My biggest failure was taking statics for mechanical engineers 3 times. It had a huge impact on my confidence. I had to do a lot of problems and needed a lot of help from my friends. I ended up passing with a B. It had to do with a lot of factors but mostly me struggling to adapt and self-discipline. Bouncing back from that has made me a more confident student. Normalize failure and understand its gonna be a process. Your friends are incedible resources. Don't let yourself think that you aren't capable of engineering or don't fit in. You have it in you to be successful
My biggest failure was letting chemistry discourage me after failing twice and going so far as to even changing my major two more times until I realized I was never going to be happy doing anything other than engineering. A big inspiration to keep trying was actually a content creator on TikTok that is a female civil engineer and she is also so transparent about her failures. Then I realized everyone fails and it shouldn't impact my confidence. This upcoming Fall semester will be my first semester back as a civil engineering student and I could not be more excited!
I have a degree in chemistry and now I'm going for a degree in chem e. When I took pchem for the first time, on the first exam I got an 8/100. My friend got a 0/100. Four of us failed the exam and we all had to repeat pchem, but we all got our degrees.
Failed an exam for my engineering class second semester freshman year. Dropped me to C range and got concerned I wouldn’t meet the engineering gpa requirement to transition into the discipline I wanted. Then covid happened. I took advantage of the extra time to study more and rewrite notes. Got my first ever A on an engineering exam the second time around. Don’t know how I did on the final (they don’t release those grades for time sake) but that and the final project was enough to pull me up to an even B. I improved from a B- the previous semester despite having a much worse start.
Ooooo I relate all too well to that engineering gpa requirement, so much stress! Proud of you though, that’s awesome , thanks for sharing that Jayla! 🙌🏾
so far my engineering-oriented classes have been ok for me..well physics was a struggle but I got through it. What's tripping me up now is these damn core classes and writing endless papers while trying to do my engineering classes.
I m from 3 year , by gods grace i have not failed any semester exam . But being an average poison me. I came across ur youtube🤣😁 i have regained mine lost motivation , Looking forward for more content
It was super helpful my first two years for the general ed classes like chemistry, organic chemistry, calculus, differential equations, and physics. Check this video out: ruclips.net/video/O6M6iDF_OlA/видео.html Those are the RUclips channels I used most to study
Coding is also giving me hell as a first year engineering student....Don’t even know if I’ll pass... will I ever need it in the chemical engineering field

Well said bro, thanks for sharing that! 🙌🏾
I'm in the same boat as you.
I failed a statics exam 2 times

Wow, thank you for sharing!! I’m sure it would helpful to someone reading 🙏🏾
@@AlsworthTV I really hope so because it definitely would have helped me when I was questioning everything lol

I have a degree in chem and am going for a degree in chemE too! Both b.s. about to run out of federal aid lmao

Bro i needed this! I'm a chemical engineering freshman and classes will start next week! Ughh im scared
You got this bro! Don't stress
Bro I am also going to take chemicals engineer and I am from India, which country are you from
I am gonna be starting my freshman year w chem eng, and this helped alot. Make more chem eng related videos please
Will do! 🙏🏾

Yesss almost 1K subscribers!!! Great content love the educational vids!
Thanks Daisy! ♥️🙌🏾

Thanks for watching! What’s the secret to not failing any exam ? 👀
Are you able to do a video on resume writing possibly?
Yeah, thanks for the suggestion!
In my second year , I failed 3/7 modules in first semester and 3/5 modules in 2nd semester
Mad respect for sticking through with it though! I'm wishing you a successful semester 🙌🏾
4.00 , what programming language are you learning as a chemical engineer ?
I know a small amount of python and excel visual basic
Is a 3.65 /,5.0 good at 200 level and can I still reach a first class
I'm freshman in industrial chemistry, Uganda, Thanks bro....
How helpful was RUclips to you though?? In terms of study material...

Not as much as in other fields, but It could help make certain tasks easier
Beng forever!
TTHX
Hey bro, where did you study and where do you work as an intern? I'm interested with your engineering life bruh.
Univ of cincinnati, and I interned at an engineering consulting firm
Study 80+ hrs a week ?
that's too much
