up some flyers explaining to residents several days before....or just show up dressed like gang members, carrying what looks like high powered weapons, talking loud like drunk bros going wild.
Yup, you have permission. But I can't see your business lasting. After the residents get done calling the cops and learn their HOA hired you their next 20 calls were to the HOA officers to scream at them. Won't take too long for HOAs to find a more professional company to hire.
pretty cool stuff. just yesterday someone posted an article on fb where some park system in the everglades are looking for people to shoot pythons with shotguns. i think you guys would be perfect for the job
Love what you're doing iguana team, keep up the amazing work!
You guys are doing amazing work for our ecosystem thank you very much
There are native iguanas on every island near Florida. It's likely they were native in the not too distant past. Probably wiped out by humans like most of the other large animals about 10,000 years ago.
Whoever called the cops needs cited for false police report.
Why? The call probably just said someone's shooting iguanas by the canal. No falsehoods stated. It's the police's job to come find out what the situation is, not a civilians job to approach someone with weapons.
Dang that sucks 😕 people don't just get it
So sad pure evil
Love those rifles. You should invite the cops to join you, bet they would have fun
Should have let the cops try!
Next time if they come out again
@@Rajtheiguanaman Hi guys are you sales the iguanas? I like to by some.
How much do you get paid per iguana? Just out of curiosity.
It put the iguana 🦎 to dream that they never come so closer to you guys. Great job 👏.
Only thing i see is keep in line with each other. The guy on the ground was behind the guy standing. It's a safety thing. No matter the firearms.
8:20. Thank you for teaching something new. Grab them by the back legs and squeeze their legs into their body and they won't turn to scratch or bite you. Interesting.
Very cool! About the cops...
Yeah, pesting is important there, those things will take over!
The numbers of these blow my mind! I'm truly sorry for the stupidity you have to put up with. I'm a reptile lover, but conservation of our natural resources can't be compromised by invasive species. Thanks for your dedication!
Officers amazing job working with your community. Great work you iguana snipers.
Crazy ass neighbors, like oh sure these fellas are gonna fire an Assault rifle in your backyard! Good job fellas!
Great job guys ! Question: what you do with them later ?
They will be eaten
@@maitrekake8505 The thought of eating those things make me sick to my stomach. I am sure you could catch diseases just from handling these reptiles, so eating them should be out of the question.
I KNOW THEY'RE INVASIVE, BUT THERE SHOULD BE A LAW OF HOW MANY U CAN HUNT OR KILL AT ONCE. THIS IS TERRIBLE! WAY TOO MANY TO KILL AT ONCE. AND THE WAY 'IGUANA MAN' TREATS THEM IS INHUMANE! 😢 TAPES THEIR LEGS UP, MAKES THEM SUFFER, BEFORE DEATH! 😡
Excellent work. Also Humane when you put the wounded iguanas down. Previous suggestions of matching uniforms makes sense. Keep up the good work
Double standards of youtube, shame on youtube , if in some videos u just touch a rooster they ban ur channel and here we go, shooting beautifull creature bt still youtube is ok with it.
All I can say as a kid that grew up with a crossman on his shoulder daily... What A GIG!
Amen
Have guy thought of putting a airsoft cameras on the guns to where they zoom out and see where the person's shooting to get some better shots I'd love to come out there and like watch you guys do this it sounds so interesting
The police were so professional, they really deserve more credit. It's amazing with hundreds of thousands points of contact with civilians, there are so few negative interactions. We need to fund and support our police. The woke approach is turning our country into a total s show.
I totally agree there are lots of great officers out there. it would be great if they turned in their bad co workers.
Couldn’t believe I saw Kenyan (spelling?) standing with the end of his gun’s barrel resting on his toe. 😳
Woops / get closer to your target with these weak weapons but your definitely helping to solve this problem 👏👏👏❤️
Lmao, stand in front of it and say that.
Funny, people in Costa Rica / Panama use to eat them. The governments made it illegal to kill and eat as they almost became instinct. Maybe you can sale them to Costs Rica / Panama.
Wow look, everyone was respectful and everything was chill…imagine that.
Does anyone speak Spanish?
El iguana removal- guy who just said the iguana removal 😐👍
This is how Cop's should act be polite don't be an asshole if a crime isn't being committed don't make up a crime just cause u can not all cops are bad cop's
You guys really got to work on your firearm safety. You' are muzzle sweeping the hell out of each other and everything around you waving those guns around like that.
You really should call the police departments before you go out for removal.
All residents should have been notified! I sure would not want those monsters in my back yard!
