Oh my gosh! I have been cooking for 30 years and never knew that was the way to get the sausage out of the plastic!! So easy!! 😊❤️
Although summer is not my favorite season, I appreciate them all.
Fall though, that is my jam! I am so grateful I can use our oven again, I love soups & stews & all of our traditional favorites in our household.

I made the banana pudding and it was delicious! The cookies are EVERYTHING. I too will not use anything else in banana pudding again.

I make this all the time but it is much better if you use Banana pudding in it instead of vanilla..that how I made it for our restaurant and now I make it at home and it was always gone as soon as it was brought out! Try the Banana pudding you won’t go back to vanilla!

My family loves banana pudding made with Nabisco Nutter Butter cookies .
My Mom makes that Banana pudding recipe. I use my Grandmothers recipe, using a touch of sour cream and lady fingers instead of Nilla wafers or chessman’s. But I don’t think you can go wrong with any banana pudding recipe 🤤😋

That banana pudding has been a family favorite for decades in our home. I got it a lifetime ago from Paula Dean when she was on the Food Network, and she called it, “Not yo Mama’s banana puddin’” and it is insanely good. I only make it three times a year because it’s extremely rich. So I make it on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s. To keep the holidays extra special. It has become a tradition in our home. And my family would be so disappointed if I didn’t make it. It is REALlY good. And you can make it one day before. But I don’t recommend doing it more than a day in advance because the bananas do get brown. However, in our house we’ve been known to eat the leftovers for 2 to 3. days afterwards. It makes a lot. Yummy!

I made the monte Cristos just 2, I didn't have all ingredient they are dupes, in the microwave ... 😊just ham Turkey swiss mayo spicy mustard with strawberry jam nuked with butter on top and powdered sugar was really good. Thanks for the ideas, I always wanted to make those I like honey Turkey with swiss too maybe would be good with cranberry.

I have made the potato casserole for many years. We prefer the potato cubes ans I crush up corn flakes which I mix with melted butter befor going in the oven. We love the crunch.
Enjoyed the recipes, but not so much watching the cleanup...washing and drying dishes.
A question: why did you throw away half of the green onions? Just cut the roots and use all of it! or put the white parts in a glass of water, so you can grow back a bit of the green! Use the onions in a fresh green salad or cut them and freeze them =)

Southern you are not! No onions in Southern gravy and it isn't biscuits and gravy unless it has bacon drippings or sausage drippings in the gravy. That is just the way it is! Big buttermilk biscuits yum yum. Just the way we do it in the South! Does not make yours bad just not Southern lol!

Cutting horizontally on your onion is one of the top ways of injuring yourself in the kitchen and is totally unnecessary. Try chopping an onion without it and see that the way the onion is already segmented makes a horizontal cut redundant. Just a thought. Thanks for the recipes.
