I love this, it just made me laugh a lot 😂😂😂. Good one. Keep up the great work Salt team❤ 😊. Just being out there and having 'normal' conversations with non Christians is SUCH a great way to evangelise. Amazing. 😊

I was really surprised that people had had as many positive experiences as they did. I’m a Christian myself, but some of the cruelest people I’ve met have proclaimed to follow Christ while their behavior screams otherwise. I think so many forget that we have to treat nonbelievers differently than we would a Christian in their sin. We don’t have to accept the sin at all, but we need to love the sinner regardless at the end of the day. I’ve wrote this a couple different times now but I’ll call that short bit good lol. It does pain me though how much hatred I see from other believers towards people. Especially when all of us helped drive those nails through our savior’s hands in equal measure. Christ has just opened our eyes to see the error of our ways so we can repent and show mercy and forgiveness to others with love as he’s done for us. All sin is equal in God’s eyes after all. I I mean except for rejecting the Holy Spirit but I digress. Great video regardless Lauren. You’re a brave one asking those questions. I also cracked up just how into the music you got with that Alan guy. It was awesome.

@@be_salt It’s not easy to admit we aren’t any better than anyone else. I see a fair number of comments in salt videos that kind of show that, sadly.

I know what Jesus would be doing if he was walking the earth today!
He would be preaching the Gospel. 🎚

My mom was a fundamentalist evangelical and was extremely judgmental and close minded. She shoved religion down my throat and prodded me into the most toxic relationship with another fundamentalist evangelical christian woman. It was so many years of pain. My Mom passed away and my fiance left me. I care about them on a deep level but im glad they are no longer apart of my life.

Again, the world does not disappoint with their corrupt ways. All deceived by the modern stigmas of "following your own direction". Offended when we preach biblical doctrine. What would Jesus be doing if he were here? He would be with the homeless, the criminals, the adulterers etc. "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick." Matthew 9.

    Interesting...
    So my question is...
How do you quantify what judgement is and is not?
    Is all judgement bad?
    If not,
    What is negative judgement?
    What is positive judgement?

  • @ilyministries
    @ilyministries Год назад

We ALL, religious or unreligious, make judgments. On a daily basis, we make hundreds, if not thousands of judgments. We can't live without evaluating things. The moment you deem one thing "good" or "positive" as opposed to "bad", you are judging. Even if it's something seemingly obvious like "brushing my teeth is good for my teeth"'. The issue is not judgments themselves, the issue is making hypocritical judgments. Jesus does not prohibit us from judging, in fact, He encourages us to be careful to judgment carefully, thoughtfully, and according to what is right (John 7:24). Judgment is not the issue, hypocritical judgment is.

There is a big difference between discernment, which is necessary to get through the day, and judgment which implies a moral and emotional condemnation. The problem with many Christians is that they demand that EVERYONE follow their rules. In the USA, they are pushing to establish a National Theocracy via the Republican Party. In other words, they want to force everyone to follow Jesus. I can predict how well that will go. You will end up with a lot of hypocrites and people pretending in order to not be punished or killed. Already in the USA, some Christians are calling for gay people to be exterminated. God (the real God) help us if Christians take control of a society, because it will be butchery and horror. Science will be twisted into something horrendous to prove the literal existence of Adam and Eve 6000 years ago and that dinosaur bones were implanted by Satan to confuse the pious. If the USA became such an ignorant Dark Ages society, it would trigger the biggest brain drain in human history to other nations.

Thing is with religion it‘s not ultimately a personal thing, it‘s one truth and if the ancient egyptiens were right with Osiris everybody else has a Problem. The greatest possible compromise for all people would be, of course, if atheists were right. That is ultimately the crucial point, when we die who are we facing then. And a Christian starts from an absolute certainty that someone is the almighty God of the Bible to whom one comes only and alone through Jesus Christ. The beauty of this debate is that you don't have to force anyone. In the end, we will inevitably see who was right anyway.

First of all if you really want to be a follower of Christ you have to be serious about what Jesus did for you on the cross. Bible is clear unless a man or woman is born again he cannot see the kingdom of heaven. And the Bible also says “unless you seek me with ALL of your heart you cannot find him”.

The questions are really contrived and a little misguided and opening up people to be very negative from the onset? Why are you starting with words like ‘judgy, preachy? On a positive side, the song Jesus loves me song was my first ever experience of hearing about Jesus from the Bible when I was 19 as a Muslim at the time. It took a while for God to break those walls and strongholds to truly get a hold of me and my life! 12 years a born again right here.😎❤️
