- Not only is Candace and Fulton's house unsellable, but it's also putting a strain on their marriage!
Do you think Fulton's excess junk is the only reason why this house is unsellable?
The Unsellables - Season 2 Episode 3 "A Bursting Bachelor Pad": Newlyweds Candace and Fulton want to move to a larger home and start a family … But they won’t be going anywhere until husband Fulton gets rid of all his junk in their two-storey home. While the property has good curb appeal, the interiors feature floor-to-ceiling clutter, peeling paint, missing hardware, an all-season Christmas tree, and a messy master bedroom…
In order to match the home to its upscale neighbourhood, Sofie comes up with a radical design plan that starts with a ruthless decluttering initiative. And while Anthony and the team get busy with storage solutions, fresh paint, and minor repairs, Sofie gives the couple insight into how a great first impression can seal the deal.
The Unsellables - Can a slick makeover and big sales campaign help desperate homeowners sell their ‘unsellable’ homes? Packed with practical advice and tips to add real value to your house, this bold series hosted by Sofie Allsopp, shows viewers how to transform unwanted properties into unstoppable homes.

Do you think Fulton's excess junk is the only reason why this house is unsellable? 🤔
His hoarding tendencies are a huge issue here. No house will have enough storage for a hoarder. He needs profession help not a bigger house. There is huge, yet sometimes subtle, difference between having too much stuff and hoarding. Visible attachment to junk is a warning sign.
I hope Candice realizes she has married a person who hoards, it will not be easy. He seems to think piles of clutter is normal. Not a bachelor any more! Raising children in his idea of a home would be awful.
I wonder if the marriage survived.
What a transformation! The house looks stunning!
Somebody mentioned he’s a hoarder, yes he is for sure… also something else I noticed is it looks like someone has very scary anger issues! The door with what looks like a punch mark, the door jam coming off and the handle has been removed? Looks like it’s to prevent someone locking someone out! I totally would’ve covered the tracks of that - it gives the viewer a glimpse behind the curtain… I’m not saying it’s him and her, it’s probably him and someone else that started his bachelor life…
The title should be - Husband is a hoarder and he’s putting a strain on their new marriage.
The house looked amazing after. These episodes are 15 years old. His junk was probably put into storage and its probably still there costing a small fortune monthly.
Yep
This episode can also be shown in HOARDERS!
All that clutter gives the impression that it's not big enough for potential buyers. The husband needs to learn to let go of some of his stuff as the problem will only get worse. He needs help.
it said 3 bedrooms yet we only saw 1. he is definitely in early stages of becoming a hoarder. after the house was redone, why would they still want to sell it?
If Fulton cared about his wife he would make space for her in the house but he has not done that instead is junk is more important than she is!
He shouldnt be on unsellables, but on a decluttering program or hoarders, with professional help with hoarding, because he is just gonna collect again, and a bigger house will invite more hoarding.. the house is plenty big for 2 or a new family.. i do understand she wants a fresh start in a new house, as it will always seem like his house and therefore his choice with what comes in the door, but if he does not get help with his tendencies, it will be the same all over again in a new house
In the before pictures the house looked like a frat house and in the after pictures the house looked like adults lived there.
Fulton is a hoarder.😱
He's going to have to clean up his hoard to move when the house sells.... so why not clean up BEFORE the showing??
If he did that, there probably wouldn’t be an issue…(not trying to be a smart “A”) He probably had to go this route, because it’s very difficult to clear up a hoard.
Dude is a hoarder in early stages.
To see how your house looks to others, take photos. For some reason you can see things more clearly.
You’re absolutely right…
She needs to run NOW. This man is a hoarder. Hoarders almost never stop. A bigger house will not help. He will just get more junk.
I think that after the clean up they didnt feel like selling the house anymore bcz it looked so good.
Turning Unsellables in to Unstoppable-Sellers! Yey! Yes, Sandra and your sweet Helper-decorator! are creating gorgeous work! Question: Why not want to expand in to Quebec?
The coupe was sweet!
She needs to run a mile!
I consider red an absolute No , No for the bedroom!
reminding people in the comments that this first aired in 2009
The front patio should have more outdoor furniture. Otherwise the improvements are spot on!
Thanks for sharing 💕The person who is reading this comment, I wish you great success, health , love and happiness 💖
Thank you and same for you dear. 💙
Amen, you too.
If this man can't make physical space for his wife, how much emotional space does she get?
I'd run for my life where a hoarder is concerned. I can love you beyond reason and STILL walk away to protect myself. I can't and won't live with hoarding.
I hope they are ok now as this was a few years ago
He's a hoarder, he'll do to his next house exactly the same as he did to that one.
I think I would have made lazy Fulton do all the cleaning out. His house, his mess.
I agree…he needs to nip his hoarding tendencies right now….scary!
They had alot of people helping declutter , do the repairs.
God bless you and all Americans I love you too much VCS. And a lot of joy I feel for you and sad for not being organized forgiveness.
Sofie looks so cute!
Bet he had this house before they got married
another winner! I know what I have to do .....
Great reno, but what a sloppy couple!
@@buteveryoneknewherasnancy that’s not being infantile, there’s some kind of issue there, possibly a form of depression.
does he not worry about in emergencies, fire, fall risk, or rodents. I think she should buy a clean house and lose the pack rat. he needs therapy. I am undertaking Swedish Death Cleaning. Just a thought.
I think Fulton is plain lazy and wanted someone else to do the work.
Nice house
Good morning my dear I'm yours and your team you are wonderful if I had the financial conditions I would call you fix it I'm sad not to know
Where do these episodes take place?
Toronto, Canada
seen. Sweet couple BUT!!!!!!!!! OH MY! Nightmare! I dont want it for FREE!!!
I thought English people say "If I were a buyer"...well...
Wouldn't it be was because were is plural and was is singular.
@@horsie371 Wrong! The confusion occurs because when writing in the past tense, I was is correct while I were is incorrect. However, when writing about non-realistic or hypothetical situations, if I were is the only correct choice.
This is the subjunctive case which isn't used much because people don't understand it. ''I would if I could but I can't and I won't.'' Two subjunctive cases followed by two present cases. French use it a lot, as well as other languages. I should also mention ''should'', too.
