old phones might have issues with the gps module. the best way is to make sure all the right files are available in the designated folder. have a sim card in, then make sure you test it outside to assist the gps to lock as indoors can be difficult. if that doesnt work, gps module can be faulty.

For me, Symbian^3 (start factory Symbian) is the best for this phone. But if you have Anna, stay on that. Cause I have Belle and thel phone is faster,but the system is uglier and esthetically unacceptable.
Can't be done OTA. Manually only and that's a slightly complex procedure. There are many reviews that guides how to install new firmware for symbian Belle devices. Can follow the guides there
I still have Nokia E7 in condition like new. I bought in 2014. Last year i was change battery and silicone case. Today, I use this phone sometimes like third phone . Just for calling and games. Other applicatons doesnt work. In the past, Nokia N8 and N7 was PORSCHE between the phones.

I have an 808 and the maps don't work the same way as it did in your video, I wonder if it's a phone issue or GPS support just doesn't exist anymore

Absolutely you can, not sure for WhatsApp though but messenger and Instagram without a problem
Whatsapp is no longer supported, but Messenger could work through the web browser

Some device requires SIM inserted to work. Try with a SIM card first

i didnt try as it will might not work due to enhanced google security. you can get it to work by disabling the security which i wont recommend.
