    v nice.should mava be added to mohanthal as some do or without mava it tastes the same?

      +Nirzari Mehta without mava also it taste good but if you wan to add mava you can also add mava which will give you little bit creamier taste

    how many minutes did it take to cook this mohanthal on medium flame?? I am new to indian cooking and i will be making this for the 1st time, so just want to make sure I dont burn the mixture.

    Dear Rinkuji,
    Prepared Mohanthal for the first time after seeing your video. It came out crisp - as though besan ka laddu was pressed into that shape. Please tell me whether it should be soft like in moti chur ka laddu.

      ok so as per what you are saying i am figuring out that you besan is absorbing more milk...so when ever you are preparing besan flour add little bit more milk ( 2-3 table spooon) in it.

      +Deadly Guy agar khoya add karna hai to jab mixture pan me dalte hai to ek ya do min mixture of ghee ko pakane ke baad aap khoya add kar shakti hai..

    what should I use if I cannot get coarse besan

      if you don't have coarse besan then you can take regular besan and follow the procedure what i explained in the beginning..you will get good result

      sometimes its depends upon the quality of besan flour .if its very dry then add one tea spoon milk+1 tea spoon ghee at a time

      yes you can add for color but make sure to add just a pinch so you get nice color without compromising the taste

      +DrAkanksha Rastogi some time it depends upon the quality of chickpea flour..some chick pea flour absorb more milk..if you are having problem with texture then add more milk and ghee while preparing flour so you will have nice moist texture..
