This trophy / achievement is missable!
Several decisions have to be made throughout the story. These decisions change the outcome of the story. The important choices for Good Karma start in Story Mission 6 "Karma". It's all about rescuing Chloe (Karma) and see her surviving the 9th mission "Odysseus". Make sure to beat all of the strike force missions throughout the game. China needs to be an ally and this will automatically unlock Ship Shape too.
Step 1 - Mission 6 "Karma" - Kill DeFalco at the end of the mission. Do not let him get away in the aircraft! If he gets away you can still rescue Chloe in the Strike Force Mission "Second Chance".
Step 2 - Mission 8 "Achilles' Veil" - Kill Harper during the interactive cutscene.
Step 3 - Mission 9 "Odysseus" - Shoot Admiral Briggs in the leg. Finish the mission.
If you fail to do any of these steps the trophy / achievement won't be possible anymore. You will then have to rewind the story in mission select back to the point where the first mistake happened. If you decide to make use of the rewind story feature then keep in mind that you have to replay all missions via "Continue Story". If you have to rewind back to mission 6 then you have to play all missions in correct order until mission 9.

4. Complete Suffer With Me
5. Once Unlocked, Do the Strike Force Mission "Dispatched"
6. In the missions "Achilles Veil" Shoot Harper
7. Shoot Briggs in the leg in "Odysseus"
You'll get the good Karma Trophy and the Ship Shape Trophy :)

I dont mean to be sick but, the expression on Harper's face when's he's shot is priceless...
It doesn't matter wether you kill DeFalco or not, just secure Chloe in "Karma" or the bonus Strike Force mission.

If Farid had just stalled for 12 more seconds, then they would have been saved by David in the VTOL and both would be alive.
Finally got it by doing the following:
1. rewind story karma
2. in mission briefing use d-pad to select a SF mission. After you finish a SF use d-pad to select the next one. There are 3 in total. Complete each one.
3. complete karma (kill DeFalco)
4. complete "suffer with me"
5. complete SF "Dispatch" (you can find it in mission briefing menu "Achilles Veil" by using d-pad)
6. complete "AV" (kill Harper)
7. complete "Odysseus" (shoot Briggs in the leg.
Do I have to replay the whole game or just the missions to get those trophies?

For the millions who haven't got this trophy believe me I had to REDO the campaign 3 times to get this, Ive replayed back these missions over 10x and nothing! Chloe is NEVER on here so the game doesn't recognize this unless you restart and go along this path the video shows! Pain in the arse but its what worked for me.
you forgot you have to kill zhao in "Dispatch" before you do finish odysseus
The first time I played the mission I was able to snipe Defalco while running. The second time I played I couldn't even get to them in time

Did you let Farid die in Achilles’ Veil? Chloe Lynch will die in Odysseus if Harper lives in Achilles’ Veil.
Once you finish the game and restart you can use any weapon on any level even future weapons on the missions in the past

@skydayer read the description. it says all strike force missions must be completed but i dont know if they must be done before you do the last step or they can be done after the steps amd stil get the trophy

You have to rewind the story to make difference in the future, for example if you want the "Ship Shape" and "Good Karma" achievements you need to rewind mission 6, Karma and let DeFalco get away. Then do all the SF missions available before you do mission 7, You Suffer With Me. After mission 7 you can do the last SF mission, Dispatch. Complete it and do misson 8, Achille's Veil. In Achille's Veil you need to kill Harper before you do mission 9, Odysseus and shoot Admiral Briggs in the leg.
Yes it is possible if you just replay the mission. You need to rewind the story to KARMA using R1. Then replay all missions from there, including WINNING all strike force missions (Second Shance you need not play if you kill DeFalco). Kill the Chinese guy in the last strike force mission before doing Odyssey.
I agree with that about the Campaign, not so much the Multiplayer.
Yeah. I was trying to do showdown when I got this one. You can just rescue her in the strike force mission, kill Harper and it will still pop for you.
you have to complete the strike force missions, so says in the description. i did the campaign just like this as well but didnt do all the strikeforce missions so i didnt get anything.
Here in Brazil, we also have a dear voice actor in Harper's voice.
That's the worst place one can shoot someone in the leg to "subdue" them. The reason why body armor has the big flap in front of the groin is to protect the large veins in the inner thighs. You get hit there, and it's bye bye. The exit wound from that magnum bullet is a nice big faucet now.
If Harper is still alive by that mission, he (Harper) executes Salazar

Didn't work for me as well. It did everything you said in the video, even did the General Zhao and 2nd chance strike force. Anybody know what i did wrong?
if DeFalco (and farid and karma)stay alive until odysseus, you can also unlock the trophy showdown
I believe you also have to complete the strike force missions to be successful as I have failed them and done the rest yet I did not get the achievement.
The guy forgot a part before Odysseus you have to finish the strike force mission dispatch and kill Tian Zhao
It depends on what you've done previously. But I didn't shoot harper and the character you play with at the moment dies.
yeah this really fucked me up i did all strike missions my first time around and so when I went to get this trophy on my second time around i didn't do them since they are hard as shit on veteran so it was really heart breaking when I found out why all my work had been for nothing

