One thing I recommend to anyone just starting out is to play along with a youtuber. Open the game, pick a youtuber/streamer you can stand to listen to for 10s of hours and find one of their career modes. I used Lollujo to start, with Zealand supplementing anything I had questions on. And then do a lot of the same shit they do throughout their videos. Sign staff when they sign staff, search for players when they search for players maybe sell someone when they do. And eventually you'll get to a point where you start disagreeing with whatever youtuber you're watching. The moment that happens, start trusting your own intuition. Maybe a centerback they sold seems like they're going to be important in your save, then keep em. And keep making decisions alongside your youtuber until your save starts to look super different or you feel like the pace of the videos is too slow for how you wanna play. Then go for it, just play the game. And there you are. You won't be fully knowledgeable about the game but you will 100% feel confident enough to continue playing or to start a new save.
Loving the American Tier list. Up from the 7th tier to the 3rd and making a great campaign to move up to the 2nd in the 11th season. Ty for all the guides!

Been watching FM videos for long time finally got FM23 and started on my Asia manager career with Melbourne city this year. Loaded the Saudi league too along with all the Asian leagues and it's actually really fun tryna get Melbourne city to win the Asian champions league against the Saudi teams with benzema and Mahrez type talents. Also funny how the best player currently being bought by Saudi team is caicedo in my current safe for almost £110mso maybe FM predicting something in the future?🤔
did you just said "I bought and didn't play it until 3 years"?? wow that describe me perfectly, it happens to me too. Zealand knows. I gotta subscribe.
I have encountered a major floor in this game. I have two South Korean players both have gone off to the Asia cup ,South Korea have reached the final of the Asia cup so my players have been away for a long time both have now handed in transfer requests because I am not playing them enough. I cannot play them if they are away with their national team. Prior to the Asia cup they were starting Preachy every game and they are classed as important players to my team. This is a major glitch that should be fixed. The game is old enough now for this to have gone. I also had this problem when I was in the championship and I had a Brazilian player who went to play in some America’s Cup. But he didn’t hand in a transfer request luckily but he was unhappy when he came back because of lack of first team football and his form dropped. That whole situation upset my dressing room dynamics and the team have started to perform badly due to the way I had treated my player. 😢
been 2 yrs since I have the game and uninstalled it several times. never able to properly played the game. stopped at choosing managing style, stopped at choosing staff.. and now I know I missed the important details... recommendation tick.. oh boy.. thanks a lot!
What is really needed is a guide regarding save restrictions. Inspiration regarding ways to make the game harder, more unpredictable, more challenging. The game is beyond easy, it is a big problem.
