I was looking at this recently and the previous year model (as you mentioned id also prefer the separate stem/bar combo), this is a nice looking bike though and pretty well specced, looking on the specifications on merida's web site it states the hubs are meridas own "merida expert SL" hubs which confused me as I thought the wheels were all Reynolds parts. I wouldn't really know the difference or which hubs are better as I don't know a lot about either, just seemed confusing that it lists the hubs as their own rather than the ones supplied with Reynolds wheel set.
@@Rigo_S I think the best value is Scultura Endurance 6000 with Shimano Di2 electronic groupset (£3,300 retail) www.merida-bikes.com/en-gb/bike/4868/scultura-endurance-6000
Please also review the Scultura 4000 and Scultura Endurance 4000 also. There are no reviews online

I believe it's the full Reynolds wheelset with the hubs. You can always check with your local Merida dealer.
Whats your opinion on the scultura endurance? It's often available for good discounts in the UK
Excellent bike.