Lol I dragged a Dragunov around the whole level, and I kept thinking, "why the hell did I bring a sniper rifle to a firefight?" When I saw my chance to nail that bastard, it all made sense.
I never really liked how you have to go out of your way to keep Defalco alive. At least on lower difficulties. The guy is Mendedez' right hand man and has a couple scenes with him after this mission.Certainly feels better than with a random grunt.
The best way to deal with Briggs is just to wait and not shoot him then Salazar will come and just knock him out

Trying 'good karma' & 'ship shape' for THIRD time! I'll admit i forgot the strike force missions on second attempt...
Hello people, I came here to brag that the voice actor of Karma (Chloe) is my cousin "Erin Cahill" who has been in many movies and shows like Beverly Hill 2, Boggy Man 3, General Hospital, NCIS, Monk and the Pink Power Ranger in Power Rangers Time force and many more. I have met her a few times in real life and could contact her any time I want to. I just wanted to get that out. Thank you for letting me waste your time with reading this and Hopefully made you fell jealous.

so if you don't do the strike force missions, do you not get the achievement ship shape but you get good karma only (if you rescued chloe)?
you have to press RB to reset the story from that point on, then you can do it.
I'm not sure this is true or not but when I got it I had also won all the strike missions in addition to making these choices.
Look in the description, he explains a little bit more. you need to do the strike force missions and have China as an ally.
if you rewind can you change the difficulty because i beat the campaign on veteran but i need to rewind to do this achievement but i dont wanna play on veteran anymore? help please
You can rewind the story when you go on to the replay mission option.
BTW, you need to rewind to the mission "Karma" by by going to replay mission, scroll to Karma and press R1 to rewind. Plus I never did the "Other" Strike Force missions before Karma, so if you did i don't think it matters.
for 0:18 you don't have to kill defalco. You can spare him but then you'll have to save karma in order to get the trophy/achevement

What do i have to do if i have all ready beaten the campain? I rewinded the missions and did this but i dont get it? Do i have to start from mission 1 all over again? Please help !
thx but WOW that messed me up ALL BECAUSE I DID THE SERCET CHOICE by not shooting Briggs at all he just gets gunbutted by Salazar but karma still got on the computer and tryed but failed dang
any advice if i didnt do the story mode this way or a lot of other ways to get other trophies do i have to beat these missions all over again???

Harper was with section in all of the missions where you play as section. It was so sad when i killed harper.:(

u can also let falco live and kill harper and rescue karma at the side mission and u get 2 trophys instead of just one, so ur way is just delaying any achievement hunter from reaching 100% in this game lol
Hey can you help me out, I did EXACTLY what was stated in the video and I didn't get the trophy. At the end of Odysseus it said "The Obama has been lost" instead of "secured" so does that have anything to do with not getting the trophy?
Could you rewind your story to do this or do you have to make a new story?

i am trying to unlock the flecktarn camo. I reset the mission in order to fail to secure karma, then i finished campaign. right after i completed the strike force mission second chance. but i still did not get the camo? why?

Im having the sane problem. did you do all of the tactical missions where you control the squads, i read somewhere you need to do all of those too...
Am I the only one who tried to kill Menendaz before shooting Harper? (By the way, you get an achievement for doing that and for shooting Mason in the leg instead of killing him wright away). Also, is there an achievement for killing Krevchanko?

Infinity Ward dosn't exist anymore. Not since West and Zampella were fired and 48 employes lefted with them to form Respawn.

Frank West? I thought it was gonna be someone like Sam Fisher. That guy has too many balls for his own good.
I think that one of the multiple game endings should be if David has lost all of his comrades and got the good ending, he and Chloe should have fallen in love and in another ending if Menendez escapes, he goes to Frank Woods retirement home and when Menendez tries to kill him, Woods pulls out his old Colt 1911 and kills Raul and says, "You can't kill me!"
Someone please reply! I already completed campaign on veteran, if I want to get this trophy, do I need to reset the whole campaign, or can I just replay a mission and still get this trophy, and if you need to reset the whole campaign, will your 160 challenges also reset?
you have to restart the game if you missed doing this right in order to get the achivement, becuase i just tryed re - doing the missions for this achivement but it didn't give it to me. blk ops 2 can SMD.
Always liked the treyarch cod games, lots of customization since black ops 1, and also another thing i can say is: ZOMBIE POWER XD

My Mike Harper didn't get damage to the head because I drove him away from the fire ;).
If Harper dies then his story is over, but you still have about three missions to beat after.
The easy way to get to DeFalco is to stick to the right and go up the stairs on the right. Practically no enemies in your way.

Got the trophies. You CAN rewind to 6mission 'karma' do mission. From than on do ALL strike force mission that are (and become) available! Shoot harper! (NOT menedez) do NOT kill brigs. (I fired all my bullets at the floor, and salazar knocks brigs unconcious... Got both trophies at end of that mission.
OK so wait, I guess I killed Harper and I plan to capture Mandez. What ending will that give me? I also did the strike missions. And I didn't kill Harper.
Man why must harper die! Now I have to rewind so Harper can stay alive. :(
yes. but you have to replay the entire story to get the different ending.
I rewinded. I completed dispatch mission but it doesn't show in story
same here once a cod a hater.. but i realize things are about to change ;))