7:56 oooh is that a sexy Benjamin armada I see
not sure what cal you are running. i have found for pest control around the golf course i use a 30 cal or 35 and dial it down. i get good energy and big holes with out over penetration
Another great video.. maybe you need some small lawn signs in the areas you're working to give neighbors and Leo a heads up
I like the sign idea. At least this time he is wearing his vest.
You all should get some high vis shirts with your company design log and name on it made and look more professional😎
Have a look at approx 2 minutes in.
2:21 exactly
I understand why you do what you do. I get the invasiveness probems you guys down there face. But I am a huge iguana lover and this hurts my heart to see all these beutiful creatures being put to death just because they are trying to survive. This is the fault of all the carnivals and fairs that used to give them out hand over fist as prizes, and they should have to pay sharp penalties for this. Keep up the good work and keep being ethical in the euthenization techniques. I feel like I should build a huge buiding in southern Florida and have them live caught and brought in for housing.
Many of the islands around Florida have native iguanas. It's likely there were native ones in Florida in the past. They were probably wiped out by humans like so many other animals about 10,000 years ago.
Also, they're less harmful to the environment than rabbits.
I feel sorry for the iguanas.
@@maximusextreme3725 And if the subjects who are legally present, engaging in lawful activity, decide to stay much longer then the time frame they estimated?
@@maximusextreme3725 Dont be an ass!
Can't blame the neighbors for being concerned about a bunch of methed out looking people walking around with air rifles. HOA should have done better notifying people.
Agreed, I wouldn’t want a bunch of randos flinging pellets everywhere around everyone’s houses
Iguana man and iguana Ninja and the helpers great video awesome new air rifle iguana man . And the cops was super cool about the whole situation and that's the way it should be . But the people need to stop calling the police they need more education on this iguana invasion .. High '5s all around good work men .
P.S. need to see more work with the dream line PCP ...
Porque los matan ustedes no saben que vienes ambruna y esos animalitos se comen asados o en adobo
This actually looks like a rewarding job, doing good for the local ecosystem.
Florida has an invasive species problem exacerbated by hurricanes and irresponsible pet owners that release unwanted pets like snakes and lizards. These guys are doing something positive for the environment with their " air guns".
lol, cats are the worst. Let's see what happens if they go out and shoot cats. Iguanas are about as harmful as rabbits.
Not gonna lie< my soul hurts every time one gets killed...BUT I completely understand why it has to happen. However, I did not realize how MANY were out there now. They have really flourished... so sad.. Great job guys... Will be subbing and watching more vids.. TFS
Me too! But, such is the nature of life. Nothing can be perfectly fair. Not all animals can be saved. We must respect how mother nature works and help restore balance as needed. Ultimately, this is what benefits all species in the surrounding habitat.
Everyone was professional.
Keeping the invasive iguanas at a lower level helps with the problem.
They're not really a problem other that eating some plants. They're just easy targets for guys to feel like they're mighty hunters. Rabbits do a lot more damage.
Nice transition from standing to prone. Good fire discipline and background control. Maybe high vis clothing with animal control visuals would lessen the impact for those humans who have survived the environment and thank those who came before when it was more hostile and those who went out to feed the critters would end up on the supper table.
Need another sponsorship and do a iguana hunt giveaway. 5 days of hunting with you guys. That would be amazing
Sign me up 😛. 🦎👎
Of course the cops are cool with you guys! you’re both doing the lord’s work 😂🫶🏻
These people upset have obviously have never lived in FL..
Put up folding signs AIR RIFLES IN USE . Paint air rifles on bright vests. So there are no mistakes.please.
You should have standard dress attire and company shirts. Like tan cacki shorts or pants, work boots and company shirt. I see you have company safety vests. That's a good start. Keep up the good work. If I ever end up in Florida I know who to call lol
Shout out for the blue. Great job guys on iguana removal, and your respect for the cops.
Nice 👍
People call the cops for any fucking reason.
ps the cops were happy but idiots dont know better sorry
เมืองไทยขายตัวเป็นหมื่นเป็นแสนแต่ฝรั่งเขายิงทิ้งเป็นของไม่มีค่าเลย555
There are places that use to pay us kids to come out on summer evenings and mow down coyotes on farms. I do not like killing mammals, but i would love to get employed doing this job man...seems super cool. Nice weather days, target practice...whats not to love.
Thank you for removing the envasavie species
Saking gak ada biawak Iguana yg Jadi sasaran 🤣
Holly hell ypu pump lead into some of these. Think you need to step up to some .25 cal guns. Shooting 1 a half dozen times is wasting $$$
If you don't like it remove them yourself really cry babies!
They're probably feeding them .
what’s that gun called in the 8 min mark
That is my Benjamin armada .25 caliber tuned for jsb exact king pellets @925 FPS. I’m using an ATN 5-20x scope with ABL 1000 yard range finder.
